@whyamisuddenlygettingolder I'm getting the same too. Like other posters, I think it's because I'm dieting but also I'm probably not always drinking enough water. I was decorating yesterday (oh the joys of painting woodwork!) and after a long time sat down/shuffling along, I stood up and had to take a second. I've always had quite low blood pressure though.

I hope you feel better soon!

low BP - try drinking more abs increasing carbs a little.

Had prices from Voy 15mg is £299 for existing customers which I think is quite competitive.

it’s quite smart of them - I was considering moving but I’ll stay now.

myladyjane · 02/09/2025 18:10

@tinyemmy I have heard good things re pharmulous and swift dr. Have emailed pharmulous and will share what they say

whyamisuddenlygettingolder · 02/09/2025 18:53

Thanks all - I’m reassured this is relatively common, if unpleasant! Am going to track my food for the next couple of weeks and see if there’s a link I think.

cloudjumper · 02/09/2025 19:07

@whyamisuddenlygettingolder Could you be anaemic? I used to get dizzy spells like that when I was very low on iron, it can have a massive effect on your general wellbeing. Other symptoms were breathlessness, fatigue and, ironically, trouble with sleeping.

whyamisuddenlygettingolder · 02/09/2025 20:06

That is possible - I’ve always had vaguely low-ish iron, never to the point of needing much attention or any kind of treatment beyond a bit of Spatone though. My GP rang (I am genuinely surprised and delighted 😅) and is sending me for blood tests to check iron, thyroid, sugars? I think, and also for an ECG, so hopefully all of those things will come back clear and I’ll just need to be careful about hydration etc.

Thelittlestranger · 02/09/2025 21:06

I was getting this quite a lot, particularly when I stood up after lying down. It stopped as soon as I moved to maintenance. I put it down to low blood sugar and mj - my blood pressure was fine. Could have been iron - it's quite low in general but I didn't have any of the other symptoms. It's not nice.

I'm going to stick with Oushk and will opt to move to their £15 per month plan from next month. Assume I can just do it...

Have enjoyed my exercise this week. Run on Sunday, leg day Monday, Hilly run today and upper body weights planned for tomorrow.

MJalltheway · 03/09/2025 07:18

@whyamisuddenlygettingolder I have had the same as well, just a couple of weeks ago I was getting quite a few spells so I consciously increased my calories and upped carbs a bit and it's been fine since. I always have low-ish blood pressure anyway but it's been much lower on MJ/since losing weight.
I have a home blood pressure monitor (all my family have high blood pressure and I got one of their old ones!) and measured mine as 98/54 when I was having the dizzy spells.

So today is my youngest DC's 15th birthday 🎉 Not sure I'm old enough to have a YOUNGEST who is 15, but there you go, somehow it has happened 🤪
Not much planned for the day, working this morning, family over later and takeaway for tea.

And today also marks me hitting the 25 kg lost mark and my lowest weight since having that child 15 years ago!

HeidiLite · 03/09/2025 07:24

@MJalltheway I'm sure you were just a very young mum :D Happy birthday you youngest MJ!
Congrats on minus 25! Can you imagine, you were doing everything while carrying an extra 25 kilos?

MJalltheway · 03/09/2025 07:28

It's crazy to think of the strain we were putting our bodies under, isn't it?
how was your gym session @HeidiLite ?

BreezyPeer · 03/09/2025 07:49

Morning 🌄 losers!
@MJalltheway a 15 year old youngest one! It's crazy how fast time goes. Hope you have a lovely day with him amd family amd takeaway 😊

HeidiLite · 03/09/2025 07:49

Gym was fine, I used light weights (for me) . Ab track had too many crunches, was not too comfortable, so will need to find another one for tomorrow's class that I can demonstrate better. Very glad to be back though.

Autumn colds have hit full on here, DS got ill over the weekend and now DH and DD both have sore throats and snotty noses. Fun. Kept DD home today - she's a sturdy one though and will probably be just fine tomorrow. Hoping I don't get it, have a work trip next week (Sweden) and traveling when fighting a bug is really annoying.

