I’m on a plateau too @RussianDoll76 . And I’m really close to goal weight (although I’m happy where I am).

It’s very frustrating as I’ve gone up to 7.5mg. I don’t think it’s even food noise or lack of suppression. Those still seem to be working.

im just plodding along!

Crinklecat · 31/10/2025 09:22

Yep same weight as I was 2 weeks ago. Will up my dose to 7.5mg on Sunday and try and eat healthier again.

RussianDoll76 · 31/10/2025 11:40

Thanks ☺️ nice to know I’m not alone !! I know it’s normal and probably a very good reason for it. I class myself as a slow loser anyway so to stop completely is so frustrating.

SecretIrnBruDrinker · 31/10/2025 12:01

Still plodding downwards. And still doing the Me360 scans. In a month I've lost 2.8 centimetres off my "seat" and 2.6 cm from my stomach. The rest is less impressive and my overall surface area hasn't changed at all. Still not at the point of paying for premium to compare to my June figures.

MyFitnessPal has stopped synching with my Renpho scales and therefore with my Garmin watch and I don't know why.

Sogfree · 31/10/2025 18:47

Really not just you @RussianDoll76 I've been hovering around 10st for over a month. I just can't secure a place in the 9s.

I'm currently at 7.5 (dosing from a 10 I bought in the August panic buy). I'm going to stick there for the next month, as the suppression is still high.

Another NSV that's annoyed me - trying to buy new jeans is a special sort of hell 🤣

ThisNeedsToWork · 01/11/2025 01:11

Hi Everyone! I dropped off the chat at the end of summer as I wasn’t sure I’d be able to continue after the price hike. Left it late to order so not only could I not manage to stockpile but my order for the 7.5 pen wasn’t fulfilled and a 5mg was all I could get. So I’ve ‘coped’ by injecting 3.75 every 10days. It’s been tough but without a doubt, still massively helpful as although I’ve slipped up and had cravings for junk, it’s still significantly less that it ever was before. I’ve given in here and there but coped for the most part. My chocolate craving hasn’t returned though which I’m very pleased about. I actually had some last week and didn’t enjoy it at all!
I’m losing about a pound every other week so nothing amazing but I’ll take it. My new 7.5 pen arrived today and I’m going to take 5mg every 8 or 9 days and see how I go!
Very well done on all your amazing loses!

FoxRedPuppy · 01/11/2025 09:45

@ThisNeedsToWork a loss is a loss, even a slow one!

I have finally moved! I might have previously mentioned that due to some other medication I run on the side of constipation most of the time. And then 7.5 I think made it worse. I skipped a day on the meds that cause it (it’s not massively dangerous and sometimes I just have to every few months) did an enormous poo (sorry, not a poo troll!) and I’ve lost!

SW 88kg
CW 66.5kg
new GW 60kg.

my original goal was 65kg as I remembered being that in my youth! Now I’m almost there I might go down to 60kg, which gives me more of a buffer to maintain. That would be a BMI of 21, so not unhealthily skinny. We’ll see.

ThisNeedsToWork · 01/11/2025 09:56

Thank you @FoxRedPuppy!
Well done on your recent shift! My goal is 9st 5 which I think is just under 60kg. I’m currently 10st 9 so I’m getting there slowly. I do think there’s something to be said for losing slowly like maybe my body adjusts better. Whenever I had dieted previously, I had lost a lot of weight very quickly which may have been my undoing. Also, if id been lifting just 1lb every other week, I’d have given up but the jabs and lack of food noise has helped me not to do that. Everyone talks about summer but I’m most looking forward to dressing up for Christmas parties and nights out!

Good luck Everyone!

RussianDoll76 · 01/11/2025 10:37

It’s so good to see how this works for everyone .
well done @ThisNeedsToWorkthe fact you’ve dropped down and continued to lose is amazing it’s good to see and must be reassuring for you that you have that strength to cope with cravings when it’s time to maintain.

@Sogfreeyes I feel your pain I now have no butt skinny calves but some hardcore thigh fat that’s dissolving slowly 😂. I have found 2 pairs of jeans that work and I am wearing them to death !

@FoxRedPuppy congratulations 💩
My ex dh is on the jabs too he has similar issues . He rang me a few weeks ago to tell me after an hour in the loo he’d lost 8lbs 😂.

Well I think even nutracheck are feeling sorry for me as today after weighing they have put my weight down as 10 stone 14lbs 😂 . It was nice to see the 10 but it’s like getting a vertigo for taking part when you wanted a medal 😂😂.

NSV for me I went out dressed up in a Halloween costume felt amazing and had a great time . Lots of compliments which felt good so 10 stone 14 lbs obviously suits me 🫣

FoxRedPuppy · 01/11/2025 10:43

love that Nutracheck somehow clocked that in it’s algorithm!

It will happen @RussianDoll76 . You might even lose a big amount in one go!

I defo have a flat arse now, I’m working on my glute exercises! Still prefer slim with a flat arse though! Because I’m naturally hourglass, it does look odd as it’s still relatively wide, but completely flat 😂

ThisNeedsToWork · 01/11/2025 12:39

Re jeans-I am loving the stretchy Halara jeans. Find them super comfortable and very flattering on my new flat bum! Still need to work on thighs though! 😬

Sam187 · 01/11/2025 14:57

RussianDoll76 · 31/10/2025 09:07

Weigh day and this plateau is coming up for 4 weeks now I’m bouncing between 11 st 2 lbs and 11st can’t get into the 10’s . Counting cals exercise and keeping up water and protein. Getting very frustrating have moved up to 5mg but although suppression is there not as strongly as in the beginning , food noise is definitely back . So feeling a bit miserable that weight won’t budge and having to fight the food noise every day too 😏. Shouldn’t be so miserable as I am at a nice size really. I really wanted to lose this extra stone as a buffer really for maintenance. I am still overweight bmi wise I should be 7 stone 4lbs to 9 stone 4lbs to be healthy bmi according to my height but would look to gaunt. Anyone else struggling with a plateau, think I am at week 19 🤔.

