Feel like I’ve gained a stone overnight, but what a lovely evening and amazing food.
Old Simos taverna in Sotira , can’t recommend it highly enough . 🩷😋
Sat outside right now with a huge mug of coffee , whilst the weather makes up its mind what it wants to do . Sunny at the moment , with a gentle breeze, church bells and birdsong. Wish I’d listened to DH and booked for three weeks ….. 😢.

Very tempted , but DH has a raft of hospital appointments coming up , starting the day after we get back , so sadly not possible this time …..😢

Both Cyprus and Norfolk sound glorious - it must be hard to come back @ElsieJay & @Apprenante you must be looking forward to a change of scenery.

We've started going somewhere new once a month with the kids - this month was Hove, next month is the New Forest. Nothing very glam or wild, but somewhere new and different. With the ND kids it can be tricky to try new things, so we thought with a mini adventure once a month it would be manageable.

It's been fun so far - usually involves a dog walk, picnic and pub (my kids absolutely love pubs 🤣) and just going somewhere different and new has been so much fun.

Completely unrelated to WLI that ramble...but I have found I'm a lot calmer since starting MJ but also a lot less cheerful - DH says my mood has flat lined this year. Having to work extra hard to be joyful or excited about things. I've read that's a common SE...but these monthly mini adventures have helped with that.

Good plan to have something to plan and look forward to each month, @SussexLass87 - we try to do the same. but only DH and me to worry about these days.
Glad you’re bringing up the children with a love of pubs dogs 🐶 and picnics ! 🍱

Also bought few new clothes as I have a short trip to USA coming up. And they’re all size 14 or 16. Go me!

I honestly can’t remember the last time I could browse in a clothes shop and find stuff to try on that would look half decent.

It’s been lovely weather up here. The cafe was quite busy. I’m determined to get more steps in this week while it’s nice.

I too am now under 90kg and it feels great to have lots of different options of regular sized clothes in size 14 and 16 that can be purchased from normal shops.

I'm also a bit addicted to Vinted as well whilst transitioning down the sizes.

Haven’t seen any here, believe there’s still at least one at the harbour in Paphos - we saw one there many years ago .
About two minutes after I’d taken the pic above, the nice waiter from the restaurant where we’d had lunch came up and said the beds are 30 euros EACH !
Never moved so fast in my life ! Had a (very) little conversation in Greek with waiter (our new best friend, Michalis 🤣) and he’s found us a table in the sun, with padded couch and perfect sea view .
I could soooo get used to this …… x

I am wearing a sparkly size 12 (more like 14 but I'll take the win) jumper from Sugarhill Brighton today. I last wore this on my birthday in maybe '21? I tried on a bunch of stuff over the weekend from my 'far too small clothes' suitcase. That collection got downgraded to hand luggage and the suitcase got put away properly, Russian Doll style.
The jumper is nice and loose around my torso but quite snug on my arms. What is it with my arms?

Anyway, I shall have a lovely afternoon in my sparkly-on-a-Monday-for-no-reason jumper!

I’ve just been on a good hilly walk with the lab. I’m pleased to say that I didn’t have to stop and gasp for breath halfway up, like I did when I was 60lbs heavier! I will get these bloody scales to move again!!
(it was sunny when I set off without a coat!)
