I decided to try 5mg, stuck with ordering from same provider Simple Online Pharmacy on Sunday, approved Monday and delivered Tuesday. Anyone else moving up? If I have side effects then I may drop down as I have been mostly OK on 2.5mg. This Friday I take my last dose. Tonight I had brown rice, marinated tofu, mushrooms, grilled pepper and steamed broc. My tummy is very gurgly I think with wind. Bit uncomfortable. 😬 I am vegan so used to a bit of wind but its rather noisy 😄 and I think definitely it is the medication protesting 🤣 Welcome all newbies and congrats on the baby Bonjourno! Also, congrats to all who have stuck with it despite issues and to those with losses. 👊

Just want to echo what others are saying… we will have little wins sometimes, and other times bigger, whether that’s weight loss or understanding more about our relationship with food. Let’s keep at it and and the days will turn into weeks, and soon we’ll have developed new eating habits. Here’s a revelation.. who knew brown rice was so tasty?? Genuinely enjoyed it with chicken for my dinner 😊

Ooh I love brown rice! Been a convert for a while it’s much nicer than white rice!

Gingercar · 18/06/2025 23:06

I haven’t quite found the love for brown rice yet. It seems chewy and takes ages to cook. But I will persevere!

Roxietrees · 18/06/2025 23:16

Has anyone done the second week’s jab early? I’m W1D4 and have no side effects and very little suppression. I’m due the second jab on Sunday morning. Will it be too early/risky for side effects to do it tomorrow (Thursday) morning? So tomorrow will be the 5th day

Gingercar · 18/06/2025 23:21

Hmm. You haven’t even done a week. I’d give it chance to settle down. For what it’s worth, I haven’t had side effects or much suppression from any of the 2.5 injections or the 4mg injection from the golden dose. But I’ve still lost 13lbs.

MadlyTrudyDeeply · 18/06/2025 23:30

I'm half an ounce from having lost a stone since June 1st. An entire stone! It doesn't feel or look that different. I did another me360 and can't see the change there either. But I'll take it as a win.

I've ordered 5mg for week5, after a lot of deliberating - but whatever miracle has occurred at 2.5mg is plenty, I'd be happy with this appetite and lack of food noise for the rest of my life.

Sam187 · 18/06/2025 21:36

You're welcome. Defo cooler today. No heatwave whatsoever.

I'm not far at all, used to be southside too, now I'm Greenock ☺️

👋 waves from Cardonald. I'm heading down to Gourock for a swim next week. 👍

Can anyone remind me or reshare the link for the app that maps your body shape?

Is it Mythreesixty? I saw this mentioned elsewhere

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 19/06/2025 06:13

W2D7 (will jab this eve)
suppression was really strong yesterday - had couscous salad lunch and dinner as really did not fancy anything else. Still pretty constipated.
wondering about 3.75mg as next step up….

I was considering it as I’m the same as you, however I have lots of weekend plans so I’m going to stick with Sunday night. If I wasn’t out all weekend I’d do another jab today

MontysMum909 · 19/06/2025 06:40

@ThisNeedsToWork it’s methreesixty

MissMogs · 19/06/2025 06:41

Thanks for the tip about the water. Woke up today (day 2) with a nasty headache so could be heat or dehydration - though I am drinking loads! Deliberately ate less for breakfast but not sure if I feel any fuller. Hoping to avoid morning snacks!

I think I understand what people are doing for a “golden dose”, but can someone explain the 3.75 to me? I am going on holiday just at the point I’d need a new pen so thinking it’s best to stick to 2.5 to minimise the chance of side effects travelling!

MontysMum909 · 19/06/2025 07:20

Morning June Jabbers 💉💉💉

Week 3 Day 3 and total loss so far 12 lbs

NB after recommending methreesixty I’m a bit confused that chest and waist have gone up. Maybe a comparison aftre a longer time is more sensible.

Amazing thing happened yesterday (at last!!) I was somewhat disinterested in wine. This was one of the side effects I was really hoping for. I think it shows that there is a build up in my system maybe?

I have taken the plunge and ordered 5mg. I decided that as with many drugs my body would get used to the 2.5 and I would not feel the fantastic effects. Would also like to mention that Oxford pharmacy online have been fantastic - no nonsense like (medexpress who I tried first of all and were taking days toook at photos so I cancelled the order ) and same day despatch even with my first order.

