I’m W1D6. I had suppression until today when the hunger kicked back in. Willpower will get me through until Thursday.

Food noise is still completely gone, but my suppression has stepped back a bit today. I actually managed to eat all of my breakfast and lunch today which I haven’t been able to do since starting. Still healthy choices, and haven’t felt the need to snack at all, so happy with this! Arms are killing me after yesterday’s swim session… might go again later this week once I have recovered a bit more 😅

Oh I will definitely give it my all for the duration of my full pen & then decide. It cost a fortune in Ireland as its so newly introduced that there is limited availability. Definitely don't understand how the celebs are losing half their body weight with it, I'm sure it definitely helps but still takes a lot of hard work.

Do we not have to stick with the same supplier on the whole, we can order one month from one and the next from another, etc..? If so I didn’t know that! I’ll look into different places/sites then. Thanks!

Yes! This is exactly how I felt for about 24hrs after my first dose. My fat bits hurt!!! Felt perfectly fine within 24hrs. Be interesting to see what happens with second dose this week!

Does anyone know when you actually start losing fat and not just water? I’m day 10 and have lost 10 pounds, surely not. Is there a specific time when we can acknowledge we’re losing actual body fat? I do feel better and I’ve been told my face isn’t as puffy as normal (backhander 😆) but could this all just be water retention leaving my body?

Felt hungry last night but still no inclination to eat much. One observant person asked if I had lost weight weight stunned me. My scale’s currently say around 4.5 kgs, of which around 3.5 is water loss. However, I seem to have lost a lot of it from the neck up 🤣🤣

The tips of my arms felt really tender yesterday (D1) too, I actually checked the mirror for bruising as I am forever getting bruised walking into things but it wasn’t bruised, just very tender.

I started 2.5 dose on Sunday. Felt terrible that night, with nausea, indigestion. Had to sit propped up in bed. Major regrets the next day when I felt shattered at work. Will inject in the morning next time. The second day I had aches and pains like you get when coming down with a virus. Yesterday felt much better. It’s definitely slowed down gastric emptying, I still feel full from the 1/3 normal sized pasta I ate last night. Also minor belching. I don’t feel hungry. When I eat it doesn’t give me the usual pleasure. Can’t face my usual latte habit. Eating 2 small meals a day so far.

167cm and 92kg, apparently I need to get to 70kg to be within normal range. Which feels like climbing a mountain.
Underactive thyroid, bereavement, sedentary and lifelong food habits have caused it to creep on in recent years. A couple of health scares and generally feeling uncomfortable have given me the impetus to do it. A diet last year wasn’t a success.

I really hate exercise and don’t want to do it. I do walk though, a couple of hours twice a week. I’ll see how this goes.

Morning! I’m just about to take jab no4, weighed in this morning and also taken my measurements which is the first time I’ve remembered since starting!

starting weight - 12st10
w1 - 12st3 - 7LB loss
w2 - 12st1.5 - 1.5lb loss
w3 - 11st13 - 2.5lb loss
total lost - 11lbs

cm lost since starting on 26th March - 18.5cm

W1d5 here. Still no appetite suppression or lack of food noise, though did notice feeling fuller a bit quicker yesterday.

My mum is taking mj and hasn’t noticed much of an effect yet and she’s just going up to 7.5 now. Wondering if I’m likely to be like her and only respond at higher doses (obviously we’re genetically similar). 2nd dose on Saturday and will weigh then too. I would be very shocked if I’ve lost anything but live in hope.. and hopefully I’ll feel more as the weeks pass

Hi all, have been posting on the March thread but will post on this one as I started 1 day before the April starters!

SW: 207lbs - 14st 7lbs (1st Mar 2025 pre MJ)

SW MJ: 200lbs - 14st 2lbs (31st Mar 2025)

CW: 189 lbs - 13st 4lbs

so a loss of 11lbs since starting MJ and I’m only halfway into my third week! 😃

What makes you say 3.5 is water?

W2D7 and I’m ravenous today and my chocolate habit came back last night. Down overall about 3lb, which I’m still happy with as I’ve said on the other thread, slow and steady will suit me and not yet on the dose for losing weight. if my appetite continues I may inject early tonight instead of tomorrow.

But apart from a touch of constipation, no side effects and am still loving the added “oomph” I have since starting the injections. DH has noticed my extra energy too.

I am on W1 D2 I had appetite suppression right away and was a little burpy yesterday.

Today I have started with fizzy egg burps. I hope they don’t hang around for too long!