@RussianDoll76 I struggled with a plateau of 4-6wks (although it was with 3 holidays during that time). I upped to 6.25mg and found that helped. Might be worth considering?

Also living in Halara jeans from Vinted or Llama leisure leggings as their sizing is 14-20 so covers all bases.

Quay · 01/11/2025 17:06

WK 20 and just taken the GD from 7.5mg pen. Current weight is 60.9kg (9st 8lbs). I’ve noticed that this last month weight loss has been very slow as I seem to stay the same weight for 4-5 days at a time. I’m still dithering over whether to bite the bullet and use my 10mg pen next time or split into 2 x 5mg. I then have one 5mg pen left.

I’d really like to stop MJ after my 2 pens have been used but am worried about whether the food noise will come back when I do stop.
Has anyone dropped from 7.5mg to 5mg? if so did you notice the difference with food suppression?

fancytoes · 01/11/2025 20:46

Anyone thinking of stopping soon or has stopped? I started on 23rd June so I’m on week 19ish.

SW: 12.6
CW: 9.11
GW: 9-9.5stone
5ft 1inch
BMI: 25ish
current mg: 3.75mg from a 5mg pen.

I have another pen in the fridge so could keep going until just after Christmas.

Hair is rapidly falling and I'm starting to think I could go it alone. I’m working out and weight training too.

Anyone recently had success?

My goal is to get to 9 stone and allow half a stone fluctuation.

FoxRedPuppy · 02/11/2025 08:38

Hair loss is due to the weight loss, not specifically the MJ. It does apparently come back. It’s a reaction of the follicles to weight loss. I’ve read a few things about it. So if you are still going to be losing you might find it doesn’t stop.

I’m not stopping yet and plannng to maintain for a while with a very slow titration. I really want to do everything I can to ensure this weight stays off.

healthjourney · 02/11/2025 09:24

1lb off for me this week taking me to 13lb to goal and just 10lbs to a healthy bmi bracket. I've been obese or overweight since I was a teenager so I'm pretty excited to reach a healthy weight soon.

Im 100% committed to getting there but I'm also looking forward to maintenence. It's not so much about coming off the meds, I'm just looking forward to not being in a deficit. I've been a bit ill the last 2 weeks with a cold/virus and I think i should have tried to increase my calories more, it's felt slow to recover and I wonder if that's due to being in a calorie deficit. Im also really looking forward to strength training when eating more and seeing the impact that has on my strength and muscle growth.

Ideally I'd like to get to target early in the new year then reduce my dose to allow me to increase calories but take it slowly to make sure I can maintain.

ThisNeedsToWork · 02/11/2025 15:06

Re hair loss: I have a friend who had a gastric bypass about 6 or 7yrs ago. She was told that her hair loss was directly related to her protein intake and that low protein resulted in hair loss. She was also told that it happens 3 or 4mths after the lack of protein. So, her hair was fine until a few months after the op when it fell out in clumps and became really thin. This corresponded to the period just after her op when she couldn’t eat much at all. It got better after a while but has never returned to what it was. However, she genuinely eats so little these days and is so restricted that she cannot be getting anything like the nutrients she needs. She eats junk too. I remember one day she ate nothing except a packet of Wotsits and a bar of chocolate. She has a constant dickie tummy too and is regularly sick. So glad jabs are available to stop me being tempted by that. She did lose over 10stone though but I’m not sure she’s really much healthier!

Focusispower · 02/11/2025 19:17

I have stopped @fancytoes. About 12 days since I last jabbed. Appetite is back. I’m going to have to calorie count properly and work out what my maintenance calories are - I think about 1700.
I’ve been wondering if my old provider would take me back on a maintenance plan….going to see how the next few weeks are but not ruling it out.
Today is the first day I’ve felt really enthusiastic about food in a long time. Ate a big roast dinner and crumble with custard, Back to it tomorrow.

I met a friend this weekend.
Old friend i don't get to see very often (live a few hours apart).

I knew she was on the jabs (and she knows I am).
Omg, she's doing so, so we'll! I'm so happy for her.
She's still got a way to go, but she looks frakin' amazing.

Her arms, her thighs, her neck.

This is going to be all of our stories soon!

RussianDoll76 · 03/11/2025 08:03

So this morning I saw the 10’s
it was 10 stone 13 lbs 6 oz 😂 but after a month of nothing I will take it !!!!
( probably be gone again tomorrow)

FoxRedPuppy · 03/11/2025 08:29

@RatherTardy in bet she thought the same about you! We often notice it more in others than ourselves.

RatherTardy · 03/11/2025 08:51

Absolutely @FoxRedPuppy
It was all very mutual.

There was a photo of us pre jabs, so we recreated it and put them next to each other.
We both look very noticeably different.

I feel ya! I am stuck between 213lbs and 216lbs for the last 3 weeks and i am SOOOOOOO over it! I definitely still in a deficit and i'm just waiting for that whoosh to happen. I still have 3 stone to loose so i need to get this moving before the bank account drains! I'm on week 20-21 now

HAIR LOSS ANSWER! (maybe)
Hi all, thank you for all the responses on the hair loss post i shared. I got my bloods done and everything is great except my iron levels are 40 (range is 30-200) so i'm eating a big juicy steak tonight and upping my iron. I wouldn't be surprised if that's contributing to the hair loss because i'm generally vegetarian and i'm not eating nearly enough greens lately.
