I consider myself as OMAD but I have two coffees before eating. I don't enforce rigid rules on myself.. when I say I follow fast 800 I don't really I just stick to those calories.ine might come from steamed fish amd veg one day and mars bar and packet of crisps another day.

That's my kind of diet!

Loving the NSVs. As of today I have lost 100 lbs. Got about 40 to go I think. Definitely feeling like a marathon now, and I am probably losing 1 lb a week, certainly no more if I average it out.

SilenceInside · 24/10/2025 10:22

Week 68 weigh in. Onwards and downwards, via some slight pauses...

SW: 139kg (21st 12 lbs)
CW: 74.1kg (11st 9lbs), was 74.1kg (11st 9lbs)
GW: 73kg (11st 7lbs) sixth interim goal
BMI: 26.9
Current pen: 10mg, 24 weeks on this dose.

Stayed the same this week. It feels quite hard to make decent downwards progress at the moment, the odd loss followed by staying the same for a while. Makes me impatient and grumpy! But I think it is to be expected after such a very long period of consistent weight loss, so I just need to suck it up and carry on.

GnomeDePlume · 24/10/2025 10:39

Amazing weight losses and it's great to see people closing in on their goal weight. It reminds me that it is achievable.

When I lost weight using Lighter Life I gave up before I achieved my goal weight because I just couldnt face carrying on. I had over 6 months of only eating meal replacement shakes and bars.

This still feels different. Not sure what will happen when I do reach goal weight. I shall probably have to hide from the diabetes nurse so that I can keep going with mounjaro.

NSV - I went out to buy more tissues (still full of cold) and realised that I was fair trotting along to the shop and had parked some way from it. I could still hear the much bigger me voice in my head saying 'shall we go somewhere else so that we can park closer?'. It's strange, it is my voice but not me.

Billybingbong · 24/10/2025 12:02

I am loving all these amazing weight losses and NSVs. It is such a thrill to see everyone doing so well, and a real motivation boost for those struggling right now.

I have one to add to the roll call this week. Ive hit 5st loss 🤩. I am delighted and still can't quite believe how this is happening. After 40+ years of dieting, I can finally envisage life without obesity, it's quite mindblowing if I think about it too much.

Im still recovering from covid, and have barely left the house in 2 weeks. I'm going a bit stir crazy, and am desperate to get some sea air, so we're planning on a cliff top walk tomorrow. I'm weak as a kitten still, so it will either kill or cure!!

SW 22st 8lb
CW 17st 7lb
GW 11st 4lb

Have a great week everyone, keep posting those amazing achievements

Lds1 · 24/10/2025 12:17

I can't remember if I posted yesterday, the kg I put on has finally gone but only just, I'll continue omad, it's been consisting of black coffee, water and my usual dinner. Although tomorrow it might be lunchtime food as we're going out, also can't rule out cake happening instead of actual food.

I tried the size 12 jeans on again today, 1 pair fitted ok, the others still a bit tight, especially when I sat down in them. Still buying wide legged to fit my legs in though!

Autumnflowers2 · 24/10/2025 12:39

I've just ordered some clothes on line in the sale ...replaced all my hoodies, joggers ,t shirts and a gillet with size 20s .
They might be a little tight ,so if so I will pack them away for a month ..but the size above drowns me .
I'm so fed up of people asking why I'm wearing such baggy clothes.
But huge change from my usual size 32 .
I still go to look for size 32 in the sale ,and have to remind myself,I don't need that any more

Iwouldratherbesinging · 24/10/2025 15:15

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 24/10/2025 09:38

That's my kind of diet!

Mine too!

mamabeeboo · 24/10/2025 15:43

I'm trying to get used to walking faster rather than my average slow pace since I am not carrying an extra 6 stone. The very short walks, like from the living room to the kitchen, I'm doing it so fast, I blink and I'm there! My body can move so much more freely. Especially since I'm not taking an age to get up from the sofa.

TheZingyFish · 24/10/2025 16:23

Small NSV for me, I’ve noticed I can wear boots with a small heel again. For ages I would only wear flat ballet pumps, trainers or Birkenstocks as any heel would be so uncomfortable on the ball of my feet, and I just couldn’t wear them, but I’ve been able to start wearing them again.
I guess there’s less weight and therefore less pressure on the balls of my feet, time to start looking through the rest of my shoes and see what I can start to wear again. I expected to start finding some clothes I could wear again but hadn’t thought the same might apply to footwear.

Lds1 · 24/10/2025 16:26

Having a massive sort out, kept some clothes but also got rid of loads. Found my biggest pair of jeans and tried them on. Size 28 and they used to fit and at 1 time got a bit tight.

@Lds1 your pic is incredible!!! It shows just how far you have come. You must be so proud of yourself. Very very well done! 👏👏👏👏👏

TragicMuse · 24/10/2025 18:45

I love the pic @Lds1 you look fab!

