We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

Got a bmi of under 24 today for the first time, so close to my goal of 23 now! Not sure the waist to hip ratio will ever get there, perhaps my shape is just fundamentally unhealthy.

Suspect I will be back up a bit tomorrow as yesterday was a bit of a weird day and I hardly ate anything.

Holiday monday, going to jab before I go and click count for 12.5mg as the surpression is a bit much on 15mg and I want to enjoy some food!

Had to buy a new bikini and new shorts as the ones I bought last year are too big!

Need to dust off the sewing machine and alter a few things too.

Hip to waist ratio - that's one I find hard to achieve. I've got skinny boy-like hips, and a non-existent bum. When I'm fat my waist is bigger than my hips.

I am sort of square/rectangular in the middle of my body - ribs and hips at the same place, almost no inward curve for my waist. I'm never going to have the kind of curvy body that @Blondeshavemorefun has.

It's kind of like BMI (which works for me). These measurements work for some, and not for others. They are all artificial suppositions. As are 5 a day, or 30 plant based products per week.

You are hungry, and you are still struggling to eat all your calories.

So what can you learn from this particular phase of your journey? That it's OK to feel a bit hungry, it's OK for your stomach to rumble? That you organise and plan so that you have the right kind of snack available?

Don't get over-worried about the future. You are doing fine now.

Today I was up early to take dgc out to a local farmers market autumn event. I had no breakfast (usually fine) but I then spent 90 minutes standing near places that were cooking bacon and sausages, and hot apple pie, and pumpkin and cinnoman lattes... [salivating] I had none of them, but when I'd deposited dgc back with their parents and I was in the supermarket I bought crisps to eat on the way home. Really I should have planned ahead and taken something nice with me.

I know. Amazing. Thank god we did in 2024 before the price hike

and yes it’s fine for tummy to rumble but it does at 7/730. Wants breakie !

or I’m feeling hungry as tea fine is coming but you are right. I know I’m ok. I don’t need to eat 4 biscuits /crisps snack etc - I wait till meal time

Yes I think I may have to abandon waist to hip. I'm top heavy, my hips are fairly small, I carry weight on my stomach and boobs. I also have a short waist, so not much space for it to go in.

If BMI and waist to height are good that's a massive improvement.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2025 11:54

I need to waist to hips . What does it have to be? And how do you do it?

Good afternoon from Fuerteventura. Hello and best wishes to all. 12th October. Jabbed 10 mg yesterday after 8 days.. Good suppression for 8 days. Feeling a bit sick today. Ate only 2 boiled eggs with couple of ryvitas at 2 pm. Despite bad back I have walked an average of 14000 steps each day, approximately 50 miles in a week. Trying to walk after a meal.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2025 15:33

Great you have suppression at a lower dose

tummy rumbling again. It’s silly. I will have a 100c snack as roast dinner isn’t ready till 6

So I brought a coat/jacket type thing from asda in a mens small.. get me with the small size.. fucking amazing!!!. Mens small but still, it's on the label. Ha.

Done the height to waist and hips to waist thing.

So height to waist I'm OK, hips to waist I need a couple more cm to be in the green section, so I do need to lose that few more lb off me.. I'll see what tomorrow's weigh in brings me..

FurForksSake · 12/10/2025 20:41

Is jab day (day 8) but I haven’t jabbed. I took a bit much last week and I’m still very suppressed and I don’t want the nausea. I’ll jab tomorrow, but back to 12.5 and not the 15ish of the last two weeks.

FurForksSake · 12/10/2025 21:39

Well done on the small @morbidcuriosity that’s a milestone!

Little autumn pic from my walk today for those that are struggling to get out and about 🧡

FurForksSake · 13/10/2025 20:21

Oh @owlyboo thanks for sharing, looks gorgeous!

I injected 12.5 today, and ate sushi and maltesers for lunch. Balance. I had physio and it hurt and was a tough conversation about how I can’t walk, can’t stand and can’t walk down stairs and it’s going to take six months to relearn how to do that properly but I need to in order not to scree things over even more.

Constipated again but i don’t want to take my lactose as I have hydro tomorrow. I’ll take some after.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/10/2025 21:31

Sorry physio hurt

walk looks lovely

owlyboo · 13/10/2025 21:35

@FurForksSakei hope you find some relief soon Flowers so tough! glad you enjoyed the pic. It’s definitely suddenly gone darker today I think! I was walking at about 3pm and already starting! I definitely recommend a suppository if you get desperate, instant relief. I had to use them a lot when pregnant!

thanks @Blondeshavemorefundefinitely lucky to live near such lovely walks. I hate having to get in the car to walk!

Someone (i think on this thread - blondes maybe?) recommended the aldi frozen Thai prawns. Had them for lunch yesterday, so good! Not especially high in protein but a super quick and easy lunch combined with some microwave rice. Had nothing else in the house I fancied and no chicken or anything that I wanted. Definitely will buy again!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/10/2025 09:57

Me yes I have them a few times a week with rice

FurForksSake · 15/10/2025 12:23

afternoon!

how are we all doing? I did too much physio and hydro yesterday so I’m on the sofa for the foreseeable. I’ve started the Christmas stash and I am so far managing to resist it all. I’ve had some cottage cheese with pineapple for lunch and I’ve got casserole in the freezer I’ll have for dinner.

we are going away over half term, for me it will just be a different place to sit on a sofa! But I’m beginning to think about food and what we are eating. I’ll be having a bit of a treat week as it’s my birthday, but can’t do the usual holiday long walks and exercise to counteract it. I’m considering looking for a pool so I can do my hydro exercises while the kids swim.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2025 22:21

I have eaten so much today

huge breakie
steak and cheese dumplings and veg
pudding
tuna an cheese jacket
crisps
malteasers
more crisps
choxoate buttons

😳😳😳😳😳
