@PandaIsMySpiritAnimal we are virtually at the same stage, start weight and finish (although my bmi is still 31.9, so you must be taller.

@Lovecycling im on 8mg at the moment. But for the last 1.5 weeks I’ve taken 4mg every 4 days instead. I’ve done two months on each pen. After whatever I can squeeze out of this last 7.5 pen on the golden dose I will be going up to a 10mg. I will probably still split it in half every 4 days, as I don’t get much in the way of suppression, but it’s slightly less hassle food noise wise if I do half doses more regularly.

Gingercar · 16/11/2025 15:01

Im trying to decide whether to buy another pen. I’ve another 3 stones to go, and am losing about 1lb a week nowadays. I have two 10mg pens and two 12.5 mg pens in the fridge, plus a 2.5 for coming off at the other end. I thought I’d have enough but think I probably won’t at this rate. It has so little suppression on me that I sometimes wonder if I could do the last bit alone, but I might be well over a stone away. But soon I will be out of date to reorder and below 30 bmi, so I need to decide now. I also could do without the expense at the moment!

Placestogo · 16/11/2025 15:20

@Gingercar i do have 3 pens in advance but im thinking about ordering one with my next pay check from one of the maintenance friendly provider so i am on their books. I am not sure what maintenance will look like for me yet so id rather keep my options open. I have 1 /1.5 stomes to lose until i start maintenance.

PandaIsMySpiritAnimal · 16/11/2025 15:27

@Lovecycling im currently finishing my first 10mg (gonna be taking golden dose on Friday).

I have just ordered another 10mg and then I'll evaluate. I also have 12.5mg ready in the fridge but want to give 10mg one more chance. 10mg feels a bit odd, I am thinking about food more on 10, and can eat bigger portions, so exercising a lot of will power at the moment (thought that's a good practice). But when I'm actually watching my calories intake I'm losing weight.

7.5 was my favourite so far (but only did 2 pens), it worked amazingly for 8 weeks and then from one day to another literally, any suppression was gone and food noise came back. I was gutted, was hoping to stay on it for a bit longer.

My current plan is to stay on each strength at least 2 pens, but have no issue with moving up through the strengths, the way I look at it, that's what they are there for.

PandaIsMySpiritAnimal · 16/11/2025 15:32

@Gingercar I'm 5 7, or 171cm.
I'm also plodding with about 1lbs per week at the moment , better than nothing I guess 😅 and every one lbs brings me closer to the goal ..only 43 lbs to go 😅

Placestogo · 16/11/2025 17:40

i am so happy with my weight loss and the resulting confidence boost! This was me in April this year (Size 18) vs me tonight about to go out and wearing a pair of faux-leather trousers in size 12! 3 stones difference… 1 to go! I am so much more confident in myself and in my body! I cant believe how big i let myself go!

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for the longest time. Life gets busy and I don't have a lot to say.
Well done to everyone on all the amazing loses, however small...off is off!
I have been jabbing since Mid/end May and have lost just over 27lbs. I am such a slow loser, but...off is off!
I have stalled these last two months. I hover around 14st 2lbs and 13st 13lbs... Depending on what I eat and bowel movements (sorry). I really want to lose
1½ stone more...but can't seem to gain momentum. I am struggling to afford my 5 pen, I don't think I can afford another increase 😢😢
Any handy tips? I drink loads of water, so I am constantly on the loo😄. Protein is good poached eggs for breakfast and chicken for dinner. I have noticed the evening snacking a couple of nights (but my mum came to stay and it was that or say my truth)... Since she has gone I am back to going to bed early rather than eat.
Keep going people, you are amazing. Don't let anyone tell you differently!

Seahorsesplendour · 17/11/2025 08:38

@planesick i hear you and it’s so frustrating! I’ve recently got through a similar plateau but have more left to loose than you. What got me past it in the end I’m sorry to say was a dose increase.

the costs are awful and I’ve now gone into debt for it which I judge myself for but also justify by trying to prioritise myself & my health. I am not suggesting you do this !! Just sharing! Also the pay off is manageable for us which is key.

only other thought is could you afford higher dose pens knowing they will last you longer? Obviously that is going off label and absolutely needs to be a risk you’re willing to take personally. There are lots of us doing it with no issues but again I’m not telling you too just sharing!! That means the cost per dose comes down.

fasting windows are another thought that just popped in maybe help but hard to do!!!

whatever you decide I wish you well it’s tough!!! 💐

Seahorsesplendour · 17/11/2025 10:49

Rare day off today with a bit of space today so have measured!! Thought I’d post this as a reminder to all to measure even if losses static!

