Lots of very useful discussions going on on the old thread, so I thought I would continue it!

@Bluefloor & @PringlesTube IQ about £50 more expensive since yesterday for same dose? I’m now thinking just to jump to 7.5…

maximc · 15/08/2025 12:11

I lost 5 & a half stone on MJ, have been maintaining but was so reassured I could go back to it. If I do start to regain will look at Saxenda, as a European manufactured generic is available, or Mysimba, the tablet that is basically an anti addiction medication. What gutting news this is.

Not sure about the other doses, I’ve been on 10mg for a few months now and it’s still showing as £164 today, same as I’ve been paying for months (always use a discount code though too)

@LifeOfAShowGirl

7.2mg of wegovy? Any news on this being available soon in uk?

MontysMissus · 15/08/2025 12:13

Anyone else here with Phlo Clinic? Radio silence from them so far, and nothing on website.

usedtobeaylis · 15/08/2025 12:14

Email from WePrescribe. Discount codes 'temporarily' suspended. But you can order 3 pens if you're an existing customer 🙄

Mounjaro Stock Updates
On Thursday evening, we paused orders for one of our weight management treatments, Mounjaro, due to high demand following a recent announcement of manufacturer price increases.

We have now re-opened for limited orders (maximum of three per customer), but stock may change quickly over the weekend.

Our next delivery is expected early in the week of 18th August.

Next day delivery is currently unavailable, and all discount codes have been temporarily suspended.

These steps are to ensure fair access for everyone. Stock will be replenished soon, and we expect it to be readily available again – but for now, we’re taking careful measures so all customers can be catered for.

If you’re considering switching to a different treatment, please speak to us first. It’s not always a simple swap, and a consultation will help confirm what’s safe and suitable for you.

None. This has been trialled but hasn’t been submitted to the relevant authorities for approval in Europe and the UK, as far as I can tell

Anyone heard from Cloud Pharmacy? They are usually really fast with order approval but I ordered my next 10mg pen yesterday before I’d heard the shit had hit the fan and still waiting.

Annoying. Is the 2.5mg good? Ozempic 1mg did nothing for me after a while.
MJ has only worked :(

I did panic this morning, but Curate have sent out another email explaining how to transition to Wegovy. So that's what I'm going to do. Not going to worry about it now, nothing we can do 🤷‍♀️

Useful info thankyou. Which dose would I require I’m using 5mg Mounjaro.

eliayd · 15/08/2025 12:19

@LifeOfAShowGirlI mean the 2.4mg wegovy any good?

Here’s the bingo card for the faux concern gleeful smug dense dickheads that will be along soon - we’ve heard it all before and we still don’t give a shit what you think.

You need to add another one now. "You'll end up in debt".

vl888 · 15/08/2025 11:46

Ordered my next pen yesterday from MedExpress (1 x 10mg) and its not been approved yet. Starting to panic as need it by Thursday next week - I also go on holiday on Friday so if it isn't delivered before Thursday it'll be left outside to get warm :(

I’m in the same boat. I ordered my pen on Weds, it was approved but has not been despatched and now I’ve had an email saying there are delays in despatch. I go on holiday on Tuesday so it will end up being wasted and I am worried I won’t be able to get another due to shortages.

I’m just at the start of my Mounjaro journey and its only my second pen. I know people want to stockpile but its having an impact on those of us who are just ordering normally. I was feeling so positive about this but now feel very fed up.

I'm still waiting to be approved by Asda. I submitted my photos on Monday night so today is day 4. Feel like i'm going to be rejected :( if by some miracle, I am accepted, there's probably not going to be anything in stock for me! 🫠

Same

They have taken my money though

Lots and lots of nasty comments on the Oushk page now regarding the advice last night to stock up. I think that advice was misplaced but came from a place of genuine panic.

Maybe worried about shifting their stock once the prices go up 🤔

@LifeOfAShowGirl @eliayd they’ve submitted an application to the EMA for approval.

Interesting, you would choose these instead of e.g. wegovy, why is that please? How are things going off the meds, out of interest? thanks!

No I don’t think so. Hira was on a live yesterday and said it to ensure people maintain a supply while the decide whether to stick with Mounjaro or go across to Wegovy.

Really? My Google search this morning said they hadn’t. It’s the main reason I’m looking to stick with Mounjaro

Maybe. What dose are you on?

RhaenysRocks · 15/08/2025 12:35

I have a 5mg already set to be sent on my regular subscription on the 24th and I ordered an extra one today from my regular supplier but the extra one cost me more as it was in addition to my subscription. So hopefully that's 2 on the way and I have a new one sitting in the fridge so that's 15 weeks (with bonus doses) taking me most of the way to xmas when, all being well I will be close to target. Just have to sit tight and see. I hope they do sort this out - can you imagine the glee on the AIBU threads about "haha, you'll have to get off your fat arses" 🙄

I've been ordering from Asda for over a year and their approval time in days for the 15 pens I have ordered has been -1,2,0,0,1,1,4,4,1,3,0,2,5,3,4 - last one was July, so a shift to slower approval times recently anyway. I ordered another one yesterday - I'm expecting a 6 day+ approval time this time round...we'll see!

As far as I am aware no word from them on the price increase and related issues yet.

It’s the same price that I ordered at, but I was able to use a discount code which they have now revoked.
