I noticed we were almost full (again!) so took the liberty of starting thread 5 now so I don’t get confused on nightshift and can’t find you all!

Congratulations to you all on the losses! So happy for you all.

Lovely sentiment from @FlorenceNightshade about us all prioritising our health...so true.

Having a lot of really positive chats with my little goblins about healthy eating, what foods do for us...it's been a really great step forward for us all as a family.

Much love...hope those with little ones are surviving the hols!

@BerfyTigot @lifetheuniverseandeverything42 @FlorenceNightshade @Gingercar Great losses all of you, it's so nice to see so many of our May's cohort making this amazing progress 😍

I bought new Renpho scales this week and I'm so excited for them to arrive so I can get some more body stats. Love me numbers 😅

I also went on a bit of a recruitment drive when I was back home, with my parents and my sister...the weight problems run in our family so when I told them about the injections they were all amazed as to how they work (they haven't heard of it before really).

In my happy mood I told them I'll fund it for all 3 of them if their doctors prescribe it for them. So I now got a lodger for my spare room to fund the injections for all 3. But seeing them all excited and having hope that after years of struggling with obesity there is hope for them makes it all worth it.

We took a family photo where you can see all 4 us in the full size so hopefully when we take one next summer we will all be half the weight we were this year 😅

You are so kind!

Kipperandarthur · 29/07/2025 15:05

Good to hear how everyone is getting on.

I'm at a 2 stone loss at 12 weeks which I'm pleased about. Add that to the 1.5 stone I did prior to starting WLI and I can now see a difference.

Have bought two tops in a size smaller (in the sales) but am really holding off clothes shopping until further down the line.

Am about to start another 5mg pen and then I think I will increase after that.

ElsieJay · 29/07/2025 15:54

Darn it , almost finished a long message , scrolled back to check a name and lost the whole thing …..🤬🤬
So congratulations to all the losers , please forgive me for not mentioning you individually 🙏. Some great NSVs also , especially ( I think, I’m not risking scrolling back a second time )@chergar who can now wear her engagement ring again 🥰.
Helping out with holiday childcare for son’s partner’s 9 year old daughter and trying to intersperse local trips/ activities at home with a few “days out” .
This morning we’ve stocked up on snacks, extra fruit and a few treats so here’s hoping I can resist the unhealthy options. Thursday’s outing involves a coach journey and a picnic lunch.
The appetite suppression hasn’t kicked in as quickly this time, but the tiredness is beginning to pass, thankfully , and the change in the weather has helped too.
I weighed on our home scales today, IF they’re accurate then I’ve lost 4.25lbs since my first jab of Phase Two on Weds of last week . It’s a big if, though ! Will go by the WW class group Workshop scales on Friday.

Onwards and downwards !

Gingercar · 29/07/2025 16:07

Im struggling a bit today. Just had two tiny pieces of white cooking choc while doing cakes for my cafe. Haven’t had choc for 10 weeks! Im due my jab tonight and am full of a cold and tired after getting mum moved in. Plus we thought there was a hiccup with the house sale this weekend (hopefully sorted), so it was a bit nerve wracking. But not like me currently. The cafe is dead today, which doesn’t help!

MyScaredCat · 29/07/2025 19:01

Hi all.
my weigh day is tomorrow so we’ll see the holiday damage then. I jabbed yesterday morning after 10 days.
im about to force myself to eat dinner now. I haven’t eaten a bite in 24 hours. Not MJ related. I’ve discovered the grief diet. Our wee cat was knocked down yesterday and I don’t think I’ll stopped crying since 😭

FlorenceNightshade · 29/07/2025 19:05

Aww @MyScaredCat how awful I’m so sorry to hear that! Take care and be kind to yourself

@MyScaredCat i’m so sorry! That’s so sad & such a shock ! Sending hugs 💕

Seahorsesplendour · 29/07/2025 21:44

Lovely catching up with all your posts .

Having a hugely busy & stressful week which is not helpful! so I’m not holding out much hope for losses as stress causes chaos!

away on holiday next week & just can’t wait!!!

Apprenante · 29/07/2025 22:15

Sorry to read your news @MyScaredCat

Merluzzo · 30/07/2025 05:32

So sorry to hear about your cat @MyScaredCat , what an awful shock 💔

MyScaredCat · 30/07/2025 07:17

Thank you all
it was such a shock and I’m not sure how I’ll cope.
still haven’t eaten, can barely drink I feel so sick

weighed in 3lb down this morning after an all inclusive holiday where I ate and drank it all. But this is shitty. I just want my baby back

notgonnafail · 30/07/2025 07:42

So sorry to read your news @MyScaredCat they really do hold our hearts so tightly. Sending you the biggest hugs.

I fear something similar must have happened to my gorgeous baby girl cat, as she's been missing now for almost 3 weeks. I am missing her terribly, and the not knowing for sure is horrible.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 30/07/2025 08:41

Oh @MyScaredCat I'm so so sorry. It's such a shock. Big hugs to you and @notgonnafail

That’s really sad. I imagine how upsetting that must be.

MyScaredCat · 30/07/2025 09:01

@notgonnafail fingers crossed your baby girl comes sauntering in looking fed x

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 30/07/2025 09:57

Sorry to go to wli talk briefly, but when I injected on Monday I noticed I had some of the liquid on my leg when I pulled the needle out, and now it's Wednesday and I'm really hungry. I don't know if I should do a partial dose or just write the week off.

notgonnafail · 30/07/2025 10:00

@MyScaredCat I hope so too.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

@DidILeaveTheGasOn Probably better to wait it out as you don't know how much might not have gone in - you could end up feeling very rotten if you do too much.

Apprenante · 30/07/2025 10:06

@DidILeaveTheGasOn I almost always have a little drop of liquid on my leg after injecting, no matter how long I wait before withdrawing the needle and however carefully I do it. It doesn't seem to make any difference to the effectiveness.
