Just kicking off another thousand posts of encouragement and support!

@MeridaBrave what an arsehole! Exactly why I keep quiet too. We live in a very well researched bubble - most people still only know Ozempic and Sharon Osborne. Lots of young 20 somethings where I work only know it as something illegal you buy - I've heard it's sold in clubs! 😅 In which case they are doing clubbing all wrong these days...

New thread. First post re: lifting heavy. I mentioned on the other thread about lifting heavy for 6-8 reps and I was told it was bad advice. Clearly...

much the same here, to the point I think me with actual food in me weighs a kilo or so more than me without food. So if I’m ‘good’ I revert back to 65kg or just under, whereas normal eating means more like 66/67. That would be fine if it went no further but I worry it will!

I think I have done myself harm though and now have gallbladder issues, horrible explosive diarrhoea every 4-6 weeks as bile builds up and then irritates my colon. I suppose we all knew this was a risk but is it worth being thin for….?

Ha, we are exactly the same weight range. At my lowest, I was 63.5, but happy if I stay below 65. But when I titrated down to 2.5mg, I'd get to 66.5 and find it impossible to bring it down without moving back up to 5mg. Sigh. I do not so far have any obvious symptoms - but who knows what the long-term consequences will be! But losing the weight has brought be down below pre-diabetic levels, and I can fit into all my clothes again, and I feel energetic and well! Are you on 5mg too?

Yes exactly the same, 63.7 is the lowest I’ve seen on the scales. I’m 170cm and a small twelve or big ten and this really is perfectly fine. I’m on Wegovy so 1mg, which is the third level. I did go up to 1.7mg but that was the thing that caused my stomach to explode so that’s not an option. My 1mg I take every ten days. I don’t think it does anything at all at the moment. I’m raging hungry. But not quite willing to stop unless it gets worse!

It is stressful isn't it? I'm constantly wondering if I should brave it and stop, or continue indefinitely. I did manage to lose and keep the weight off earlier in my life, but hitting my late 40s just seems to have made all that much harder. Sigh. Good luck and keep us posted!
