We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

I found a post on Reddit that seems to confirm 0.72.

im doing a 15mg dose as my golden dose, so once every five weeks. I am finding that on my 12.5mg weeks it’s harder than before I started that. Not sure why. I just wanted to give myself a boost week, but I’m not sure it’s not better for me to do 15mg for a month to get the last 3-4lbs off and then revert to 12.5.

It sounds as though you and I would both be better doing a month of 15mg to shift the last bit and then moving down to maintain

FurForksSake · 23/09/2025 13:09

im considering that to be honest, injecting every seven days, doing 15 for a month and then carrying on with 12.5 until I’m ready to start tapering.

ill do that this week I think and just go for it. I’ll use an insulin syringe and do the 0.72

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 13:57

Well I only got 0.65ml out of my pen this time so it is a step up dose. I'll start my 15mg pen next week.

Hopefully there will be some good deals before I need to order my next pen!

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 14:12

Thanks again dear ladies for help and support 😘

PoemsForTea · 23/09/2025 17:17

@WorriedRelative Ive done the same approach - went up to 15mg to finish quicker and in 3 weeks I have lost 5 lbs which is what I lost in the last 5 mnths I think 😆 I'm a stone from healthy bmi , not that im arsed about that, but another 1/2st would do I think. I dislike the suppression but needs must for a short time

PoemsForTea · 23/09/2025 17:22

@Azuresky68If I have a hungry day I have extra bran flakes in my fruit and yoghurt and I eat extra turkey & edam 😆
2 slices turkey with half slice of Edam rolled in the middle of each seems to satiate me with few calories and decent protein and fibre.

PoemsForTea · 23/09/2025 17:26

Sorry I've been a bit absent- had my lovely old girl put to sleep a week ago and am a bit lost! She was 14 and my 2nd (clingy) child 😆 Child number 1 just turned 18 and now noone needs me so a little lost for now! Need to make some new patterns and routines

owlyboo · 23/09/2025 17:53

So sorry for your loss @PoemsForTeaits so hard having to make that decision. I lost my boy during Covid and had to have him put to sleep and I still miss him now! It’s so difficult just give yourself time and some new routines will definitely help take your mind off it.

I’ve upped my walking again now the kids have gone back to school and it’s definitely helping my mental health! Podcast on and hiking those hills!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/09/2025 18:27

@PoemsForTea so sorry for the loss of your lovely pet xx

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 21:19

@Blondeshavemorefun thanks for the info about the chicken. I stocked up on a few Aldi ready meals from your suggested list . Tonight I had spinach and ricotta cannelloni with added green beans. It was really nice, inexpensive and felt like a naughty treat!

poppym12 · 23/09/2025 21:45

I'm sorry to hear that @PoemsForTea, it's heartbreaking when we lose them. I've said no more animals ever for me as I can't stand the pain of losing them.

Thanks all for kind words ❤️

FurForksSake · 24/09/2025 18:34

That sounds yummy!

I got down to my sort of target and saw 8st7 today.

and then went for a smear, told I had a growth and need to have it looked at and removed, cried and ate some minstrels. And now dh is picking up chips as I’m in too much pain to even microwave jacket potatoes.

I’ll not be 8st7 tomorrow, but that’s ok.

Azuresky68 · 24/09/2025 20:07

@FurForksSake sending big hugs ❤️ xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/09/2025 22:07
