I have ordered a 5mg pen.
My 2.5 pen is 60 clicks, so I may transfer to 3.75mg which I think will be 45 clicks and see how I get on with that and slowly increase to 5mg.

Good luck! I took my first dose this morning so we are in the same boat. Fingers crossed for no/minimal side effects and good losses xx

Life has not been kind these last few days, hence I've only eaten a sandwich and salad since Tuesday.

I'm not sure if the injection has lessened my desire to eat or life has. Either way, I'm down 5 pounds, so every cloud and all that.

I'm really impressed by lots of your successes. Well done all.

That's not good lovely. I'm so sorry things have been tough and hope things are improving. But, without being a nag you must prioritise eating. Even if you can barely stand to eat, try pouch yoghurts or smoothies with some protein powder xx

I cannot decide what to do when I'm on holiday. I will inject this Friday and am then away the Monday after. Id be due to inject again on the Friday we are in Italy. Do I skip a week or take the injection with me? Do I take my new 5mg pen or take the 2.5 golden dose? I can't make up my mind. Id probably rather not travel with my new 5mg pen.

Hi everyone, I thought I'd join as I did my first injection today (2.5). I'm really excited but nervous that I'll be disappointed if I don't have much success! I've not eaten much today so wondering if it's kicked in already or a bit of a placebo effect. I need to lose 3 stone. Hope everyone is getting on okay!

@sogfree please don’t starve yourself. Do keep eating even if just light stuff and maybe take a multi vitamin so you don’t become deficient. Don’t forget hair loss can happen if you lose weight rapidly

@Tinybirdie I’d do the golden dose. Leave new pen safely in fridge

I've done the 4th jab but I clicked it as far as it would go but the 1 wasn't quite in the window, it could have done with another click.

I realise they've gone through product development with every iteration of single use pens to 4 jab ones to whatever and have settled on this as the easiest, most user friendly etc but jeez, I'm not enjoying it one bit.

@Tinybirdie you can go up to 2 weeks between doses. I have a similar dilemma and have decided to leave my new pen in the fridge and it will be 12 days between doses for me after my hols.

W1D4 and not noticing much really. Trying to get myself into diet mindset but had hoped the jab would do more to help my willpower. I go on a driving holiday the day after the 5th jab would be due, so wondering whether it’s worth the risk increasing to 5 or not if 2.5 isn’t suppressing me. Don’t want to get SE stuck in a car for hours! I am 100kg+ so wondering if 2.5 just isn’t strong enough at this size?

To those wondering what happens to the pen after 4 doses. I'm with Asda (although we all probably have the same pen) and I took my 4th dose last night and was curious as to what would happen if I tried it for a 5th - it wouldn't click much beyond say 6 or 7 clicks and then locked so there's no way to get another dose without buying a syringe to extract it.

@MissMogs I didn't notice much on week 1, but week 2 was a massive difference. It's still getting into your system, give it time you might notice a change after your 2nd jab

So I was out last night in Liverpool (anyone who has been on a night out in Liverpool on a Friday night will know how messy these can be) and didn't roll back home until the sun came up 🙊

I ate reason well yesterday and maintained my calorie deficit, had four drinks (whisky sodas) and a couple of shots, and then switched to water as the sweat was pouring off me and I don't really like being drunk even pre mounjaro. I also danced (headbanged, it was a rock night) for hours. My feet and legs are very tender! Met some very cool people there too, we talked and sang and had a ball all night

Nervously weighed in around midday and still have a loss! So I have it my head now that I can still let my hair down now and then and it's not the end of the world. So long as its not all the time I think.

So despite feeling a little delicate today I'm in a great mood 😊

😂 oh god me too! Stressing about not being able to eat delicious food because of the suppression and then stressing about eating too much delicious food while on hols 🙈

How’s your willpower generally @Tinybirdie ? If you think you’re not going to go mad eating everything in sight I’d miss a week (if poss move your previous injection to just before you go?)

My willpower is generally zero 😀
I think ive decided to take the golden dose with me. And that let's me decide when I'm there and not regret leaving it behind.

Ive not 💩 since Monday despite taking Movicol daily. So, I have bought the big guns. Bisocodyl. I don't have anywhere to go for a few days so think this is the best time for a clear out 😀 I feel extremely uncomfortable. Id rather be constipated than have the skits mind

That’s a good idea. Where are you going in Italy? I love the place (used to live there).

I 💩 granola bars at the minute because I’m shoving so many seeds down my throat trying to top up my protein!

Sicily this time. 5 days in Catania and 5 in Palermo. I love Italy! We've stayed in both Turin and Bologna in the past couple of years. Love them both but, as touristy as it is, Venice is my absolute favourite! Where did you live?

Just taken my first dose - after delaying for a few days and trying to build up my courage to take it. I know it works as my husband has been on it for 4 months and so far lost 2.5 stone but still taken me a few days to get to the point of doing it myself. Hoping I don’t get any side effects 🤞🤞
