Wow, so many great messages to catch up on as I have been awol for a couple of weeks. Just wanted to do a quick update to keep myself accountable but also in case it helps others.

TW 12st 4 for the 70lb in my username and to just squeak on to a borderline healthy BMI but would actually like to see the 11s.
I am now 6 weeks in and taking my 3rd 5mg tonight.
I just wanted to reassure people about the 5mg. I was terrified of horrific symptoms from lots of stories on social media but I have found it great. I've actually lost more per week than I did on 2.5 but still have mild hunger at mealtimes and no major side effects. A bit of constipation, occasionally feeling cold and a bit more tired for the first 2 days after a jab. All more than manageable.
I've been on 2 work trips and a hen weekend, all of which would normally see me stuffing my face with crap and drinking way too much. I did have a couple of drinks on 2 occasions but that's literally it. I just didn't fancy more. I even poured myself another glass and couldn't face it. That's completely insane to me.
Food-wise I focused on protein where I could and just drank lots of water and got my steps in. I wasn't in control of what food was provided so I made the best choices under the circumstances and it worked. Was so shocked that every week I still lost.
I am now within touching distance of 2 stone off. I feel energised (apart from falling asleep early most nights!) and positive and not like I am depriving myself of anything which is the thing that always made me fall off the diet wagon before. Usually around this 6-8 week point.
We are on holiday with friends next week and over Easter so that's the next challenge but I feel much more confident about it than I did when I started.
