W2 D2 l am feeling much less suppression too. I succumbed and bought a choc bar today. I ate it but didn't taste half as good as previously.

I think I will be moving up the doses as planned but annoyed for giving into temptation.

Ah don’t be hard on yourself just think about how well you’ve done so far! I cooked steaks and ‘healthy’ chips for Father’s Day meal and made Stilton sauce. I had some and my god within 15 mins my stomach hurt and I needed the loo quite urgently 😂😳

Sam187 · 15/06/2025 20:19

@UglyBastardFace don't be mean to yourself for having some choc. I'm having a little right now too. We aren't going to not have treats for the rest of our lives, but this process will help us with the concept of having things we like in moderation!

@Puffalicious I used MedExpress also. Had a discount code for the first time, follow up costs seem reasonable and it came quickly too.

Seriestwo · 15/06/2025 20:23

I posted on the old thread, oops.

do I jab tomorrow even though I am finding it difficult to eat, getting. Lots of suppression

@IndigoBabble Thank you. I suppose your expectations can run away with you. Hope your belly is better and settled.🍀

Hi all,

I know it's a Sunday & Father's Day & folk are busy. I'd just like to get recommendations of where to go to get started? Which provider?

Thanks

Hi, I tried MedExpress but they had me jumping thru hoops and insisted on seeing my medical records which I said I had no issue with but they asked for copies.....so not a chance am I having them floating around goodness knows where. So I went to Simple Online Pharmacy and they issued day after application on photos alone. I read that Med Express are struggling with getting it and hence delaying people. There a re a few thread comments on here and online it states that. Idk if it is true but it would explain my problem. Glad really if they having issues because I wouldn"t want delays. There is an offer on first order mine cost £113.

Hmmm, I'd usually say to carry on with the injection but your intake, when considering loss through exercise, is super low. I think I might be tempted to delay the next injection.

scarediecat · 15/06/2025 21:31

I just done my first dose 🙌

Sideorderofchips · 15/06/2025 21:33

Urgh the nausea has hit 🤢🤢🤮

Tinybirdie · 15/06/2025 21:33

W3 d2 and my mum noticed my weight loss! Had to fib and tell her I was fasting and had been for 6 weeks. She'd never approve of Mounjaro. My mum is hawk eyed though so I don't think it will be visible to others yet. I am finding my clothes far more comfortable than they have been of late!

Hi, I have my pen in the fridge and waiting for the right moment to inject. Terrified of side effects as I have a long commute to work. How did others cope ?

Hi! I have a long commute too so have been doing mine just before bed (tomorrow will be W3) and so far no issues on the commute and always have some water with me. I’ve felt a little weird - not quite nauseous- now and again but I do think I’m probably sleeping off any initial reactions

ThisNeedsToWork · 15/06/2025 22:05

Shwingbada · 15/06/2025 17:05

I think someone else mentioned this but I've ordered a 5mg pen with a view to either continuing on 2.5 (and potentially - controversial, I know - keeping it in the fridge and using it beyond the 30 days) or being able to have 3.75 or 5 as required. It's only £10 more than the 2.5 pen. There's a chart showing how many clicks are required for each amount.

Thanks @Shwingbada! Where can I find this chart with the clicks?

I'm also w3d2 and I'm wearing a pair of jeans that have been far too tight to wear in recent months! They were closing before, but dug in as they day went on and I ate! This evening they're still closing easily and I had steak for lunch so not exactly been eating light foods today!!

Don’t be upset. Look at how your attitude to the chocolate has changed? It’s not sustainable in the long run to deny yourself for evermore so being able to occasionally have a little choc without the desire to eat 3 bars can only be a good thing.

I’ve not had that experience with Med Express. Simple process to order and only needed to send photos but they do insist on telling your GP which I was fine about. No probs with delay got my first one as expected and just reordered which was straight forward and now en route.

theaveragewife · 15/06/2025 22:15

I had two glasses of wine and some fried chicken and chips and now I feel so horrible! My stomach is gurgling and the nausea has ramped up a bit. So stupid, didn’t even enjoy it I was just out and did what everyone else did. It’s my jab night tonight too, now I’m worrying about jabbing.

scarediecat · 15/06/2025 21:31

I just done my first dose 🙌

Well done.

I had my first dose on the 10th of June. I'm looking forward to weighing myself on Tuesday.

My appetite has suppressed. I don't feel hungry at all. I just hope it continues this way, as I have at least 6 stones to lose.

My ultimate goal is losing 8 stones.

Good luck.

katand2kits · 16/06/2025 07:15

W2D1, just done second injection. Scales down 2lb, but I'm on my period so I wasn't expecting a huge loss this week.

shifting12345 · 16/06/2025 07:20

We’re doing second dose this evening but really disappointed in myself… we had a big celebration on Saturday where I did really well, but this got railroaded by DC needing a trip to a&e (all fine!).

So DH wanted to carry on the celebration/Father’s Day yesterday. He was really down about Saturday being ruined so I ate more to make him feel better as he’d gone to all this effort. He’s the chef in our house and definitely shows his love through food.

I had lost 4lbs and now I’ve put 1.5lb back on.

SusanSHelit · 16/06/2025 07:34

W3d3 today and the scales don't seem to be budging nearly as fast as they did initially. I seem to be stuck at 95kg. Despite walking around five miles per shift in my job and tracking calories pretty religiously. I'm hoping I will get a big ish drop again soon.

They are going down, but the drastic loss of week one looks to be an anomaly now

LongGinShortTonic · 16/06/2025 07:44

At the start of W3 and it’s jab day. I’m exactly the same weight as I was this time last week. Definitely no suppression on the alcohol front for me, but did really well food wise until yesterday. Also did my first outdoor swim of the year yesterday, so pleased with that.

don’t think I’ll increase the dose, and that’s if I decide to carry on. Let’s see how week 3 goes, but I’m a little bit on the fence to be honest.

did anyone else read the article in the Times about the lady who hasn’t told her husband she’s on MJ? I thought of all of us on here who are keeping it a secret!

BadgerFace · 16/06/2025 07:56

@SusanSHelit @LongGinShortTonic im with you both - W3D5 for me and I am the same weight as my third jab which is disappointing! But for once I don’t feel ‘oh bugger it’ and feel like giving up. If we stay in deficit, it will happen. Just maybe not as linear as we’d like!

PuppyHerder · 16/06/2025 08:45

Morning everyone.
Hope all is well with you all.
W2D1 and just had my second jab.
2.5kg down.
I've combined jab with:
Fasting - I try to eat by 19:00 and fast through until 12:00 the following day.

I've always been poor at drinking, so making a conscious effort to have 2l per day.
Protein rich and reduced carbs where possible. I've not really wanted to eat much so making sure that when I do it's good food.

I'd lost 5kg before starting on the jab, but this 5kg has traditionally come off and gone back on again like a yoyo for the last few years, so need to push through and beyond this time.

SW - 101kg
CW - 98.5kg
GW - 75-78 ish
