Lots of very useful discussions going on on the old thread, so I thought I would continue it!

I do think that unless I get some sort of concrete communication from Oushk today I’ll be switching away. I’ve always been willing to pay the more expensive prices because of their communication and customer service but that’s gone out the window this week

My oushk order isn’t until end of next week, I had assumed that they weren’t double selling what they had and had allocated their stock to the orders so that email meant they couldn’t fulfil new orders? I’ve moved one order back to October as they requested people to do to free up slots. I’ll be cross if I then don’t get my orders because they took my order and money and then sent out the stock to other people.

From what I can tell their “we’re only selling what we physically have” was a bit of a porky, they have actually sold what they had in stock and then what they were expecting from their wholesaler. So as orders have arrived with lower stock than expected, it’s thrown a spanner in the works. Not entirely sure how their wholesaler is getting away with underselling to that extent but! It stinks

2nd has gone to wrong area and being rerouted, so probably won’t see until tomorrow now.
3rd still sitting as order approved.

I think you are right and it will cause all sorts of problems with many really pissed off people.
Not sure what they will do about all the orders they’ve accepted to be delivered in the future at current price, if they will honour that price, refund or just ask for more money.
I know this has happened at lots of other pharmacies but they said they would only sell what they had and it seems like they have actually taken more orders than they have stock for.
I think quite a lot of people will leave them once this all dies down and we know what everyone is charging.

at one point they did say they’d allow delayed orders to be honoured at the old price.

id happily delay my order of two pens if it meant I actually got one!! But the way I’m looking at it now is I’ll have to place an order in mid November for December and then I think I’ll be switching to be honest

I ordered (as a new customer) last week from Pharmacy2U and MediExpress after being unimpressed by Oushk's handling of this whole fiasco - telling people to panic buy 3 pens etc. MediExpress delivered the next day, and Pharmacy2U delivered 2 days after I ordered, so have been really impressed with both.

Also thank you to @CoverMeInMarmalade for posting the first thread about the price increases last week, I know a lot of people are having supply issues now, but your post allowed a lot of us to get ahead of the curve by getting registered with alternative pharmacies before they stopped taking new customers.

It's over a week and not approval yet from Bolt. Or IQ Doctor. Farmeci has finally dispatched.

The order I did with Medexpress - honestly no idea what's going on there.

So four orders and one pen just in time before I run out.

I honestly think the rest might be cancelled now as they are all out of stock.

Aa small defence of pharmacies, they were likely selling based on their existing stock and their standing orders from wholesalers. The wholesalers have subsequently restricted the orders leaving many pharmacies in the lurch. This appears to be on direct order from Eli Lilly to reduce the amount of meds on the market before 1st September.

I suspect pharmacist in smaller outfits like Oushk haven't been getting much sleep of late.

It's shit and Eli Lilly are responsible, unfortunately many people will struggle to get pre-september prices now as a result. The meds will be readily available againt from the first week of September but of course at a much higher price.

Yes it's totally crap and unfair. The worse part is that been zero lead time to come off a drug that's going up to what would the equivalent of 1/4 of someone's rent or mortgage. If you think what £300 would buy in essential items like food, school uniform, rent, car servicing it's no tiny amount.

The warning window of change was cruel and leaves some people screwed to taper off. I now have a pen thank God so have some breathing space to choose to taper of when the new prices are announced if I want to.

It's 2000% just about profits and not about health. How can you justify someone running out at say 15mg then being priced out the market with no warning and no way to get another high dose pen? How do you taper off 15mg when all you can buy is 2.5mg?

Nope, it's crap. Definitely that sits on the manufacturers head. They could have asked what the suppliers current orders was. Forfilled them and pre warned that you could buy one pen at your current dose but that's it. Or buy to taper off guidelines. But no. They just put out a noose and kicked us off the trap door.

It makes everything they say about tapering up and down sound like utter BS. Because they know lots are going cold turkey right now.

My issue is they said in the live to buy as they were only selling the stock they had their hands on. As it goes, that was untrue and it’s a little disappointing

The thing is, everyone I ordered from had stock showing at the time I placed the order..med express still has stick showing. But I week later I don't have that pen

Yeah I think everyone’s up the same creek without a paddle. But my issue is suppliers who said they did have stock who have lied

Thanks. I’ve seen that but a friend placed the monthly order (existing customer) on Sunday and has had no news at all.

So basically my question was not correctly worded as they claim they have stock but what we want to know is whether they really have stock and are fulfilling their orders from existing customers. It’s Cloud Rx, are Lotus really approving and Cloud sending the medication? Friend only has one last dose for tomorrow.

Seen this. I can’t believe the state of the community at the moment. Just have to cross my fingers, and if not, hope I get my refunds during my holiday so I can order to be at the house the day after I get home

I placed a 12.5mg order on Oushk just as the craziness was kicking off and it's come today (the same day I picked). Looks like they are fulfilling orders reasonably on time.
