Lots of very useful discussions going on on the old thread, so I thought I would continue it!

I think if this thread carries on being a bun fight then MNHQ will just pull it.

Everyone is different, with different values, financial status and spending ability.

But right now we’re all concerned about what will happen with the medication going forwards. So maybe skip over posts you find bragging or gleeful and ignore the trolls so we can keep a thread with discussion and updates from pharmacies when we have them.

I'm.on mounjaro but spending money you don't have, charging the cost in your credit card is ridiculous. I buy if I can if not well, it will take longer and it will be harder to lose weight but I won't spend money I don't have. I can't really understand how so many of you are mums and being so irresponsible of spending that kind of money you don't have! I have a friend like this, complaining their children have to share rooms and she is always selling in vinted her children clothes or clothes she has been gifted but then spending money she does not have ( she has a credit card) on mounjaro, lavish holidays, botox etc.. grow up.

I’m 26, I don’t have kids, I can spend my money how I want to.

Just looked at MyMedical trust pilot reviews as was toying with trying to order from them.

The recent reviews are not good. This predates Thursdays news.

If anyone knows anywhere with 12.5 Iin stock, please share.

I'm only going to give this head space until lunch time I think. Then just park it mentally.

Ah, really? Reddit seems to rate them so highly, so I was considering a switch to them if needed! Oushk have said they hope to have 12.5 and 15 back in stock in the next week, so maybe keep an eye out there?

Also an existing customer - I ordered at noon on Thursday. It was approved Thursday at around 5pm. It was dispatched Friday and out for delivery today.

I haven’t done and not going to , but I was kind of mooting as a possibility if I could order a few on a credit card before the increase , then pay them off monthly as if I was buying MJ regularly…as I said not doing it, but I can see the potential logic - as long as people pay it off!

Fatbride · 16/08/2025 09:53

@NotPerfectlyAdverage Chemist4u and super drug seem to have stock. Just remember to use the super drug discount code.
ETA- WLNEW30 30% off for new customers at superdrug

Orangesandlemons77 · 16/08/2025 09:54

People could try Voy, you can just start the subscription and get a discount and then cancel, it's easy and pretty easy to order and they are quick.

I've a discount code for them over in the discounts area on the main Voy discount code thread if anyone wants it.

Whether they’d do it or not isn’t the point for me. This is such an important medication and peoples lives and happiness is relying on it. For some the disruption in stock levels is going to mean they have to take a gap and for others the prices mean they have to stop entirely. That’s a rubbish situation and it only takes a little empathy not to post about big stock levels even though it’s probably a relief to those that have them.

Edited

It’s very concerning isn’t it.

LifeOfAShowGirl · 16/08/2025 10:06

Btw, for anyone concerned, look up stoozing- it’s what I and many others do. Long term 0% credit card, pay the minimum and save the different in payments into a high interest savings account. Mine is a 4.5% account so I’m earning a decent chunk extra this way

I haven’t heard anything from Pharmacy2u about my
order. I’m hoping that as I ordered 10mg I’ll be okay but worried that those on 12.5 and 15 will be offered 10’s instead and that will cause stock issues for lower doses as everyone moves down a dose. I hate uncertainty 🥴

Iv ordered from pharmacy2u before twice and I dont think they are they quickest at getting back to you or for approval, even before all this.

So I wouldn't worry to much. Its also now the weekend and I'm not sure if they even work on weekends so I dont expect to hear anything from them until Monday now. I also ordered a 15 from them yesterday morning and haven't heard anything but that's not abnormal from them IME.

Boots did , and you get 25% off for new customers. The more expensive providers will have stock as everyone flocks to the cheapest providers first .

I ordered Thursday when all this nonsense started (around 11am). It got approved same day and is being delivered today.

However, I probably got my order it at the beginning of all the mess so has been quite quick.

Maybe give it another day or two to get reviewed.

Why on Earth are you 'friends' with someone you clearly despise? Why do you choose to spend time with someone you like to ridicule and disparage?

I ordered at 8am yesterday (15mg) & it hasn’t been approved yet. I got an email at 7am today saying

“Due to increased demand, our doctors currently review orders within 1-3 days. After this, it will be passed on to our delivery partner.

So hopefully won’t be too long

LifeOfAShowGirl · 16/08/2025 11:25

Oushk have confirmed that all orders placed will be honoured - even if it’s for more than one pen. So that’s reassuring

OP posts:
Inyournewdress · 16/08/2025 11:49

I don’t think Boots would allow anyone to buy a pen other than the next one they need at any time. Could be wrong of course, someone will probably come on who has! But basically they say after you have done your third dose, contact the pharmacist online with details of when you last injected and your current weight. So they want to know where you are at before they issue each pen. Last time I contacted them I was asking about going up a dose and they were like…based on what you lost last month no, we think stay where you are due to muscle loss or gallstone risk. Now I know I lost most of it at the start then stalled, but they are quite on the case which is good really. They couldn’t have that oversight if they issue ahead of time, at least not for higher doses.

Maybe she hasn’t heard that obesity is a pretty big cancer risk factor in itself! I would be tempted to say something like, gosh it sounds like you probably don’t have much information about metabolic health…or it sounds like you’re not very supportive of people trying to improve their health.

I think if you really need Mounjaro for health reasons then it’s something that really benefits your family. Can’t comment on the rest but sounds like a great friendship 😂