PenelopePoweringOn · 03/09/2025 07:51

Morning everyone, I’ve lost 3st according to my planner today, back at 13 stone 5lbs or 84.8kg. I had lost 3st according to my planner two weeks ago but we won’t mention that. 🤬 I’m still feeling hormonal effects so I’m 🙏 that this blip goes away, I’m not eating much.

Feeling a bit 💣 like I’ve blown everything up this week and my positivity seems to have deserted me. Best get it back as I’ve got an interview tomorrow and another one next week. Next week’s work would be perfect for my semi retirement plans. This week’s work probably more than I want to do but I’ll probably take it for the time being.

Viewing another house this morning, I’m considering finding something to rent instead and taking a breath for six/twelve months.

Have a good Wednesday everyone 🌻.

BreezyPeer · 03/09/2025 08:05

@HeidiLite Well done on the gym! 🤞 you don't catch the bug!
I love Sweden ( although I've only been to a couple of places) my friend lives there, I usually visit once a year but she hasn't been well enough for visitors this year.

@PenelopePoweringOn good luck with the interviews.

I am sending positive vibes for the house viewing! But renting, especially when you are making big changes, can be a really good stepping stone xx

2025istheyeari · 03/09/2025 08:11

Hope your curry was good @BreezyPeer !

Love the pet photos! My sausage is currently sitting under a blanket on my knee hibernating. Can’t say I blame her, it’s been miserable here this week!

@MJalltheway happy birthday to your youngest, sounds like a lovely day,

@HeidiLite hope all the bugs bugger off soon and that you don’t catch it. I’ve got similar and am feeling a bit rubbish, so taking it easy. I do seem to have lost a pound though, although official weigh in not until the weekend. DS last day off and we were planning to do something but the weather is horrible and he has an interview at our local amazing pizzeria later so a bit of interview prep and building his confidence!

@PenelopePoweringOn you’ve had a lot going on, hope the viewing is good and good luck with your interviews! I’ve got a couple of headhunter calls and a first interview tomorrow too 🤞🏻.

Jins · 03/09/2025 08:41

Morning Losers!

I seem to be very slow to get going this morning. Need to get one of @PenelopePoweringOn’s bombs under me. So many tedious tasks to get on with and just can’t be bothered.

My call with Oushk is at 11.10 so I need to jot a few notes down about when my pens should run out vs when they’ll run out based on my dose spacing suggestion. I know that they are a bit tied but I’m hopeful that they won’t object. Would have preferred a paper trail to take elsewhere but it is what it is.

Have a great day all!!!

CurlsandCurves · 03/09/2025 08:42

Morning losers!

dropped off the thread a bit, but I have been lurking. Absolutely love all the pet pics! Adorable.

10mg, work being full on plus my first period in 2 months has absolutely floored me. I can eat during the day, but my appetite in the evening just goes, I can’t eat. Need to try and get something as soon as I get in from work if poss. I’m off this morning and have had a good 10 hours sleep so I feel loads better. Weight training at 10!

DGonMJ · 03/09/2025 09:24

Morning all. Still waiting for my email from Oushk to confirm they’re dispatching my pen for a Friday delivery.

Interested to hear how your Oushk maintenance call goes @Jins and whether they’re allowing more flexibility in gaps between pens or longer dosing schedules. @Thelittlestranger also interested to hear if they’re still doing the £15 flex plan when other providers like Swift are offering to supply to those on maintenance as long as they reorder within 12 months without charging a monthly fee.

Glad to hear you made it safely through the class @HeidiLite

@PenelopePoweringOn renting for a bit definitely better than feeling pressured to buy the wrong property. But who knows, the right one may turn up soon!