I last measured about this time in August and since then have lost 1st 9lb (even tho I felt like I’d been static for ever!!)

waist and bust have lost 6cm

one thigh & one arm lost 1 cm (vv random the other stayed the same 😅)

and my favourite .. my hips lost 12cm!!!

i look down & my stomach is still huge but this was a physical reminder of how far i’ve come & really helpfully mentally!!

not doing my overall loses until I’m in maintenance phase!

wish I’d measured a couple of weeks ago to give me a boost whilst waiting for that whoosh!!!

keep on going all we’re doing great!!!

DBatteryBand · 17/11/2025 12:52

@Seahorsesplendour Thanks for the reminder about measuring. I am still losing weight, but finding it hard going this week. 7.5mg seems to let too many biscuits through the portcullis, and constipation issues mean I am eating lots of raisins, prunes, dried apricots etc, which are high in calories. I have to keep reminding myself that I am only 5lbs away from having lost 5 stone, I can walk into any high street shop and find something to try on, I can sit in a train seat without spilling over onto the person next to me, I don’t need to lower myself cautiously onto furniture…but I am still obese (BMI 32) and it seems like I have such a long way still to go, and even then I won’t be able to tip crisps down my neck and eat a packet of biscuits, it will be salad and chicken forever. Ho hum. Monday Blues, I suppose,

Onwards and downwards.

HereIGoOnceMore · 17/11/2025 16:38

Hi Everyone,

Totally agree that it’s good to measure to reassure ourselves that we are making progress, even if the scales are slow to move.

I have had some more scale movement last week and having reached my original target and then my would-be-nice-but-not-going-to happen target, I’m only 4Lb from my third and definitely final target of 9 stone, which I am hoping to be close to by Xmas. I honestly didn’t think that was possible and haven’t been that weight for 40 years.

My NSV is a good one, but actually mildly annoying. The new wide leg jeans I bought 6 weeks ago are already too big.

ElsieJay · 17/11/2025 19:07

Well done on your new measurements , @Seahorsesplendour ! 📏 ( apologies for the ruler emoji , there doesn’t seem to be a tape measure one ).
It is a hard old slog , isn’t it !

Seahorsesplendour · 17/11/2025 19:35

@ElsieJay it really is!!! I have to keep reminding myself that it is amazing and how excited I was at the start!!

@DBatteryBand i hear you!! After all the excitement this morning I ended up treating myself with a couple of chocolates!! I will now have to fight the cravings for next day or two until I jab!! If I don’t have it I’m fine!!

very frustrating!!

5lb away from 5st is incredible! I read that and was totally in awe of you! Then I realised in only 2lb behind you!! 🙈 it’s so much easier to be impressed by others achievements than our own!!

I remember a while back we all chatted about self care and appreciating ourselves! Maybe we need to revisit that!!

FlorenceNightshade · 17/11/2025 20:14

@HereIGoOnceMore i had the same issue with a pair of jeans - I put them in the tumble dryer and they are okay at the waist now! Never normally put my jeans in so was a bit scared of ruining them but figured I couldn’t really wear them as they were anyway so went for it!

@Seahorsesplendour ive never been able to measure, something about recording those numbers just gives me an ick but posts like yours make me wish I did! How incredible and what a boost for you!

Weigh in day for me. Another ploddy lb off, but hey, at least they keep coming! I’m probably not going to hit my next stone off by Xmas/new year, but I won’t be far off. I’m feeling a bit more positive. I’ve got another two rooms to paint. That worked wonders in august!

Apprenante · 18/11/2025 09:24

Just into the 10 stone numbers (10-- 13.5) on Sunday and still there today so I guess it's real. Gives me a bmi of exactly 30 so the next target is to be bmi 29.9!

Can't really remember when I was last 10 stone something, maybe in the 80s or 70s? I feel I need to get a big curly perm to go with it but my thinning silver hair couldn't take the shock.

Apprenante · 18/11/2025 09:25

@Gingercar, those pounds soon add up. We have to look at the big picture. Just think what your total loss is!

SussexLass87 · 18/11/2025 10:55

Wondered why the notifications about the May thread had stopped...then found you all again! Checking in 👋

Hope you're all doing well?

@SussexLass87 great to have you back!!! How’s it going?

Hello!

Argh it's okay....plodding along losing about 1lb a week. Nothing very exciting! But cheering on others who are doing so well. Hope you're doing okay!

ElsieJay · 19/11/2025 09:59

Brrrrr ! 🥶
Flurries of snow down here in the wild, wild SW of England when I opened the curtains this morning, thankfully all gone now.
Couldn't face 0% yoghurt for breakfast, so made a small bowl of porridge with blueberries. Not as nice as golden syrup, but needs must !
I spotted this on my WW app earlier and have made it my screensaver.
Onwards and downwards !

Apologies for double post, not sure what happened there 🙄🙄.