Anyway keep the faith weight loss friends - and for those with no suppression especially - keep going and watch what happens weeks 2/3/4 weeks are all different and I’m sure you will get there. After all this stuff is scientifically proven to help weight loss. Trust the science

❤️

nailslikeknives · 19/06/2025 07:23

@Gingercarit may help to steam brown rice. I usually boil it til it seems just done, strain through a metal colander and keep it in that, then place the colander into the pan and over a couple of inches of the water. Keep the hob on and steam for 5 mins or so. It goes much fluffier.

Andrasa · 19/06/2025 08:01

Well, 5lbs lost this week which shows just how bloated I was, as that has to be water weight! Doing a two week no sugar detox as well which is probably helping.

hope everyone is drinking plenty in this hot weather ❤️ I find the injection “fullness” means I also have to make myself drink as I don’t really feel thirsty on it either.

Tinybirdie · 19/06/2025 08:15

W3 d6 and weigh in day. Lost another 2 pounds taking total loss to 12 pounds. Can't quite believe it.
I have also ordered a 5mg pen for my next one. But for as long as I'm getting suppression and loss at 2.5mg, I'll stay on this dose.

BadgerFace · 19/06/2025 08:24

Morning all! I did my fourth jab this morning before the house woke up. Slightly disappointed on the weight loss of only 1 pound this week but some clothes are feeling better and I should not be disappointed by 8 pounds overall in 3 weeks!!

SW 12 stone 2
CW 11 stone 8
GW ?? 10 stone 7 would be fab!

It was interested to see how much liquid was left in the pen after my 4th jab - now I totally get why people use a golden dose. I don’t think I’m brave enough to try but part of me is saying I should order some syringes today and give it a go next week… Which medical retailer have people used?

Suppression worked better this week up until last night so it feels like it’s lasting longer. I’m happy with my decision to stick to 2.5mg for next month although would really like to lose two pounds this week!!

TheMagnificentBean · 19/06/2025 08:57

Day 2 here for me and I really don’t fancy breakfast. I am forcing down some
greek yoghurt and fruit. I don’t even want coffee (last time I went off coffee I was pregnant 😬)

I’m also really tired but that might be because I sleep badly in the heat (and for me
anything above about 20C in the day is “hot”!).

I've got my first group PT session this evening - need to brave because I haven’t done any exercise for so long (except for a bit of swimming). I do know really the PT won’t laugh at me and say she can’t help but the nightmare is there!

Welcome all new jabbers!

latetothepartyweightlossinjections · 19/06/2025 09:06

Thanks for the warm welcome.

@BadgerFace a pound off and your clothes feeling better is great and as you say 8 pounds in three weeks is great! I would love to be where you are in three weeks. 🤞

FoxRedPuppy · 19/06/2025 09:44

W1D3 woke up and wasn’t really hungry- unheard of! Probably placebo, but I’ll take it. Tried to have some protein porridge when I got to office, but it tasted stale so chucked it. Think I might be able to wait until lunch.

And so far I’ve managed to avoid the sweets and biscuits in the rest area!

MsRinky · 19/06/2025 09:56

Morning all, Jab 4 done. Scales were up a bit this morning from a couple of days ago, so officially recorded loss for this week is 0.5kg, 3.8kg in three weeks. I'm so happy about this. I was down about 20kg on my own and had then stalled for literally a year. I dropped a couple of kgs before starting the jab.

Something that is helpful for me is to remember that sustainable loss that hopefully doesn't trigger gallstones or hair loss is not as simple as a blanket 2lbs or 0.9kg a week, it's meant to be no more than 1% of your body weight a week. It's easy for me as I work in metric, but 2lbs a week is only the right maximum goal if you weigh 90kg (14 stone 2). If you only weigh 70kg or 11 stone, you should only be aiming for 0.7kg a week - 1.5 lbs. I know there's often a big drop at the outset due to water and inflammation, but I see so many people with unrealistic expectations being disappointed with really good, sustainable losses.

lw88x · 19/06/2025 10:02

Morning all 😊

Wk2.

Next dose Friday which will be dose 3.

I've just weighed myself and have stayed the same 🫠

I normally weigh on a Saturday morning and I'm due my monthly.

Has anyone experienced a slow loss? X

If you are due your period then you probably have a couple of pounds of water retention going on. Its likely that you have lost a bit of fat but it won't show on the scales till next week.

Crossingeverything · 19/06/2025 10:28

Wk1D1 finally starting this journey with the rest of you, so far not felt like breakfast but could be placebo effect, who cares though. (jabbed last night)
