@BlueLimesi feel exactly the same, 3lb in the last 6 weeks. I was going to stop injecting but I really want to lose another stone or so, taking me to mid BMI. I also am not linked in on the thread, although I’ve been here since the beginning. I feel a bit invisible, but it’s just a thread.

I’ve stone too and possibly a half too. We should keep going, I bet you’re further than what you would be without the jabs?
You are so right, it’s just a thread and normal for people to click more with others, stick around, we’ll persevere and support each other 😊

@Therealmetherealmeand @BlueLimes Feel your pain, 4lbs in 4 weeks for me which yes I know we’re only meant to lose 1lbs-2lbs a week but it is disheartening when others seem to lose a lot quicker and not to mention expensive! Sending positive vibes 🩷

I’m starting my 12.5mg pen this evening, hope that gives me a bit of a whoosh. I still have at least 4st to lose but have honestly been thinking about stopping due to slow losses and the expense of it all. Going to keep at it for now as I’m worried about bad habits etc coming back if I try to go it alone!

Nevertheless I’m so glad I took the plunge to start this back in January and I’ve loved reading everyone’s updates! X

Good luck with 12.5. I was also considering stopping on Tuesday, I think was the lowest I’ve felt in ages, agree with you though, don’t give up now. It’s only 6 months, another 6 months and we couid be at goal/ maintaining.
I hope you have a big whoosh, I’ve felt fine on 12.5 and suppression was better for me. Might take the plunge with 15 at the weekend.

@Therealmetherealme and @BlueLimes you may feel invisible but you are both very much part of the gang to me. I think we all feel a bit like that at times tbh - I know I do.

I’m shockingly bad at reacting to posts or tagging people in replies and I should do better but I remember names very well and always feel a warm glow when I spot someone from this thread elsewhere on MN.

A surprise nearly 3lbs off again this week! I’ve been a plodder for quite some time so this is fab! I have struggled to get my calories in as I haven’t felt hungry (heat hasn’t helped).

@BlueLimes @Therealmetherealme this thread moves so fast sometimes it's difficult for all of us to keep up. I can safely say I have felt like you both have too at points - often, unless you are posting at the time of a particular convo, you simply don't feel part of it. Pls don't take it personally - I try not to. All of us started together and are part of one group 💪

I finally jabbed two days late - was shocked to see how quickly the levels drop in your system from that on shotsy...

Interested to see how that goes - do you use shotsy to see levels? When it says I'm at my 'peak' I can always feel it.

I'm trying not to track calories for the first time. I don't want to do it forever, but I have always done it - even before WLI (not that it helped me!!) - and I want to take advantage of the control of the jabs to see how I get on without it. First day done yesterday, and I'm finding it hard. Even though I know what is in everything without the app, and know what I should/shouldn't be eating. Clearly a weird issue I have! Will persevere...

Go for it @BlueLimes - it may just be that 15mg is the dose for you. I struggled with the second 5mg pen - 4lbs in 4 weeks. I was moved up to 7.5 and it seems to have hit the spot.

Hi everyone! It's weigh day and jab day for me. I've lost another 1.5lb. My losses have definitely reduced but they are still losses! I would not be in this position without the jab. I am worried about maintenance but I think I've got until the end of the year before I really need to worry about that.

I'm on my second dose of 7.5 today. It was the right decision to move up but I am trying hard to stay as low as possible.

Going away for a few days somewhere hot in a couple of weeks. Need to get some clothes! Quite excited 😊 xx

@Thelittlestranger i don’t track calories and never will as a couple of decades ago I did a calorie control diet and the weighing and recording didn’t put me in a healthy place mentally at all. I track carbs very loosely but for the most part I’ve been letting the MJ do the heavy lifting.

After my hols I’m feeling more confident about portion sizes and what I eat. Yes I gained weight both times but it was less than a pound each time and I don’t eat three meals a day at home. Or ice cream. Or Turkish delight 🤣

So dose day for me and I’ve lost 1b for the week, the same pound that seems to go on and off, but I can see my body shape changing, and I’m fitting in some size 10’s and 12’s. I really need a new summer wardrobe.

I really do feel strongly that every time I pass up something yummy, that the result ought to be a lb off my weight.

As it is, I’m still averaging 1 - 1.5lbs a month.

Does anyone know to whom I can send a strongly worded letter of complaint?!

Do you track other things as well, like your measurements or body fat? That can help if your weight is not playing ball, at least you can see SOMETHING progressing.

@MJallthewaymeasured at the start back in January but haven’t measured since. Although I measured myself for a new bra today and I’ve gone from a 38 to a 32 it seems.

Wow @Therealmetherealme , that's a huge difference! 👏 The weight loss definitely seems out of kilter with how things fit sometimes and just shows how we mustn't be slaves to those sadistically impudent scales!

@BlueLimes @Therealmetherealme I am probably one of those people who doesn't post often (or who knows!) and then starts to read the thread and then tried to reply but misses half the thread. It's not that I am purposely missing people out, I'm just trying to respond as best I can without having to write everything down 🤣 it works best if I note down who I want to respond to but I don't always have time for that! I think also we only tend to respond to something that resonates. Not everything will resonate with everyone. I definitely agree that if you post more often you're more likely to get a response!

@Zempy I've also lost over 25% incredible!

@Randomusernameforcode thank you for sharing your update. I think it takes 30 days for mj to completely gone, so month 2 will be key. I'm too scared to come off at the mo. I never want to put weight on again

my anti nsv was a picture at a work thing last night. Lots of belly still but barely any tits. Not the look I am going for….

I know the feeling. There are photos of me taken at the weekend and honestly, in my head I looked much slimmer. I need to tone up, but I also need a whole new wardrobe of clothes that fit and suit me more. Trouble is, I don’t want to do that until I’ve lost more.

Fingers crossed for a big weight loss this week for both of us.

@Thelittlestranger i do use Shotsy but I find my suppression highest 2 and 3 days post whereas Shotsy says it shoujd be 1 and 2. I’m undecided between trying 12.5 every 6 days or going up to 15mg. I injected Sunday, suppression was ok today but waning.

How did you get on today? I’m wondering also about evening out calories. Ie 400 each meal. Maybe keeps more balance ?

I’m so sorry I missed your post, on reflection it is hard to hard to keep up and not feel sensitive when we’re trying to manage something that is so personal. I hope you’re feeling a bit better now?

With you on the slow annoyance - plus only my DH knows, he’s being very tolerant to my it’s so unfair rants. I have started doing sone core exercises at the gym and can see a slight improvement.

Ive upped my protein, water and exercise- hope I’m not furious Tuesday with lack of loss 😬