Fffreeeeezing · 24/10/2025 18:46

So I’ve just booked up for an intro session for Reformer Pilates (you have to have an hours 1:1 intro session before they let you do the actual classes). Anyone tried it? I already do strength and weight training so thought resistance training would be a good addition. I may live to regret………😬

afaloren · 24/10/2025 19:40

Oh, there’s a new thread! I thought it had gone quiet Grin

I forgot to jab today, I’m ao annoyed. I’m experiencing a plateau and this won’t help! I’m away from home now until Sunday so will have to have when I get home and hope for the best.

PearlTeapot · 25/10/2025 03:58

Just wondering about my weight loss when I leave here. I won’t be weighing as it might be triggering but I will be jabbing throughout. Going to 2.5 from 2 on Sunday at last.

I’m living on sandwiches and jacket potatoes, it’s hard to eat away from my usual staples. But I’m trying not to think about it too much because it is what it is. I’m not leaving my room either so no movement. Just trying to think I’m doing my best, I’ve got no snacks and don’t want any, and trying to drink water as well as coffee.

Pooing is still an issue, made worse by the fact that I’m on 1-2-1 nursing so trying to have a crap with someone sitting on the other side of a semi open door is impossible! They were getting a bit worried ‘it’s been 5 days since you had a bowel movement’ but I told them it’s normal for me since mj!

PearlTeapot · 25/10/2025 03:59

@Lds1 brilliant pics! Very motivating.

Iwouldratherbesinging · 25/10/2025 07:49

That’s amazing @Lds1, that first picture is almost comical! Looking amazing 🤩

Lds1 · 25/10/2025 09:27

@PearlTeapot all you can do is your best, we're all here to support you through 😊 I have the toilet issue too, I can't imagine what it's like with some one else there too, I'm bad enough if I need to go anywhere else but home 😞

Thanks for the love for the pictures, hopefully I won't have to see those jeans again! It was quite motivating whilst I'm in this plateau.

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 25/10/2025 09:34

Mum2Fergus · 25/10/2025 09:57

Wk35 weigh in this morning (wk3 on 7.5mgs) … and 2lbs down! Normally I’d be celebrating this but having had a run of staying the same it just feels overdue 🤣. My positives though: I’m now in the 14st range, and Ive now less to lose than I’ve already lost so over the half way mark.

I’ve lost 24% of my starting weight and averaging 1.9lbs loss per week over the 35 weeks.

SW (15 Feb 25): 19st 9lbs / BMI 44.4 (obese class 3)
CW: 14st 13lb / BMI 33.7 (obese class 1)
GW: healthy BMI (between 18.5 and 24.9 (8.3st-11st) for my height) - 3st 13lb to go to get to top of healthy range.

Wks 1-4 (2.5mg): -17lbs
Wks 5-8 (2.5mg): -6lbs
Wks 9-12 (2.5mg): -11lbs
Wks 13-16 (5mg): -7lbs
Wks 17-20 (5mg): -4lbs
Wks 21-24 (5mg): -7lbs
Wks 25-28 (5mg): -7lbs
Wks 29-32 (5mg): -4lbs
Wk33 (7.5mg): -1lb
Wk34 (7.5mg): -0lb
Wk35 (7.5mg): -2lbs

Total loss: 66lbs

Fffreeeeezing · 25/10/2025 11:30

Weigh in 32 for me today and an amazing 4lb off bringing my total loss to 6st 3lb,hurrah to reaching 6st loss! 🥳

Was my first week on 12.5mg, no side effects just like all the other doses, no additional suppression but it obviously did its thing, let's hope it continues. I think I ate over my calories several days this week as well (by less than a hundred but I don't usually get near my maximum 'allowance') so I think I'll try it again this week!
So close to quarter of me being gone and so close to being over half way to goal.

Although it's only an interim goal that gets me to under 30bmi as depending on how it's going, I might stop there, I'll decide when I get there.

Goodness @Fffreeeeezing you've lost an emperor penguin.

Somehow that sounds less enthralling than losing the cock of an elephant.......
🤣

Well, I've lost another 1lb, after stalling yet again for a fortnight.

I now weigh 11st 11lb.

Total loss in 22 months is 8st 5lb.

This morning I put on these size 10 jeans. They're a bit tight but they do up.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne you're right- on checking my elephant penis status however I am nearly at x1.5 of those, only 3lb until I'm at newborn calf level though 🤷🏼‍♀️

In breaking news, I just pulled a size 18 pair of jeans from the bottom of my wardrobe and thought I'd see how far up my thighs I could now pull them. They glided straight on and fit perfectly, didn't even have to breath in/lie down /yank the fabric together to do up the button. I then felt brave and tried a size 18 pair of skinny jeans and they fit too, in fact I'm wearing them now and they are so comfy, I've missed these 🥰. I'm wearing an outfit today that is entirely non plus size brands and I plan on never going back. Yours, SImply Be, Evans, any 'Curve' range can do one from here on in!
