Welcome one and all to our latest thread!

So much support and encouragement on here. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s continued achievements and NSVs.

Congratulations to everyone who has reached their goal and starting maintenance, and all the warriors still trekking on.

I still have a couple of stone to go. Feeling motivated and ready to go!

We can do this!

New and first injection done today.

loobyloo1979 · 26/06/2025 20:37

I'm a slow loser- started 8th feb at 14st 12 now 12st 7, my calories are at 1350 per day which is my TDEE and I drink 3+ litres of Vimto a day (don't like water). I could move more but it's hard with a severe back injury. Just feeling a bit low today after seeing people lose over 4stone in the same time on fb.

you're doing really well, I started at 15st 1 and am now at 12st 10 so similar loss in around the same period, I'm happy where I am at the moment with the loss and hope you are too. some have lost a shed load of weight as you say but 2st 5 is still a brilliant achievement, I have still eaten similar or the same foods in smaller quantity and am similar loss to you, a fair few people have commented recently which I suspect will be the same for you, your winning which is the main thing and I guess like myself feeling so much better for it at the moment.

I went out with a 12 kg back pack the other day and thought it was quite a weight and then reminded myself I dropped 15 KG so had been lugging that about and occasionally that pack as well

keep at it your winning!!

MJSpideySenses · 27/06/2025 05:36

Morning!
Super early wake up today, its becoming a habit 😏 Already been up for an hour.

Weigh in this week. 2.2lb down.

SW 15st0.8
CW 12st4.8
GW probably 9st

I have lost 2st10 and dropped from a BMI of 38.6 to 31.6.

I'm starting to feel slim now. I've gone from a size 18 to a 14 and people are noticing. Still plenty to go though!

sweetpickle2 · 27/06/2025 06:59

Anyone here used to be a secret eater? It’s part of the reason I got to the size I did, and apparently old habits die hard- DP was out last night so I ordered myself a big takeaway and scoffed the lot. Didn’t even want it, felt full and bloated and sick afterwards.

If i could afford it, I’d get therapy alongside the jabs- they fix the biological cause, but I think I still need to do work on the mental side of things.

SpiralSister · 27/06/2025 07:53

Morning! Still loving the NSVs, and also it is really helpful to hear when things don’t go smoothly too. It’s very real, and gives the lie to WLI being the ‘easy’ option..

I am still rather annoyed by a comment made by a colleague yesterday. She seems over invested in my weight loss. Surely I am done now? At least she’s a bit less worried now, as I’ve slowed down my loss. Apparently. This is all in her head, btw. I had no idea I lived there rent free! She is fat herself, she it might be some projection going on there..

I wish people would content themselves with ‘my God! You look fantastic!’ 😂

PerditionCatchMySoul · 27/06/2025 09:14

skyscrapersinging · 26/06/2025 16:08

Ah, but if you haven’t suffered, have you even lost weight?! (*Sarcasm)
I swear some people want everyone to be miserable on a weight loss journey so that they can feel morally superior about their own weight.

No, it’s cheating if you’ve eaten less but not been starving whilst doing it 🙄

Ke11 · 27/06/2025 10:56

Checking in for another week

Sw:116. 5kg
Cw:88.3kg
Total loss so far 28.2kg
Loss this week 0.5kg/1lb

Im glad it's slowed down this week, I've been consciously trying to eat more since I've been very lightheaded for the previous 2 weeks, I think I'm settling into the 10mg dose now.

About 2 kilos to go to being overweight, hoping to get there by end of July now thanks to the boost of the last few weeks. Hoping for more gradual loss purely to give my skin a bit of a chance to catch up, I'm very deflated balloon looking on the belly at the moment. I do love how different my hands and face look though.

Still in disbelief that this is working to be honest.

FunnyCrabDance · 27/06/2025 10:57

Well done to everyone for keeping going!
I'm away for a long weekend, escaping the heat by heading for Wales 🙂 so I've decided to not jab today and hold off until Monday. I hope its the right decision but I want to enjoy an ice cream and some meals out and feel good mentally, the injection really impacts my mood for 2 or 3 days each time. Hope the decision doesnt undo all of last couple of weeks work!

PurpleCoo · 27/06/2025 13:34

Good morning, another week another check in

Just taken dose 20, 5mg - also started a new pen, hopefully I don't regret sticking to 5mg for a second month.
SW: 96.55
CW: 77.3
Weekly loss (well since Monday as was away) 0.65
TL: 19.25 or exactly 3 stone if I want to use old money.