@2025istheyeari good luck with the headhunter calls and interview! 🍀

@MJalltheway congrats on hitting the 25kg loss milestone🏅 and congrats for getting your youngest all the way to 15 🎂

Finding the 6am wake ups difficult this week, but I think it’s because I’m due my period. Learnt to recognise that the days leading up I get tired, hungry and feel ‘meh’. Not helped by being back to work. At least I know this isn’t the MJ dampening my spirits. Did a mid-week weigh and I’m bang on 58kg so have gained 50g since Sunday - woohoo. I did some yoga yesterday and the side planks were tough, my shoulders and lats ache today so I reckon that gain is a bit of inflammation. Or my period. Or the massive three course dinner I had last night. 😂

Jins · 03/09/2025 11:23

Quick update. Absolutely fine to dose every 10 days and sort of ok with a 14 day break between pens although would prefer 10.

So that gives me a legitimate 40-44 day break between pens and will take me to Xmas before having to order a new one. It narrows the gap between the number of doses I have in hand and when I need to order again at which point I’ll be ordering 7.5mg

Consultation was with Linda who is lovely

cloudjumper · 03/09/2025 12:17

Happy Wednesday all!
First day of school here, yay! I’m enjoying a nice, quiet day at home now, uninterrupted by someone yelling at the Xbox, asking for food or entertainment 😆 Got an interview this afternoon, though, so not completely lazy!

Weigh day today, no movement either way. I think I’ll start counting calls/observing macros again for a bit, really want to shift those last 5 kg to my GW asap!
Then I will need to ask you all about maintenance dosing - I’ve put my head in the sand about it until now, but it’s looming on the horizon 😇

HeidiLite · 03/09/2025 12:25

Good luck with interviews!
my recruiter also came back and invited me for next round, but not yet sure with whom.

Thelittlestranger · 03/09/2025 15:40

Back to my lowest weight again this morning. On the Renpho too, so I'm going to use them from now on. Makes sense to me, to be at that weight in the middle of the week, and 'heavier' after the weekend. That's perfect, as I can flex between the two. Let's see if I can keep it up as I go down. Now jabbing 2.9mg (Monday) so interested to see how I feel come Sunday and if it differs much from leaving 10 days between the 5mg jabs.

Today I've had breakfast for a change with a smoothie which has my collagen powder, biomel powder, kefir and also some protein powder. A whopping 50 grams of protein and about 450 cals. Lunch was salad, chicken and egg. So feel like protein goal has been hit and I'm full!! I need some autumnal lunches...

DGonMJ · 03/09/2025 15:54

Phew! My Oushk order for this Friday has finally been approved. I put this in before the price rise announcement, but the delivery is 7 weeks apart.

Got momentarily confused by the ‘dose increase and price increase’ post they just sent. But was hoping it wouldn’t apply to me as I’ve ordered the same 5mg dose, and for October I’ve ordered lower doses. If they end up asking me to pay the new price for the October pens I may ask for a refund and move to either Pharmulous or Swift.

Cabinfever20 · 03/09/2025 16:08

@ MJalltheway. Haha - try having an eldest of 48! That really makes you feel your age!

SteveHarringtonsHair · 03/09/2025 16:58

Afternoon all and well done to all those who are losing or maintaining or just keeping on.

I’m at my lowest weight for a very long time now. My waist is now 28 inches which I can report was last seen when I was 16 (I’m 52!).

I’ve lost 68lbs in total! Part of me still wants to get to 126lbs and celebrate a loss of 70lbs but there’s another part of me who’s completely delighted at my current weight and knows there’s no real need. It would purely be about the numbers.

I took my last dose of 10mg this week. Titrating down to 7.5mg from next week. I’m really interested to see how my body reacts.

@JinsI’ll definitely be keeping this thread updated. It’s been inspiring to say the least and a very gentle way of keeping myself accountable.

@discovyou’re right everyone does just get it. It’s been so supportive to read others experiences.

@DGonMJI’m still not weighing regularly which I think is the way forward for me. I’ve decided that as long as my 29inch waist jeans continue to fit and now with an inch to spare, I’m happy.

@mince3point14159265thank you so much ❤️ that’s really very kind to you to say. I’m definitely staying on this thread for maintenance. I’m really interested to share the next part of the journey with you all.

Good luck to us all for the weeks ahead.
