I still have 10lbs to go and was planning on sticking to 7.5mg but as it’s become so slow to lose now (6st gone) I’m thinking of moving up to 10mg to finally get to goal. Like @etchedinstone@flobbynomore@HippoPortlyMouse I don’t feel it’s working the quite so well in that I can binge if I want to (and most worrying is that I want to!)

I always planned to be a long term user but I had thought it would be lower doses and that I could taper down. Will see when I get there.

Hi is anyone still on here? I’m now trying to maintain and taper down. 8stone 5 llb lost and feel great. I’m so grateful for being able to lose this weight and feel so much fitter.
maintaining is a different beast and I find it more stressful than losing weight to be honest! Anyone else?

HumBumBum · 04/05/2026 21:01

Hi, im still around and didn’t quite make it to maintenance yet. A huge stall for me, but happy with where I got to so it’s hard to get the motivation to get back onto the Programme and stop eating chocolate! In all honesty my addiction hasn’t gone, it’s just been hiding for a year or two.

Hi I am still here but after 7 stone loss I had to make the switch due to the price I haven't put any on but struggling x

Hi everyone - I’m still maintaining. Have twice now (6 months apart) done a single one off 2.5 pen when I felt the weight creeping up (half a stone on each occasion). It works really well for me, although it’s frustrating that I’m not managing totally drug free. But then, even that extra half stone is lighter than I’ve ever been as an adult.
Focusing a lot on building muscle and fitness, which is so much easier with 3.5 stone less to carry.

SybillaB · 07/05/2026 11:02

I restarted on 2.5 then went up to 5. Not had any weight loss at all, but I’m still at the weight when I stopped before, so no difference really. I may go up to 7.5 to see if that kickstarts more weight loss but cost is putting me off.

Well hello everyone, I'm back.

Been off since the start of the year. My new 2.5mg pen just arrived and I am starting tonight.

Off to catch up with the thread.

Literally me too... psyching myself up to begin again as tbh I've enjoyed not being on it but recognise that it works really well for me

Bit of news here. Found gallstones on recent ultrasound for something else, had to stop as can't get another prescription.

Another pharmacy might prescribe but I am a bit unusure. Was managing well on a low dose of 5mg up to Christmas, but since then have put on a stone :-(

Can't really afford mounjaro anymore anyway so would need to be wegovy, and unsure about paying for that if it doesn't work as well.

Bit gutted overall, but I still am glad I lost the 5 stone with MJ. I thought I had been careful and lost weight gradually but still got the gallstones, so that might be something to be aware of.

Looking back I did tend to fast and have long periods of not eating between meals so I wonder if that contributed.

the gallstones were not there on a previous ultrasound in 2022 so have been a recent thing.

Anyway hope all are doing well.
