Lots of very useful discussions going on on the old thread, so I thought I would continue it!

I ordered a 10mg pen from the Family Chemist on 15th August. Just had an email of a refund notification 😔

I am a long standing customer of theirs and they have been useless this last week. Sold all their pens to whoever came first and gave no updates to their customers. They have had no stock showing since last Friday but when I mail them told me they expected some at the end of this week. I guess there was no stock delivery. Hope it doesn’t leave you unable to continue taking doses.

I ordered from my usual place on the same day, and they delivered, so I have a full 10mg pen left, and a stone to lose 😬 So I am grateful that I managed to get one.
I feel very sad for those left without. What an absolutely nightmare this whole thing has become 😔

MistressRoydon · 22/08/2025 13:39

Another Oushk maintainer - delivery received no problem and staff replied quickly when I asked to switch to RM as couriers unreliable here and switched me over without any issue. I know there are folk who are don’t like Oushk on here but FWIW I have always found them pleasant and efficient.

bugalugs45 · 22/08/2025 14:11

I may be repeating myself , can’t check the whole thread , but had a delivery today from Farmeci & my order from IQ doctor has been despatched & should arrive tomorrow .
Both 12.5 pens , both a smidge under £200 , approx £35 more than my last one before all the madness descended. But I’m grateful that I have 2 & what I will do after that remains to be seen !
No idea if either of those companies still have stock or what the prices are now but I was a new customer to both and both seem to have come good …. So might be worth a try if anyone still looking x

Just to confirm for those in a bit of a spin - Oushk delivery arrived today as expected. No bother.

£100 more for 12.5 but £110 more for 15 when they’re the same list price is a little shocking!

Terrible experience with thwm.
They seem incompetent.
First thwy took my money and i got email, saying approved.
Log in and …waiting for review .
Log in later …being packaged .
Then another email ..rejected .
Totally a bad experience in every way .
Would never use them after this anyway

Fatbride · 22/08/2025 16:56

I'm surprised at the Med express prices, I really thought they'd be a bit lower. I'm on 15mg now and am really unsure what to do going forward.

amanjaro · 22/08/2025 17:02

I have been struggling to find anywhere that has stock and will let me move to them on maintenance (15mg). Anyone else having this? Thankfully today Juniper have had some stock and let me reorder. Honestly the best service I've had so far as I've had one pen with them before. It is a subscription but cancel any time, and free smart scales that tracks to their app! It's a bit pricey (they all are now) but using a referral code helps.

Anywhere else people have been able to successfully order from?

Choux · 22/08/2025 17:03

The fact they are the same list price is what I find shocking. The 15mg is 20% more drug than the 12.5 mg. Pharmacies need to charge more for each higher strength pen to deter everyone just going for the higher dose and then using it for more smaller doses.

I’ve been with cloud for months and they’ve been OK, but I’ve been unhappy with my last 2 deliveries (so predating the price increase)

Phew that's a relief! I've been easily maintaining on 7.5mg since March which has been costing £164.00 a month from Cloud. I was already planning to drop to 5mg anyway, so actually I'll barely be paying anything extra at all.

Snozzlemaid · 22/08/2025 18:14

Bolt have just emailed me to say they are unable to fulfill my order so are refunding me.
This was my first order with them so they are probably prioritising existing customers.

QuebecBagnet · 22/08/2025 18:25

I see medexpress have also said prices may go up before Sept if they run out of old stock before then.

Choccyface · 22/08/2025 18:37

Please note: Our current plan is to move to the new prices from the beginning of September. The starter dose of 2.5mg will remain at £149 while our stocks last. After that it will increase to £179.99.

if that’s the case, why as an existing patient/customer am I still waiting 8 days later for 2.5 to be reviewed? Will be gobsmacked if it doesn’t end up at the increased price

QuebecBagnet · 22/08/2025 18:55

For other dose strengths, if current supplies run out before September, they will return at the new prices once back in stock.

I got the impression the 2.5mg may stay at the old price past Sept 1st as long as they have old stock. But there is a danger with the higher doses that the price may change earlier if they run out of stock.

StrikeForever · 22/08/2025 16:40

Yes, I got that too. £309 for 15mg is just unaffordable now for me as I've been losing very slowly (approx 1kg per month with 15kg still to go so £309 x another 15 months is crazy, never mind any maintenance I was previously considering) so I don't think I can justify it any more.

It would amount to around a further £4,635 to potentially get to target after spending roughly £1,400 so far to lose 23 kilos. After losing the £40 per month discount when they stopped the referral codes, it had already become very expensive.
