Congratulations to everyone who has reached their goal and starting maintenance, and all the warriors still trekking on.

So far I've lost the equivalent of two ironing boards or a mini fridge!

Very predictable 1lb a week with a few at 2 when I've been ill. It's slow and steady so good for skin and health. But it is a bit of a long haul.

I've done a graph and realised it will be another year before I'm anything like at the point I will stop. Then again it's taken about 20 years to get to my SW so should be expected really.

No one has noticed! Suits me, I don't want to discuss it really.

I’m loving this sunny weather but not the water retention and its impact on the scales! 5 lbs higher in 3 days 😆

Wow - lots of ups and downs since I last commented. So much progress, in many ways. Thinking of those going through tough times too.

I've been on a 3hr hike today. There's no way I would have been able to do it in January. Despite being very lazy with exercising, my fitness has greatly increased. 5 days left at work and then hopefully over summer I will embed some good habits. I've barely lost anything the last few weeks but I know it will come.

I am shattered now, I only have short legs 🤣 Trying not to nap!

Me too! So disappointing to be staying static, rather than losing.

Ive passed the 10kg mark this week.in 20 weeks on MJ.
No one is really noticing the difference (yet?)

And I have another 30+kg left to loose. So yes, another 15 months to go…..

However, I’m also chronically ill. Can’t exercise at all. So I’d rather go very slowly and keep my muscles as I won’t be able to rebuild them again!
For me the good side is that I seem to have found the right dosage for me (7.5mg every 6 days) so it’s sustainable.

CW: 12st 7

I've bounced around the same 2 lbs for a month, so bit the bullet today and ordered a 7.5mg. Bit nervous as a few I've spoken to have found 7.5mg hard going. I've had no side effects though so far besides some constipation, so fingers crossed it will be okay.
NSV: I was a size 18/20 so bought two denim dresses in a size 18 and they are roomy, and also have new trousers in a 16 and a large which fit!

Omg. Think I can finally see a difference.
Me last Sept, me in June of this year, lost more weight since pic took, had to crop it as I work in a school and it was class pics so had to crop the children out.
Started MJ in Feb of this year, now 2lb off 3 stone. Never looked at pics of myself before so I was really shocked at what I looked like, so ashamed of myself.
Btw, I do have teeth, 😂😂 just the pic.

Weigh/jab day for me, another maintain at 85kg. If I could maintain at that for the rest of my life I'd be happy! That's 23kg lost, or 3 and a half stone, or about the same weight as my suitcase last time I went on holiday!

Need to work out what I'm doing next jab- whether to stay on 7.5 or start ordering higher and microdosing to save some money.

Loss this week: 1.5 lbs
Total loss on Mounjaro: 48 lbs (3st 6)
Total loss overall: 73.5 lbs (5st 3.5)

Question for people who have mentioned using charts to predict how long it will take to reach goal weight what chart/ app are you using for this? Thanks.

Day 14 of taper. Someone's birthday in the office and there is lots of food. No one else is in my section at the moment so the old voice in my head would be saying I could eat snacks and no one will know. Free food I've not bought doesn't count, right?

That's not going to happen. I will be fine waiting until supper time.

My right wrist is hurting though. I fear that's inflammation I've not felt for 5 months. 😔

Omg, that made me laugh, my full nickname is Dumpertruck, has been for years even when I was much slimmer.
My DH coined the name and I kept wondering why he called me that, then found out it's the name of a champion sumo wrestler. He got a slap when I found that out!!. It is all in fun though !and nothing nasty meant. I will have to tell him I need a new name, he has already started to call me Sporty Spice and says I'm disappearing. 😂.

@Mounjaronewbie25 I bought myself the Happy Scales app, cost me like £11 (I think) for the year’s subscription. There’s probably good cheap/free ones avail, but I needed one and it had all the stuff I needed - weight/BMI and a notes section to add in all your doses etc. Can split up your goal into smaller goals or one big one etc and it’ll tell you how long to goal based on current weight loss.

Just checking in to try and hold myself accountable. This will be a long post, sorry.

I've been eating appallingly for a while now. In a past life I might have been a labrador. I've also been feeling really sugary and craving chocolate.
I haven't been tracking my calories which is not good for me. If I don't track then I can't keep myself in check. Even with the MJ I am still a bottomless pit capable of eating portions that even my giant husband is overwhelmed by.

I haven't been exercising either. The fatigue is insane. I had some health problems in 2023/2024 that put me through hell and I'm not sure if I'm starting to experience another bout of it or if it's the MJ.

So I need to get a grip on everything. Come onnn, zibb, sort it out!

On a positive note - I am so close to hitting the 6st/38kg loss mark! I have 19.5kg to go until my ultimate goal weight.

I have come so far in 21 weeks. I don't usually feel proud of myself or like I've achieved enough but tonight I do. 37.3kg gone FOREVER! I did that.

Other than my 2 pairs of trousers (1 of them being gym leggings) and 1 top I have nothing that fits. I thought my clothes were just a bit loose and oversized looking but no, they're hanging off me and I look ridiculous. I'm walking around looking like a sentient dirty laundry pile. I can't bring myself to buy anything new though. I hate vinted. Tried looking on it the other day and it was too overwhelming. I'll have to try again at some point, does anyone have any tips to share?

I don't even know what kind of clothes I like now. I think I'd quite like to try a maxi skirt.

@Zibb sorry your feeling this way. Ive bought so many clothes strange really. I don't do vinted but just go on shein. I normally only buy shorts, vest tops the occasional black dress at moment and just t- shirts. A maxi skirt sounds nice.maybe just get yourself a couple of things see how you feel in them to start off with. Hope you feel better in yourself soon and I am glad you felt proud of yourself too. The food noise does take time it's took me nearly a whole year to shrink my stomach so I don't crave much anymore so be kind to yourself

@Zibb, you can do this! I love how you can congratulate yourself now, that’s so positive.

You deserve new clothes you know. Although ‘a sentient dirty laundry pile’ made me laugh!

As you might remember, I love Vinted myself. But agree it can be overwhelming. Here’s what I do. Have just one idea for what you want - in this case a maxi skirt, or trousers. Do you know what size you are? If not, have a look at size charts on, say, Marks and Spencer. I suggest them because they are decent quality, readily available, and can be sold again because people trust the brand. Go onto Vinted and search ‘maxi skirt size blah’. Then filter for brand (m&s), condition (new with tags, new without tags, very good), colour, material (I filter for natural fibres only), price etc etc. You can make it restrictive so there is less choice and less overwhelm. And then, hopefully, an array of lovely skirts will appear before your eyes!

Anyone else had do a bmi check when ordering ive tried ordering 7.5mg and asked for my I'd again and a full length photo?

No photos, nor ID, but I’m always asked for my weight.

For context, I’ve had the same provider since Easter (BMI 30) and my BMI is now around 27.

Ive been with medexpress since august last year maybe it's just a check because how long ive been on it. Hopefully they issue my order

Yes, I am now asked for a photo each time I order, and have always been asked current weight. Bit of a pain but worth it for the progress shots! Have stayed with the same provider since the start..
