We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

Oh dear...jabbed 12 5 last Wednesday. Really feeling hungry on 1250 calories. Not felt this hungry before on the jabs 😱

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/09/2025 22:07

Oh @Azuresky68

what have you eaten today ?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 22/09/2025 22:07

FurForksSake · 22/09/2025 22:32

Can you eat something high volume low calorie? Lots of fruit and veg, popcorn, fat Greek yogurt, 10cal jellies? Might help and I think it’ll settle again. Also drink lots and suck on a sugar free sweet to keep yourself going?

I’ve been more hungry recently now I’m spacing out my doses. It’s hard!!

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 08:30

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/09/2025 22:07

Oh @Azuresky68

what have you eaten today ?

B 2 poached eggs on 1 slice toast 260 cals
L - not sensible! Greek yoghurt with frozen strawberries with collagen powder made into Smoothie plus small McVities Gold biscuit at hairdressers (95 cals) Total 255
D Ready meal - tuscan pork meatballs with pasta
With loads of cabbage 600 cals
300 mls skimmed milk in coffee and tea 105 cals
Then because I was hungry I had 1 x weetabix
Total 1272
This wasnt a typical day as I don't usually have biscuits and don't usually have high cal ready meals but it was reduced in price, but not calories! I am so bored with eating chicken and salad!
I have felt like comfort eating since my back pain has increased.
Using the calculator for my weight and height with moderate activity I walk a mininum of an hour/up to 2 hours 3 to 5 times a week
I can eat 1500 cals to maintain and to lose it's 1000.
So yesterday I was below my maintenance as I was aiming for 1000 cals until my holiday on Sunday.
What worries me is that I felt so hungry on 12.5 and my aim is to go down to 5 mg, which is a bit more affordable.
I haven't really been hungry while on MJ so I guess it's something I need to get used to again.
Sorry for the long post..just really value your input on this.

Thanks for replying@Blondeshavemorefun and @FurForksSake

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 08:33

Forgot to say it's Tuesday now and I have woken up hungry again! It's jab day tomorrow with 12.5

Thanks for those suggestions 😀 I used to eat a lot of sugar free jelly when on SW. Might get some for an evening snack. I remember whizzing it in with yoghurt to make a mousse! I do have some sugar free sweets in a draw from Aldi too. Will try them

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 08:41

@Blondeshavemorefun I am going to stock up on a few Aldi ready meals you recommended as I am bored of cooking at the moment.
I usually have an omelette for brekkie.
What did you have midday/lunch when on 1200?

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 08:48

How is everyone doing? Sorry struggling to keep up here!

Weight loss has slowed down, that's to be expected close to target and lower than I have been for decades. I am pretty happy where I am but ideally would lose a little more. I was thinking about 4kg but that was a pretty arbitrary number picked based on bmi 23. I may not stick to it, but currently I would like a little more off my waist and tummy and to be more reliably a size 12.

Last dose of my 12.5mg pen today. I have a 15mg in the fridge but with the price hike I was thinking I may click count and stick at 12.5mg to save money and make coming down easier. But maybe going up is worth it to shift those last few pounds. I'm not sure!

Azuresky68 · 23/09/2025 09:15

@WorriedRelative I would definitely recommend 15 to shift the last bit. @Blondeshavemorefun advised me to do that and I wish I had listened..STS for ages then a couple of weeks on 15 did the trick to get me to goal. Been under 24 BMI first a while now and hoping to maintain but getting hungrier now I am going down the doses...just been posting about that! Good luck 👍

FurForksSake · 23/09/2025 10:05

I went to see the new physio today, he’s told me my back is a major issue and needs to be worked on before he can work on my hip. He had me standing in front of a mirror standing on one leg (spoiler alert, I can’t) but I was staring at my thigh gap 😆😆

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/09/2025 10:20

@WorriedRelative I would go to 15 to shift the last few lbs - if only @Azuresky68 listened to me she bobbed up and down for months bless her till did 15

@Azuresky68 I will check my mfp diary but I do have a lot of
ommlette and low calorie like 300 cal meals

I think the lamb hotpot is just under or around 300 and the shepherd’s pie and fish pie and then I have with a lot of veg. I also have the protein high protein chicken that is in the freezer that are Aldi they are thin chicken steaks cook in about 10 to 12 minutes in the air fryer and really nice and I have those a lot or a cup of soup which is around 90 cal

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 11:15

Thank you @Azuresky68and @Blondeshavemorefungood to hear that experience. I'm currently not hungry but finding it a bit easy to eat a bit more so moving up probably makes sense. Hopefully it will mean I can move down sooner.

I am currently 24.3 bmi and 23 seems a good goal. My waist to height ratio is good now at 0.48 but my waist to hip is still 0.91 which is unhealthy so there is work to be done still. Hopefully at 23 everything will be within healthy limits.

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 11:19

Oh and how many ml would I need to get from my golden dose to make 15mg from a 12.5mg pen? Would it be 7.2ml?

Not sure what I will get out of it but if I am going to move up I may as well do it now.

FurForksSake · 23/09/2025 11:26

It’s 72 clicks isn’t it, so 0.6 is 60 clicks ylu need an extra .12ml 0.72ml? Sixty clicks is a full dose

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/09/2025 11:29

Noooooo 7.2 is over a dose

.6 is a dose

.1 will be 2.5 from a 15

OP posts:
MabelSpan · 23/09/2025 11:44

@Azuresky68 have you thought about making vegetable soup for lunch? I make a big pot of basic veg soup which I divide up and freeze, then add something different to each portion to change it up, so I might add some barley, or beans, lentils, even potates. I also change up the seasoning; simple veg, or add some spices or meat, its a good nutritious filling meal. And of course its a good way to use up any odd bits of veg you have knocking about.
If you have any bread going dry, cut it up into cubes and freeze it to use as croutons, just fry it up with some herbs and add to your soup.

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 11:56

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/09/2025 11:29

Noooooo 7.2 is over a dose

.6 is a dose

.1 will be 2.5 from a 15

I'm using the bonus from my 12.5mg pen. So 0.6 is a full dose of 12.5mg but I am thinking about taking extra to get the equivalent of 15mg.

So I thought 0.72ml which would be 72 clicks would be right?

WorriedRelative · 23/09/2025 11:58

FurForksSake · 23/09/2025 11:26

That's what I thought.

I typed 7.2 but should have been 0.72, my syringe is only 1ml.

FurForksSake · 23/09/2025 12:02

I found a post on Reddit that seems to confirm 0.72.

im doing a 15mg dose as my golden dose, so once every five weeks. I am finding that on my 12.5mg weeks it’s harder than before I started that. Not sure why. I just wanted to give myself a boost week, but I’m not sure it’s not better for me to do 15mg for a month to get the last 3-4lbs off and then revert to 12.5.
