Medexpress also dont allow, the bundles are not of the same dose so you buy 3 different doses. Perhaps thats the loop hole? Ive ordered in a way that i can start titerating down.

I think they’ve been a bit hysterical no? Lives with the CEO crying and having to stop due to over emotion, encouraging buying of 3 pens at once. All within 3 hours of the announcement. Not v professional behaviour

I got the same information from Medexpress and will also be transitioning to Wegovy as I will no longer be able to afford Mounjaro.

oushkers - you have to have an Oushk order number to join. They’re all fighting with each other over buying three.

A prescribing pharmacy shouldn’t panic. It’s not a good look.

I had ordered one 10mg pen for delivery next week and then ordered 2 more (I'm at goal and just starting working on maintenance). I've had emails confirming that the orders are approved and will be delivered so they are probably working through them all. Hopefully you will hear soon.

I’ve had the confirmation email, but nothing else. I’ve got my weight verification call tomorrow (again) so hopefully some movement after that!

Some pharmacists have been advising people not to switch to Wegovy if they can afford to stick with MJ for the time being. Wegovy's production isn't set up to take on all those coming over from MJ in one hit. People might get their first dose of Wegovy but find there are then supply shortages of those for the second.

You can dislike them all you want, but at the end of the day every pharmacy did. You’ve got pharmacies jacking their prices way up, shutting down orders etc. she said what she genuinely believed to be good advice.

I’m surprised they’re telling people to move straight from 12.5 - 15mg MJ to 7.2mg wegovy when it’s not even approved for use in the UK yet.

I don’t think they are. The general guidance seems to be that decisions regarding the move to Wegovy will be made soon.

@LifeOfAShowGirl I was talking about this post, but re-reading I’m hoping the poster meant wegovy in general not the 7.2mg

They're not. They're saying don't panic, there are options, speak to us for personalised advice as you may not need to start on bottom dose. It's an individual thing.

I'm with MedExpress, and haven't had any emails about the situation yet :(

A new much higher Wegovy dose won’t be that far off MJ price wise anyway surely? It’s already £270 for 2.4 with Oushk. The price point ramps up a lot in the higher concentrations.

If everyone behaves like you there will be no stocks left for anyone else but hey at least you are ok.

@vl888 I got my MedExpress email last night, basically saying they don’t know how much it’s going to be yet but they will hold their prices for as long as possible (whatever that means!). It mentions the risk of possible shortages, options to potentially move to Wegovy and lays the blame squarely at Lilly’s door.
Have just done an order so we’ll see if there’s a delay but I’m sticking at 2.5mg for the moment anyway as it’s working well for me

Does Wegovy even have a bonus dose?

I really dislike this attitude. The official advice from at least two pharmacies was to stock up.

It is not ethical behaviour on any level.

I placed my order yesterday afternoon for 10mg but it is still awaiting clinical review :( I guess they are probably overloaded with orders.
