I'm the same @Gingercar - I've put on 4lbs in a fortnight and genuinely not sure how or why.

I'm going up a dose to see if that helps (and maybe it's time anyway?)

It's good to hear that this is a common thing to happen after a year - I feel much better as it's been getting me down a bit - thank you for reminding us x

I’m the same. I went up a few lbs last week, then it went down again, then bounced up a lb again and hasn’t gone back down yet. I know I’ve not eaten anything wrong. My sensible head knows it will come off sooner or later, but my non sensible head is going “waaaaah! Whyyyyyy?” It doesn’t help that I’m on a Facebook group where some people have raced along and lost tons in the same time - why is it these posts stay in my mind and bug me rather than the numerous other posts from others fed up with slow progress too!
Telling myself - Need to be logical and just keep going.

Same here @Gingercar. Took me almost 5 months to lose this last stone. Always been a slow loser but that was getting me down too. Think we just have to remind ourselves how far we’ve come in a year and keep on keeping on. Will definitely try and focus more on NSVs.

Yes you’re right. It’s good to keep talking to each other like this - it’s helpful knowing it’s not just you. We can support each other in keeping going.

Like - yep it might have taken months to lose that last stone, but lose it you did - and you added it to your total weight loss so far. Which is great. And fat and fed up you from this time last year would be so happy at the thought of losing what you have lost. And future you is going to be so proud that you kept going when it was hard, and didn’t fall off the wagon..

Same over here @Gingercar @SussexLass87 @WhynotJanet , I’m bobbing up and down and wondering what is wrong with me. Went up to 7.5 last Sunday and I’ve felt sick all week, eaten a little less and gained a lb. Urgh.

like you all have said though, it’s so comforting to know we’re not alone. I’m restricting my social media to this group only to preserve my sanity - thank you you lovely lot!

I'm off for a birthday day out in Hove (actually! IYKYK) And bloody hell getting dressed has been such a hassle...nice top and jeans? Easy. Nope. All my go to "naice tops" now look dowdy and frumpy...other things feel alien and like someone else should wear them.

Funny how I thought losing weight would fix everything but (shocker!) it hasn't!

In happier news I'm wearing a 14 top and bottoms and oversized shirt in a size 8...just some mental adjusting needed with how things fit!

Hello all , from a rather drizzly/ overcast Cyprus .Ironically weather is to improve from Monday and we head home Tuesday.
Mixed weather means less walking , and more eating rubbish.
Out this evening for meze, just with DD and DSiL , DGS seeing the girlfriend - seems very smitten 😍.DGD flew back to Uni on Friday , so many hugs (and a few private tears from us ).
Am hoping to wear my new cream trousers tonight but seriously wondering if I’ll be able to pull the zip up !
Colour-wise probably not the best thing to wear , but longing to put on something holiday-ish, has been trackie bottoms most evenings as it gets chilly.
Back on it with a vengeance next week .
Onwards, and most definitely downwards!

As walk out of the question , bit the bullet and checked the cream trousers - they’re fine, maybe a bit snugger over the tum than they were but ok. Phew 😰 !
Will pair with smart dark brown t shirt if dry, chestnut coloured cotton jumper if not .
No doubt will drop saganaki or something on the trousers, but at least I’ll arrive looking relatively put together .

Just popping my head round the door to join the chorus of folk finding things hard going. Weight loss has slowed right down and I have developed the wrinkly old lady look with all my loose skin, especially on my tummy and upper arms. Any suggestions for nice smelling lotions that might help? (I know I need to drink more water and do more exercise, but what I really want to do is cover myself in lovely unguents and sit in an armchair in my new clothes, looking glamorous and smelling divine whilst sipping a cold glass of fizz.)

A huge heartfelt thank you for all of you wonderful women...almost a year old support and laughs, reminders to celebrate every little win and keep me on track.

I'm feeling a bit cruddy about turning 42 and you've all reminded me just how far I've (we've all) come.

I'm 2.5 stone less, wearing a size 14 and feeling stronger and lighter than almost a year ago.

I felt absolutely awful last birthday and it was a big push to start MJ.

I wish I could give you all a real life squeeze.

You're so lovely! Thank you... actually had a mini cry this morning over getting dressed. Ridiculous!!

I’m slathering myself in Nuxe body oil , with a top coat of Vaseline Intensive Care “Cocoa Radiance” lotion.
Both inexpensive , effective and smell glorious.

I don’t post on here very often but have mainly been lurking in the background for the past year. There are some awesome achievements from people in here. It’s great to look back and see how far we’ve come.

I’ve only got 2 weeks to go until my WLI anniversary. I’m 4 stones down even though at times it’s felt like the scales didn’t move for weeks. I’m feeling stronger than ever but need to continue to build muscle to fill some of this loose skin 😂

The kimono is a blouse from Per Una (via Vinted obvs..😁) there's loads of them on there and they're so useful. Very oversized though.

Don't know about anyone else but my Vinted obsession needs no encouragement....

@Gingercar My first time visiting Hove (despite growing up in East Sussex!?) and wowser it is lovely! How lovely to have lived there!

Even with your weather I'd like to be in Cyprus @ElsieJay . We're off to Norfolk for a week and the weather will be distinctly cool. Nothing against Norfolk but it's not an exciting destination.

I think I'll have loose skin for ever. There just isn't enough muscle building in me. I slather on creams but they don't work for me, even though they smell nice. Oh well.

It’s probably 30 years since I lived there. I was based at Gatwick when I first started flying. I really ought to go back for a visit, I’ve still a lot of friends there, but it’s so far from the Pennines!

Body shop’s Shea butter is pretty good on my skin too. I’m hoping all these slow losses will help with the skin!
Ive only got 1.5 pens left, plus a 2,5 pen that I got sent in error. I was hoping to have lost another stone by the end, but with this inertia I’ll be lucky to have lost another half. 🙁. I’ve just ordered some running shoes and a swimming costume- I think I’m going to have to throw more exercise into the equation. I had to work very hard to get the last stone off when I joined the airline and got to goal at ww. And I was 27 then, not 57!😮
