I've just collected my first supply and wondered if anyone wanted to join in with the journey! I'm on 2.5 and I'm 14st1, goal weight is 12 stone as that is my pre baby weight and we'll see how I feel once I've reached it!

any tips on when to take it each week? I'm going to avoid alcohol and even though snacking is my weakness I think purchasing a supply is going to make me stop in a weird way. Any tips gratefully received and if anyone wants to join the journey for support and no judgment here's the place!

2.5 weeks in and midway between jab 3 and 4. I’m down 7lb. Not having as many side effects this week. I’m not counting calories, I’m just trying to eat better and snack less, but it’s hard to get in enough protein when I’m not that hungry.

I was 15 stone 1lb this am, hoping I’ll be 14lb 7 for Xmas.

@Nearlyamumoftwo You basically click the one 45 times instead of 60 times to give you three quarters of the dose (which is around 3.75) and then you get five doses. I think any other time of year I’d go straight up to 5mg but I don’t want to be hit with bad side effects and super strong suppression for Christmas.

I've just re ordered and been approved for 5mg. I decided to go up as I'm definitely a bit more hungry than I was. I’m not looking for suppression but satiety. Can see myself being more likely to be tempted to eat something less healthy soon.

I thought about it for quite a while before deciding to go for the higher dose. But everything I've read says it's the right time. And most people go up with no issues. I've not really had any side effects on 2.5mg except a tiny bit of indigestion which I'm susceptible to anyway.

Hopefully I won’t be regretting my decision.

@tobee I’ve had the same experience as you on 2.5lb, and is now just starting to wear off. I went for the 5 because even though 2.5 is still working well, I don’t think it will in another 4 weeks and don’t want to be stuck with just that pen! I am considering doing the 45 clicks for 3.75 though..

@JustBeach That was my logic… didn’t want to be stuck for four weeks with a pen I felt wasn’t doing much! I’m basically finding that the day of my jab my appetite is back to near normal so hoping stepping up will stop that

I’ve ordered a 5mg pen too and the 3.75mg idea is tempting!

I'm the same as you all, really undecided whether to go up to 5mg or go for 3.75mg. My appetite suppression is actually good on 2.5mg TBH but I did have fairly bad nausea for a couple of weeks. 1st week I could hardly eat at all. I feel great this week and loads of energy, just not hungry.

I think I’ll do 3.75 for the first week and see how I get on. A double dose does seem like quite a leap!

Took my second dose of 2.5 last night and feeling sea sick again. My appetite was back before I took it and I even dared have a couple of cans of Diet Coke on Sunday. Nearly 13lbs now and going to take it easy for the next few days, try and avoid another bad night of cramps!

I just tried to buy my second pen as I'll be on my last dose from my first one from pharmacy4u this week. Looked at the comparison site and Bolt looked like the cheapest for 5 mg. But when I tried to buy it'll only let me buy 2.5 mg?

@diggitydoo did you fill out the consultancy to say you are already on Mounjaro? It let me go straight to 7.5 from a photo of a 5mg pen

i'm quite nervous about 3.75

This weekend has been better than last weekend, but I still felt pretty down the night we had to go out I took some Pepto-Bismol for going because I just assumed I would be feeling bad without it. I don't know maybe I'm doing the wrong thing. I just feel a bit strange after meals. I feel quite strange all the time... until it levels off

Last week I had enough appetite suppression for five days. Not like I couldn't eat but enough suppression to make dieting easy

Today is only day three after my injection and I feel like my appetite has gone back to normal. I suppose that means I'm getting used to the dose.

I was the only person on the team not eating cake this afternoon! I was lucky no one commented but I am surprised they didn't

update on Voy they make no sense! Before I got a reply to my email, I found a way to bring forward my order which I didn't find in the app before but even AI says people find the app confusing

So I think that triggering an automatic message for review and they approved it so it's meant to arrive tomorrow even if it doesn't, I don't need it till Friday

Goodness knows what they'll do between Christmas and New Year, which is when the next one will be due. It would be much easier if they sent it out early, but no one's gonna send it out that early.

@SexyFrenchDepression how did you get on at the carvery? I have eaten out once on the first week and it was fine, but I didn't have such bad side effects at that point

I’ve not had much suppression but it’s definitely easier to eat healthily
Not had any desire for crap food , for dinner I just did some steamed carrot , Brussels sprouts, garden peas and a grilled chicken breast
Starting to think about the reordering process as I look forward to jab 3 on Thursday
Didn’t get any offer or bargain so keen to consider options

@RoundandSad I Moved the date of my next pen with Voy forward by a week otherwise it would’ve arrived on the day I was due to take it! It came the following morning after it was approved. My next one is due 28th Dec, but I can move it forward to the 21st - so I’ll do that! If I do 3.75 I’ll have an extra one anyway. I’m still undecided about going up to 3.75, this week my suppression has been better! I’ve struggled to eat today and am on day 6!

