I've just collected my first supply and wondered if anyone wanted to join in with the journey! I'm on 2.5 and I'm 14st1, goal weight is 12 stone as that is my pre baby weight and we'll see how I feel once I've reached it!

any tips on when to take it each week? I'm going to avoid alcohol and even though snacking is my weakness I think purchasing a supply is going to make me stop in a weird way. Any tips gratefully received and if anyone wants to join the journey for support and no judgment here's the place!

I am a headache/migraine sufferer and for that reason the pharmacist recommended Wegovy over Mounjaro, only just coming to the end of week 2 but so far no headaches or side effects whatsoever. There are a few others on the December starters who normally suffer but are similarly headache free.

Ok after much indecision I’ve decided to go straight up to 5mg today rather than 3.75. Just weighed and I’ve stayed the same this week, making a total loss of 7lb in the first four weeks (and five of those were the first week). Excited to see what a difference it makes. And I’m thinking for Christmas week I still might then do a smaller dose, will see how I’m coping by then.

I have had less headaches since being on MJ, generally suffer a lot. I imagine its the increase in water and complete overhaul of what I'm eating, esp less sugar etc.

Hopefully everything will have settled by Christmas also so you may be ok? 🤞

I haven’t had any headaches but Im not really a headache person. I have been getting really lightheaded though first thing - I just got up to answer the door and everything went black and I had to drop to my knees for a sec - closest I’ve ever been to passing out so it was a bit scary. Blood pressure 108/66 which is low for me but still normal

I was trying to order a spare pen, but I can't find any pharmacies who aren't a pain in the arse to order from and my iPhone won't do anything live

I think I'm just going to give up on a spare possibly

What is it with pharmacies trying to take the money before they've completed the boarding process? Quite sure Voy didn't do that.

Lotus was really easy, just needed to complete consultation and then send photos that are less than 30 days old so I sent my original photos. Possibly sent presciption label on box and ID also. They probably were a day or 2 older than 30 days actually. Approved in less than 20 mins and arrived next day.

Found discount code online, I think I may have sent you a referral code also but Monj website is useful for codes. I just sent picture of box for the jab I had ordered a couple of weeks prior and they didnt ask any questions.

Yes all the ones I have ordered from rake money first, Simple online pharmacy declined me in the beginning and refunded automatically straight away.

Week 3 for me, I'm not weighing myself yet, last week I felt like I'd lost some but feel really bloated this week. I did have a few drinks at weekend and actually really struggled to enjoy it, it's amazing how this does dull those receptors right down. Hoping for a swoosh in week 4. No bad side effects at all really so wonder if I'm getting full doses or if I'm just lucky? I'm entrusting my DH to inject me into my thigh as I can't pluck up the courage to do it (yes I know it's tiny etc)

@Fifiellz sorry that sounds scary! You could maybe try some electrolytes or even something salty like broth to help get your BP back up?

pharmacy wise I’ve used Bolt for my first pen and pharmacy2U for second pen. They both were pretty easy and delivered v quickly. I’d recommend. Pharmacy2U didn’t even ask for evidence of my 2.5mg pen before they prescribed a 5mg, I was surprised.

So just did my jab day weigh in and I'm 1.5 pounds down on last Monday.

It's my first jab with new pen tonight and like @Springbaby2023 I'm going straight for 5mg. I've not had any real side effects so far, my satiety is no longer kicking in and I think my weight loss this week is more about being "good" then anything else. I'm still not really tempted by "naughty" things but I could just be in the zone.

Interesting that @RoundandSad describes hanger but not hunger because it's been the other way around for me!

We shall see what 5mg brings tonight…

I’ve had a fever all day, I have no appetite so I’m not eating any more than I was before. I was supposed to take my third shot of MJ yesterday. Has anyone been in this position? I’m really unsure what to do. I’ve barely been able to leave the sofa all day…

@user593it won’t do you any harm to leave it today and see if you feel better tomorrow.

I was due to start my new 5m pen today, but thought I would give the golden dose a try! I managed to twist it round with my hand to 1 and gave myself the dose. I’m not sure how much it was, would that still be 2.5? I think I’ll go up to 3.75 with the new pen next week.

If it went to 1 and pushed all the way in, then it should be the normal dose but I’ve never done it that way before so not totally sure. I know a lot of people are left with a dose bigger than the usual for that pen. I had a look at mine and the dose left is definitely more.

That’s why the syringe method is helpful because you know exactly what volume you’re getting.

It went to one and pushed all the way down, just like a normal dose. There was a tiny bit left in the pen afterwards, but not much. If it hadn’t worked I was going to chuck it as not got any needles and don’t want to try using them. 2.5 is still working for me and I’ve not had any side effects. I might bring my next one forward a day if it’s wearing off.

Thats interesting re the pens still working, I read that the new ones don't work after 240 clicks.

That’s interesting. I also went to Pharmacy2U recently for my second pen and they needed screen shots of my previous 2.5 order, a video of me with my ID and a further video of me weighing myself.

@SexyFrenchDepression yes good point, although I’m less worried about side effects and more worried that I will have too much suppression to enjoy Christmas food! But I guess by then I’ll have an idea of how 5mg is working.
