Following on from thread 1 - !

Reading some of the previous posts I’d not anticipated that it might be problematic to order when your BMI gets below 30?!

I posted the other day as my zava order got cancelled, but I tried oushk and that was accepted no problems! It was slightly more expensive but they do have codes for existing customers and was still cheaper than med express!

That’s reassuring! I’m hoping to be able to get my BMI to within normal limits on this journey, although I’ve not had a BMI of 25 or under in about 20 years!

Anyone had an email from med express threatening to implement penalties if codes are used on social media?

Yes, I had the same message. It was quite threatening!

I just ordered my second pen from Med Express and went for 5mg. My first pen was from them too. The message on screen after I placed my order said because I was going up a dose, they would contact before dispatching it. I haven’t heard anyone else mention this, is it normal?

I did wonder how long before this happened.

It’s essentially free promotion for discounted prescription drugs. It was fairly dodgy territory tbh. There are boards on here full of promos and all over SM so it’s fairly difficult to police without just scrapping the codes all together.

How do you do 3,75 dose from a 2.5 pen as a 4th dose please? So I obviously do the normal 2.5 and then how much do I need in a 1ml syringe? Thanks

Yes, I reported my post on the referral thread and received this reply from MN towers.

Rightly or wrongly I’ve just done it and gone from 2.5mg to 5mg. I didn’t have syringes for the 5th dose, I don’t really know what I’m doing enough yet to get stuck in to that either. Sort of questioning my logic in not staying at 2.5 given I’ve had good losses and no side effects but… here we are. 😂

Although I do now need to be in the office tomorrow so I’m really hoping I don’t get any awful side effects in the office. 🥶

Yeah, I got the email. I used a friend's code and wasn't intending using another for my 2nd pen but felt a bit like I'd been scolded!

My 5mg pen arrived today too, although I ordered a bit in advance and aren't due to jab my 4th dose until Saturday.
I haven't decided what I'm doing about the "golden dose" either.
Would be nice if i could get 0.9ml out of it which I've heard can be possible to give me that 3.75mg step up xxx

My understanding is that 3.75mg would come from 0.9ml in total if all administered/ drawn up from a 2.5mg pen . If you have taken the standard delivered dose of 0.6ml (2.5mg) you would need to draw up a further 0.3ml (1.25mg) from the same pen to get 3.75mg.
I'm going to do this tomorrow too as my week 4 injection as 2.5mg has had no discernible effects this week.

Most 1ml syringes are marked in units, so 1ml =100 units.

0.6ml (60 units) = 2.5mg
0.3ml (30 units) = 1.25mg

Normal dose + 0.3ml = 3.75mg

I actually use a bit of my bonus dose last week to go up to 3.75mg on my 4th dose so il definitely have less in there now but I’m thinking I could use the rest of that and top up out of my 5mg pan but I’d need to do my actual drug calculations to do that so depends which head i have on at the time lol

We really are the same person, I came back from work tonight and inhaled half a bottle of rose to try and wipe out my headache. My poor body 😂

Eeeek. Finally ordered first MJ,2.5, approved and will be delivered tomorrow! It's taken me 3 attempts to order as I kept talking myself out if it.
I'm not worried about injections by am worried about any side effects. Hopefully I can distract myself because I get quite easily make myself feel sick just thinking about it.
Having read lots of advice here I have got myself some Immodiian and some Rennie tablets and lots and lots of protein and some electrolytes.

Also really excited to get my pre menopause body back. And get my confidence back and generally get my mojo back! 💪

So W1, D6. No side effects , except a faint “prickly” feeling in my stomach when I’m getting full. Terrified of getting constipated, so two prunes with my tea in the morning 🤢. Weighing every day, 4lbs down so far!

Hope you're feeling ok. Make sure you're hydrated too as that can help constipation.