@RoundandSad it was surprisingly ok, I had meat and veg mainly, I usually love roast potatoes but took one and a couple of crispy bits and that was it. I couldnt finish it all, I am very much a dessert person, esp the ice creams in there but I had no desire to have one. It made me feel really relaxed as I enjoyed it but didn't overeat.

@66babe I don't know if the strange feeling is psychological but like now I think I have a headache but I'm not actually sure. Just being on it makes me tense.

@JustBeach I'm pretty sure the dates that I could move to changed last weekend. I'm not gonna do anything about it now because I suppose it's okay but I will look at it maybe a week before Christmas and see if I can arrange for it to arrive earlier again if I stick with 3.75 I suppose it doesn't matter

I have now had an email reply and it doesn't make a huge amount of sense, but they probably think I'm confused because I was able to move the day after after sending email

I wonder if other providers are this confusing

@SexyFrenchDepression glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I didn't feel I was missing out on the cake. I wasn't fussed. There is chocolate in the house and I'm not fussed about that either. So that's exciting.

When I think how quickly the month has gone I realise I'm gonna be on this for awhile aren't i, no wonder it took me so long to decide.

I started to think about ordering my third pen as the last two took a while to get though the approval/despatch process and I figured my next pen would be needed around Christmas which could only add to the potential delay.

I wanted to change supplier (to get a discounted price) and also to go up from 2.5 to 5mg.

Thinking this could easily take a couple of weeks I made a start with Pharmacy2U last night and my order has already been despatched this afternoon!

I will have it way too early - I will only be doing my 2nd dose from pen 2 this Friday - but at least it will be there when I am ready for it. I’m going to see how suppression is after a few more weeks of 2.5 then will decide whether to do 3.75mg doses or 5mg doses from the new 5mg pen.

@RoundandSad I did feel very strange for the 1st 3 weeks but week 4 I felt much more normal and feel fine now. I definitely dont feel I want to go to 5mg in one go as dont want to go back to having the nausea so will likely try 3.75 on Thurs unless anything drastic changes in next couple of days.

I have 2 pens in fridge as my original supplier were so slow but new supplier were super speedy. I have used a referral link to get another one cheap. I will just order 1 a month after this one and then maybe have longer gaps in a few months if I feel I am going to have to stay on it for maintenance as I wont be able to wait till it runs out completely as I would potentially not get accepted.

Re pharmacy2u I started my consultation at 14.20 yesterday afternoon, my 2nd pen with them, increasing to 5mg. It was delivered at 12.30 by Royal Mail today. Not bad less than 24 hours. Wish they were cheaper though.

I'm starting to see the argument about keeping a pen in hand

Especially if anything goes wrong with the mechanism or whatever

So at the weekend, I might look to sort this out

I just show them my prescription do I? Don't they ask why you're ordering? I suppose I wouldn't be able to claim I was trying to get a new pen because the prescription date will have a new day on it.

Or I I could show them a screenshot of part of the plan

It would be a nuisance to get stuck out between Christmas and New Year because nothing will get sorted at that time

I almost forgot, I've got lunch out tomorrow and a dinner out on Thursday

Thursday will probably be easy enough as I will be in the lowest blood level but I must be careful not to upset my stomach tomorrow

Then again if the pen works alright the first time, it works doesn't it?

My credit card is getting bashed already and it's only the 1st December

I have now done three weeks on Wegovy and took my 4th jab on Friday.

So an 8lb loss but 4 of that in the first week.

Blah I had gained almost 2lb this morning. I know it’s just water fluctuations etc but it’s frustrating nonetheless. Hoping maybe I’ll be treated to a whoosh soon.

I am worried I feel more irritable since I started MJ. But it might also just be being a mum to two demanding under fours :/

I did my second jab on Sunday. I'm not weighing myself for my own mental welfare as I'll get obsessed I know I will and be stressing it's not happening fast enough or whatever. I feel I've lost a little weight off my boobs but other than that I don't feel massively different yet and no major side effects. Definitely more hunger pains this week than last week but I'm not eating a great deal so I need to put some systems for healthy and regular eating in place.
