We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

But it's OK to have treats if you in your calorie allowance

The bag took me way over my cals

and I seem to want something sweet daily

so every day last week I was over my cals and why I gained - thi still way under my ballpark

this is not like me

I didn’t think I had this food noise people say about

but eat me. Lick me. Suck me

but I do now. 🙀🙀😢😢

Ah blondes, that sounds hard. Could you buy some small pre/packaged treats so that you can schedule them and they have a natural end point? So the fun size Maltese’s, schedule them in so you aren’t craving them and getting tempted by the big bags?

What has worked in the past?

Yiuve done so well, these are teething problems. You are figuring out how to navigate this stage, it’s experimental.

knowing me I would eat 3/4 bags of the small ones

I absolutely get this...been using my maintenance calories for sweet treats. If I had a packet of chocolates I would eat them all. Don't buy in advance and only have something in your calorie allowance..so no stocking up on small or big bags at all! Have you tried making baked oats with different flavours..I made them for breakfast with blueberries today.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2025 15:30

I don’t want oats

I want chocolate

@Blondeshavemorefun is there a hormonal reason for it?

FurForksSake · 08/11/2025 17:58

Back down to 8st6 for his morning, half a pound above my lowest. Four pounds to go and I really will be at the minimum I want to weigh. I want to get to 8st5, but won’t be trying or worrying about losing beyond that I think.

im pleased the holiday gains didn’t stick!

I definitely want my maintenance window to be between 8st and 8st7.

Oh I know how you feel. Before MJ I would happily eat 2 giant bars of chocolate ....not feeling like that on 7.5 BUT I am on my second glass of wine..measured it so I can calorie count. Could happily drink the bottle!
Try mixing choc options with Greek yoghurt or just eat the chocolate....you have wriggle room now..BUT if it becomes a habit maybe you will start going over your happy weight?
Is there a reason? Is it comfort eating, winter blues or boredom? Hope you are not too fed up 🤗

Yes, you’re a crisps person, aren’t you? I had some very nice sticky pork m&s ones this week 😆🤭

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2025 21:38

Yes. Love crisps

Oh dear… I’ve given myself the 💩 I thought to myself yesterday (maybe because we’re nearing the festive season) oh I really fancy a Buck’s Fizz so brought myself some OJ with pulk and Prosecco and continued tonight. Suddenly a few hours ago got the 💩’s thought that’s weird. Googled does OJ with pulp cause 💩… whoops! Body probably wasn’t ready for that! You’re welcome for the TMI! But be aware 😂😂

FurForksSake · 10/11/2025 09:22

8st5 this morning! New low! That was the goal on my lose it app, but the goal on my scales is 8st2, so I’ll keep going towards that and then see if I want to stay there or bounce between the two. I reckon I could get in a size six in some places now, I’m tempted to buy some trousers from next to see 😆😆😆

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/11/2025 12:54

Well done

@PoemsForTea I'm also wearing a favourite comfortable shirt. It is baggy and seems about 3 inches longer. It's not a good look for me.

I bought a lovely top from Monsoon This one to see me through the festive season. Small size, just perfect. Then bought some nice thick black leggings to go with it. I'm thinking the Claudia Winkleman look, but mid 60s and blonde/grey bob - more like Claudia Wrinkleman!

BMI is 22.something but I'm still in size 12 for the leggings. Years of being overweight have left me with a claustrophobic body that doesn't like being squeezed into tight clothing. I could get the size 10s on, but my tummy didn't like it!

I'm doing one month on, one month off. Haven't injected since end of October. Today I have had the munchies big style. I'm trying to think of it as a one-off and trying not to assume that tomorrow will be the same. Especially important as dsis (skinny-minny) is coming to stay this weekend and I want to feel slim and svelte. 2lbs either way would make all the difference to how I feel in myself.

Babysitting tonight for my dgc so will avoid temptations. Then busy tomorrow until lunchtime with no food opportunities. That will help keep me on the straight and narrow.

With my favourite man 😍 It was a surprise treat..he doesn't do bunches of flowers but he does do holidays! He's lost a stone recently. Never had to worry about what he ate until he gave up running and then retired.

FurForksSake · 13/11/2025 09:05

8st3 this morning, the week off for holiday has really shifted things afterwards! I’ll weigh in the morning in case I’ve somehow crept under and hit my lower goal. I won’t be able to weigh for a while as I won’t be weight bearing for a few weeks. That feels quite scary! I guess though it’s just like being on holiday?

20bloodypounds · 13/11/2025 13:56

Hoping everything goes well for you @FurForksSake Flowers

I'm pleased that my hungry day seemed to be a one-off and I'm managing to control my implusesand I'm still at the same weight. Over the time we've been doing this I've got used to not buying and eating certain foods, and also to using a smaller plate. I'm continuing to do that.

I noticed yesterday that I ate my dinner (still at the small size) more quickly than I have over the past year. But I wasn't tempted to have anything else afterwards.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2025 14:30

Hope all are well. I’ve been good this week trying to claw back my gain even still well under my ballpark

no more bingeing on chocolate tho have been having a diet hot chocolate to try and help the chocolate cravings

this is going to be a forever thing isn’t it. To always be on the ball of what I can or can’t eat /crave

Hey blondes! Yes, I think we are all going to be working it out and moving in and out of our range from time to time. Hot chocolate sounds good! Shame there isn’t a replacement for crisps! I do eat the salt and vinegar proper chips, they are good.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2025 14:49

I will always eat crisps. End of 😂😂
