I’m W1 D4 and apart from odd moments SE have been minimal. Tracking calories is new to me but it’s been an eye opener for how much I was overeating! I’m struggling atm to reach 1500 cals but I think I used to eat that just in a morning. Anyone got tips for increasing fibre? I’ve looked at supplements but there are so many and it’s hard to know which is good. I would prefer to get it from my food x

W1D3. All good so far - minor nausea and headaches to start but all gone now. Woke up hungry for the first time today! But what a revelation to have no desire for sweet snacks or a glass of wine, so I’m very happy about that. Was trying to avoid the scales for a week but couldn’t resist having a look this morning 1.5lb down already! Wasn’t expecting that as I haven’t got that much to lose (1.5 stone) so thought it would be v slow. I’d be more than happy with 1-2 lbs a week, so fingers crossed.

I did my 1st injection yesterday afternoon. Happy to join you all and provide/receive support along the way

I've yoyo dieted all my life and im fed up of being overweight. Food consumes my every thought, my whole life seems to revolve around what im going to eat and when. I really want to break this cycle so im hoping mounjaro is the missing key to Me unlocking my willpower!

Injection was fine, not painful at all, although its bruised.
I dont seem to be obsessing over food as much but I do feel as though im obsessing over symptom spotting instead 🤣

Been to GP. She says these online Companies should be giving advice as regards any medication.
Advised to take progesterone via vagina.
Is going to check my bloods too
Also said to do weights to avoid muscle loss and saggy skin

Hello, jumping on with a quick question. Will my order come with everything I need? I am looking at an order form and it shows packs of needles separately ( as well as injection wipes, sharps box etc). I thought needles would be included.

@Gettingfitorbust where are you ordering from? I got mine from MedExpress and it came with needles and alcohol wipes. I think I paid an extra £2 for a sharps bin, but that's was the only add on required.

I order from Asda, needles and swabs included and there is the option to add a sharps bin if you need one.

I ordered with Juniper and the medication came with needles, swabs, and a sharps box. They also include a scale 😂

I did my first injection last night. Didn’t hurt at all, the needle is so fine. Do you have a sharps bin for the used needles?

This morning I’m really bloated and feel like I have a rock in my stomach. Don’t feel like eating at all. Surprised how quickly something happened.

still no suppression here, day 3. Although I have lost 5 pounds as I’m being a bit more mindful of what I eat and was eating so badly before

I’m tempted to inject early, has anyone done that?

I have put on weight this week, but am barely eating anything.

Not all weight up or down is fat. A lot is water.

Not eating enough is often the reason for stalling

I’ve just finished my first pen and have barely had suppression all the way through. I took a 4 golden dose last night and still don’t feel much different! But I’ve been eating really healthily (not counted calories) and have lost just over 13lbs in my first month. It’s slowed down to 2lbs a week for the last couple of weeks- but that would still mean another 4 stones off by Xmas…

W2D5, my first SE simultaneous with my period. Delightful! Up from 4.30am with cramps and then 💩
I haven’t had period cramps for years (peri menopausal, periods are erratic anyway).

On the plus side, weight loss is going well. Still focusing on veg and protein and small portions, my suppression is high.

Well done. I’m not feeling the urge to eat healthily though. I’ve just had sausage and mash at work (we don’t choose) and do feel a bit sick but that’s not unusual for me

Still feeling a bit sick after my first dose 🤢 just ate a small dinner yesterday and nothing else which helped a bit, but need to give myself a kick to eat more. Trying to do more keto style lunches so I get the protein/fat hit without the carbs filling me up after a few bites, but expensive to eat chicken breasts etc every day!

re: regular weights and not losing weight, I lost loads without the gym and stalled once I started going more - assume water retention and some muscle growth, plus a bit sneaky eating more which doesn’t show up when you don’t weigh everything you eat precisely (another teaspoon of oil in a dressing, or an extra potato surprisingly adds up when you’re not eating loads). On the other hand I looked miles better after regular gym and dropped a dress size without my weight shifting at all. Photos really helped to see the differences even without the scale shifting.

Can I join? Just taken my first injection. New here so just learning the lingo.
