New thread as I am sure we will fill thread 2 up by the end of today!

Welcome back everyone and well done for all the losses. Some have 5-6 stone to lose, some have 2 stone and me I have put 4 stone but looking at the BMI chart I could lose 6 stone and still be in the healthy range.

NSV - shaved my legs sitting in the bath without too much difficulty 😂

Weigh in 3. 4lbs off. Total of 18 lbs in 3 weeks. This is bloody amazing!

Wowsers - congratulations :)

Bipaloss · 06/04/2025 09:34

Good morning

jab day and weigh day

4 weeks in
SW 115 kg/ 18.1 st
CW 110.7kg / 17.4 st
loss this week 0.5 kg /1.1 lb
total loss 4.3 kg / 9.5 lb
GW 11 st

scale went down to 109.7 so would have lost 1.5 kg 2.2 lb but TOM coming and bloat is deffo coming with water retention and a cheeky Chinese last night.

out of the 9.5 lb I lost the 4 weeks 7.4 of these came from first two weeks so ready for 5mg eeek (not doing golden dose)

someone mentioned on a video I watched of someone who is on their week 16 that if you jab stretch mark that it can be less effective and in the comments loads mentioned this too to avoid stretch marks (have no idea why but this could also be why my jab leaked out a drop last week as the skin is thinner).

the last two weeks was for me mainly will power almost like the jab stopped working so I’m gonna avoid stretch marks moving forward to see if it makes a difference.

Choirgirl699 · 06/04/2025 09:37

Well done everyone! Great losses.

New NSV for me: I can see my c-section scar!! 😂First time I've seen in for the last 3 years!

Yetanotherusername2000 · 06/04/2025 09:37

I’m going for a run for the first time in three years!!

ShineyGreen · 06/04/2025 10:06

@Illbefinejustbloodyfine thats amazing! Wow wow wow!

I have been weighing daily which is working really well for me as it obviously jumps around a little bit but I get such a kick when I see the next number lb down show for the first time and then consistently, then the next and so on. I’m not really sure when my weigh day is or whether I started from 17st or 17 st 3lbs as got new eufy scales after a few weeks (which are AMAZING if you love a good nerd out on stats like I do 😂) and they weighed heavier - but either way I’m losing weight steadily on 2.5 so I’m thrilled :) I have over 5st to lose and have just achieved my first stone. Yay go me!

SW 17st 3lb
CW 16st
GW 11st 4lb

2.5mg
Week1 3.5lb
Week2 4lb
Week3 3.5lb
Week4 2lb
Week5 2lb

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 06/04/2025 10:13

I am SHOOK! I’ve had NO suppression whatsoever on my first week, I’ve tried really hard to eat healthily despite being starving and it’s jab 2 tomorrow.

Sunday is my weigh day, this is my weight last Sunday and then just now

That’s really interesting as I find the needle doesn’t like going in easily in my stretch marks, of which there are loads (thanks kids) so find a spot without!

You’ve had a good loss over the month!

ShineyGreen · 06/04/2025 10:22

Brilliant @AintNobodyHereButUsChickens :)

What a great first week! Once suppression kicks in (it wasn’t instant for me either, end of week 3) it will be so, so much easier. It won’t feel like that awful slog anymore :)

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 06/04/2025 10:51

I’m so shocked. I weighed myself 3 times because I didn’t believe it 🤣 I can’t wait for the suppression to kick in, food is all I’ve thought about all week because I’ve been so hungry.

TryingMJ · 06/04/2025 06:30

Morning all, is anyone on TikTok and follow any Mounjaro folks on there? I know this isn’t tattle 😁 but I like FitWithLiz and itsmolliesworld. Both have lost around 40lbs and show what they eat- normal stuff! And share their journeys, side effects, weight loss, supplements etc. Both have recently been on holidays where they skipped a dose of MJ to enjoy their holiday food- Liz on a two week Caribbean Cruise and Lynsey (mollie is her daughter’s name) to Tuscany.

@TryingMJ I'm not on tiktok but in YouTube I like to watch "babbling by the brook" I find her quite relatable 🙂

SpunkyKhakiScroller · 06/04/2025 14:33

Weigh day and jab day for me.

SW: 106.6kg (16st 11lb)
CW: 103.2kg (16st 3.5lb)

Wk1: 3.2kg (7.1lb)
Wk2: 0.2kg (0.4lb)

Total loss so far: 3.4kg (7.5lb)

I'm disappointed with this week's loss especially since I was down to 103 at one point and was hoping to get into the 102s. But it's still 3.4kg in 2 weeks, which is great. I had good suppression and ate well this week so just need to keep going.

