We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

Thanks @Azuresky68 I've just done the same.. had £9 of points so used that and joined their plan. Says pending, should be OK as was on it anyway and I've done the verification stuff already..

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/10/2025 19:44

I don’t think I have any points from them. Last one was aug

FurForksSake · 02/10/2025 20:09

I had £9 worth, which I didn’t use for my maintenance payment 😆

went out for lunch today; I’ve gone up to 15mg and half my lunch came home in a box. I ate it for dinner and struggled to finish it! It was only a halloumi wrap but I found it so filling. Randomly craving sugar but not enough to eat any…

I think you might have points...worth checking. My last order was August when I got 3 pens

where would they be?

If you log in there is an item on the menu that says member points or similar.

Timetochange24 · 03/10/2025 00:20

I'm really confused about how oushk maintenance works now. If I try to sign up to taper down it wants to charge me £5... but what's the price for the rest of it?

Is there any benefit to a maintenance plan instead of just reducing the dose myself?

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/10/2025 08:15

I don’t think so @Timetochange24 and esp when others do cheaper for free

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 03/10/2025 08:20

WWJ and I’ve lost again and back to 10.4 ffs

i just can’t eat anymore tho hungry by day 5/6 or feel more hunger. Not sure how to explain but I’m struggling to eat 1800

i might even treat myself to the posh Aldi maccy cheese at 800c one day 😂

so back to 7s loss

problem is there is no way i can atay
at this if not on mj

i couldn’t hold it at 10.10 years ago

first world troubles I know 😂😛

See how you feel as you taper down though @Blondeshavemorefun (if that's what you want to do). You will have made huge changes to the way you eat over the last 14 months and a lot of that will stick.

FurForksSake · 03/10/2025 22:55

I guess it’ll be a bit of trial and error to find your level of you struggle not taking it, you could always start spacing doses out when you get to 2.5.

are you noticing much difference with pain?

My other thought was could you add in a couple of protein shakes to up your calories a little to help matters?

Motnight · 04/10/2025 09:31

I took would be considering tapering down @Blondeshavemorefun. As @FurForksSake says, it might take a little while to find the right dosage for you.

Motnight · 04/10/2025 09:33

Have been reading this thread and been happy for everyone's continued victories but haven't really had much to say. Have had a week of family celebrations, and also felt very hungry, so I know that I haven't lost weight at all. But that's ok. Will weigh again next week.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2025 11:42

@Timetochange24 I do want to taper down and I am feeling more hungry on 7.5 so god know what will be like on 5

@FurForksSake hips def notice the diff more. Ankle not so bad - so that may just be where I have severe arthritis

imagine the pain if I was hauling round 2 mini blondes on my shoulders. I struggle to carry one at 3.5s - let alone 2

tbh amazed I used to stagger up the hill as if someone gave me 7s or 44.5kg to carry I wouldn’t manage it

i struggle with 6/8kg at boot camp

i have ordered some more of the protein shakes i like off amazon to come today so will try and have one of those daily

@Motnight I am taping down. 15 to 10 to 7.5 which I have just started so will do maybe 2mths on this and then try 5

ive read so much about weaning slowly is better then cold turkey hence doing slow

plus have 3 pens in fridge

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2025 16:40

For goodness sake. I only buy when on offer so £12 so £1.50 each

wouldn’t buy them when £20

Interesting how we're all different. I'm short and relatively inactive so my TDEE calories are around 1300. That's quite difficult to spread across 3 meals so I often have brunch and dinner. Now that I've got used to not having breakfast (most of the time) I don't find it hard. Today I promised dh bacon and eggs and french toast. He was wandering around looking hungry at 9.30am, I was still way off being ready for it.

I'm doing pretty well maintaining on 2.5mg, although I do notice myself feeling more tempted by sweet things. Last week I had an inexplicable desire for liquorice allsorts, and yesterday it was maltesers that were calling my name! I'm just trying to notice these things and see how I react to having them around. I bought the malteasers and had a few yesterday, and a few more today. Still more than half the bag left. It's quite a test of will power not to mindlessly eat the rest... even though I don't need them, or really want them at the moment.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/10/2025 14:02

Where I lived off 1200 to lose weight and some days tough but generally ok once which had shrunk

now I have another 600 we’ll 640 to be precise as mfp says 1840 a day I do eat like a queen but do struggle to eat it all every day