A few weeks ago, I was despairing at my disproportionately fat upper arms and lower belly. My arms still look fat, but not freakishly out of proportion fat. The body pump seems to be working, hoorah. My lower belly looks disproportionately fat still. Everything is slimming up nicely and it looks like I have shoved a bean bag down the front of my knickers. It looks awful, but it's not quite as bad as a few weeks ago, and logically it's got to shrink while I am still losing weight, and have a fair amount to go still, so patiently optimistic

Zibb · 27/06/2025 16:01

I am a very odd shape right now. I also have the lower belly bean bag @PurpleCoo.
Also my legs are still very large, 45cm calves! Despite losing over 45cm off my waist I've only managed to lose 4cm off my calves.

Still, I've come a long way! 5st 5lb down and only 3st 5lb to go until ultimate goal weight!

@Zibb You are looking great, fantastic work! I think carrying an extra bean bag is pretty good going to be fair from where we have come from.

SpiralSister · 27/06/2025 19:14

@Zibb wowsers! Look at that shape on you! Gorgeous!

pinkcow123 · 27/06/2025 19:49

I dipped out a few threads ago, but have been steady on 2.5mg since February 1st.

Weighed in today with just over 19kg loss since starting (haven’t tracked like that in a while 🥹🥹) and I’ve lost 3st - I’m 0.5kg away from my pre-pregnancy weight.

but, I had the best NSV ever today and I actually feel quite emotional… After being told I was pre-diabetic at the end of last year… I was told today, I no longer am!!!

I actually can’t believe it 😭😭😭

HangryGreenGoose · 27/06/2025 19:58

@Zibb you are looking amazing 🤩

Zibb · 27/06/2025 20:14

Ahh thank you for the kind words!

Today I can actually see the difference. Such a weird feeling, like my brain has finally caught up and decided oh yea, the body is actually smaller.

On my walk today I went through a gate without having to turn sideways! 5 months ago I had to turn to go through. I also sat in a swing chair without checking the weight limit beforehand (I checked after and it was 100kg!). Crazy, Never thought I'd get to this point.

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 27/06/2025 21:06

Love all the NSVs

@zibb we must be looking at different bodies. Pretend the photo was one of us and describe it again. You are looking good!

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 27/06/2025 21:37

I find it funny yo see how many groups are newer than us. In some ways feels like just yesterday we started.

usedtobeaylis · 27/06/2025 21:46

You look great @Zibb!

I am feeling good about it, promise. It's just strange how my legs have barely changed despite everything else shrinking. Still, I'm not unhappy about it! They must be quite muscular 😁

Mounjaroday · 27/06/2025 22:58

Wow @Zibb that’s incredible!

sc0ttishlass · 28/06/2025 07:40

@Zibb you look amazing. I would describe that pic of a stong athletic body!

@pinkcow123 well done! What a landmark!

Week 20 for me. Another 2lb off meaning a loss of over 40lb and now at 10 stone 6.5lb. Can't believe it!

Started 7.5 2 weeks ago and 2nd jab this week. Really noticed a difference. Can hardly eat on it and feel really nauseaus if I eat too much. I think there is definitely a sweet spot for each person on this and im guessing mine coukd be between 5 amd 7.5 as id felt 5 wasn't doing much lately. Secretly im liking the feeling of not wanting tk eat in 7.5 but realistically knowing its not sustainable or good for me!

Im also lying about being on this and not enjoying that! To be honest ive dieted and tried various bouts of fitness over past 20 years so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that im dieting again but I thinj the automatic assumption now just happens to be WLI..

Everyone doing so well regardless of how much or little losing.

SpiralSister · 28/06/2025 08:24

Morning lovelies! Weigh in day for me. A pound off this week, might be slowing down a bit. That is a good thing (tells herself firmly).

SW: 15.5
CW: 12.4
TL: 3.1
GW:10.5

Still a long way to go. I reckon it will take me most of the year to reach goal, titrate down, and maintain. That’s ok. A slim and healthy winter awaits me!

Funnily enough, I now weigh about the same as I did when I got married, 22 years ago. Totally different shape though. Then I was all small waist, big boobs and bum. My post menopause shape revealed by the current weight loss is thicker in the middle (still one inch over a healthy waist size at 32.5 inches) a flatter bum and smaller boobs. Ah well.

I’m stronger now - and even before the weight loss I was, due to daily exercise. That is my goal for getting older!

Hope you all have a great weekend, and keep focusing on the NSVs! 💐

WoolerOwl · 28/06/2025 08:27

I think you’re all doing amazingly well and I love being part of this group on the good days and the tough, because it feels like it gives me patience to wait for the whooshes knowing that the overall movement is down.

NSV: I had lots of photos taken yesterday for my new job and I was so happy with how they came out. Normally I’d hate seeing them or wouldn’t look. But I looked good. Face much slimmer, definitely slim legs.

79.5kg today. BMI 26.6.