Lollzi86 · 06/04/2025 15:02

W4 D6. Had to weigh in a day early as travelling this afternoon and no scales where I am staying tonight/tomorrow AM. 3.75 pounds off this week, total loss so far of 19 pounds (I was a bit lighter Friday but I’ve drank alcohol and not eaten the best Friday and Saturday night eeek). Will jab tomorrow night when I get back. Fairly pleased!

28Spring · 06/04/2025 15:24

Hello and happy Sunday, hope the sun is shining for you all!
Just need some advice please, I usually jab Wednesday, this last Wednesday I took a half dose to see if SE of nausea and fatigue would improve; they did BUT food noise came back and I’ve been eating things I had totally gone off/had no interest in whilst on 2.5mg like chocolate, bread, ice cream and alcohol! So, my plan was to move my jab day to Monday and I was going to do another half dose but as I know I won’t have lost anything this week and want to get back on track, do you think it’s ok to inject 2.5mg on Monday? So last dose was 1.75 (30 clicks) on Wednesday…thoughts?

IngoGreen · 06/04/2025 15:27

Anyone else having the utterly amazing experience of waking up with mouth feeling ok, like it’s been closed for a good part of the night and I strongly suspect not snoring? This was from first night with MJ. Game changer for me, I have tried all the stop snoring ideas.
I’ll be trying the ultimate test of sleeping with DH soon, he is autistic & mega sensitive to noise and I used to lie there worrying and trying not to snore for so long that both of us had crap sleep. As soon as DS went to uni we were in separate rooms during term time. This would be amazing if it keeps up.

Yes!!!!!!!!!! I'd assumed it was because I'd cut back so much on dairy (if I don't eat dairy I can breathe properly)

Yep few of us. I stopped snoring night 1 on MJ 😃 4 weeks in today and the feeling of being to able to breath nicely through nose while sleeping is another huge benefit of this jab !

How many weeks did you do 2.5 , I’m asking as my SE last only about half way through week 2 and 2.5 is a starting dose for the body to adjust to the medication and prepare you for the higher doses (in theory) the effect wore off for me week 3 and 4

in the instruction it says minimum 4 days between jabs so you should be ok I guess, you could also message provider and ask for guidance

You can get an app called snore lab, which I got when dc told me I snored LOUDLY. I was shocked! (Been single years). I'm still snoring but so so much less, abd never in the "epic" category!

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 06/04/2025 18:18

I've taken the kids away , should be jabbing tonight but leaving it til tomorrow when we're home. Coukd have brought it with me but no idea what the food offerings are so thought I'd be safe and delay a day. Don't want d & v in a theme park tomorrow!!

Fatmumslim01 · 06/04/2025 18:58

Uurgh I'm so full I feel sick 🤢

Wk3D3 here and I haven't eaten that much today but feel so sick. I didn't want any dinner but my kids (teens) don't know I'm on MJ so I'm trying to eat fairly normally in front of them

Today I've had half a bagel, a banana, a small bowl of soup, a few slices of baguette, then dinner which I didn't want i ate half a sausage and maybe a palm sized portion of cauliflower cheese and now I feel I'm about to burst 🤢

cmh18 · 06/04/2025 19:07

Has anyone tried any supplements that have helped with fatigue? I'm making an effort to eat little and often, as I was finding myself getting to the end of the working day having only eaten and banana or a small bowl of cereal and then not having enough energy to do any exercise, but I'm still feeling wiped out by around 5pm amd wanting to go to bed!! Thanks

Crikeyalmighty · 06/04/2025 19:18

@Fatmumslim01 that’s a bit my concern as I’ve posted yesterday - I’m on wk 1 day 5 and I feel pretty sick all the time, though not been sick - so I am sure I would lose weight through simply not eating much due to feeling sick - hope it goes down as I’m not sure I can cope with months of feeling sick - and this is on the lowest dose eating modest amounts , incredibly healthy plain stuff , no sugar, little fat, lots of water etc

Hiya!

@soupforbrainshas had awful SE but now splits the dose into 2 per week and said the side effects are much better. Maybe try this so you’re still having the full dose but in two smaller jabs

Bubbless31 · 06/04/2025 19:26

Hi all, 1st week and I’ve lost 9lbs which is crazy. Second jab today, and whilst I didn’t have any side effects last week is there a chance I will this week? We are away next week with the in laws and I really need to be passing as a sensible human and not be riddled with side effects… hoping someone can settle my nerves!
