@Reginaphalangeeeee I don't have a B belly, but while the actual belly is very much still there. Sigh. I have definitely lost a lot more from the area under my boobs (which I assumed was liver fat?)

The wonderful scales that were recommended on here actually give you the breakdown of visceral fat and subcutaneous fat. My visceral fat has gone down according to the scales, which would correlate with me thinking my visceral (possibly liver?) fat has indeed reduced.

Here is the link to the marvellous scales (which incidentally are stuck at the moment, so not so marvellous😂). Tantalisingly close to 4 stone - 2 impossible pounds to go! But I am still very much in the zone, so just keep plodding on.

NSV! I've got 3 x rings I've worn for years until a few years ago, when I got so big none of them fitted any fingers.

Then a few weeks ago, I was able to wear 2 of them but on smaller fingers than they were fitted for.

Today I've tried again and they all fit on the correct fingers! Am really chuffed about this, because they all have very sentimental connections and I've missed wearing them.

It's my son's 21st birthday meal tonight, so for the first time in over 5 years, I'll be wearing them 😊

Still no collarbones though...! 🙄😀

Arglefraster · 11/04/2025 11:37

Hi @ReginaphalangeeeeeI'm obsessed with my B belly changes! It feels like one part reduces & then the other does taking turns but never being even, my lower belly is currently bigger than upper which is definitely my preference. I know what you mean about the lowest band of the upper belly hanging on - I think it's a gravity thing & essentially a saggy skin thing for me 😩

also missing the "support" the upper upper belly was giving to my boobs 🙈

QueenOfHiraeth · 11/04/2025 11:58

@taylorswift1989 There's no need to order from multiple suppliers as quite a few let you order more than one at a time. I have had 2 at a time from Ashcroft as it saves on postage and on waiting in for the postman. Oushk allow you to order more than one at a time which can be delivered on dates you select. I think Bolt allow it too but not sure. I'm sure there will be others do similar.
It is risky if your dose changes though unless you have a long enough expiry to use it when reducing dose for maintenance. I tend to have one in hand just in case of any blips but I am on higher doses so not changing frequently.

@alwaysscared The problem with adding doses is that, if you are injecting more than once, that 2 smaller doses (even if injected as close together as humanly possible) may not absorb exactly the same as one larger one. This is why the manufacturers advise against it as it has not been tested.
I really wonder if you may have to cut your losses and move away from the NHS to private supply but keep GP informed. Smaller companies may be able to offer a more personal service, the big ones like MedExpress just want the easy money

InfoSecInTheCity · 11/04/2025 12:01

As you can see from the image, my poor belly is suffering saggy skin. I’m hopeful that time and exercise will bring about some improvement but not expecting miracles.

@Reginaphalangeeeee My tummy was rolls like a Michelin man so not so much a B as a BBB.
I have deflated more above my tummy button where I look rather shrivelled now but I still have a rather solid roll below it which starts near each hipbone and dips down a bit in the middle. Makes me look ridiculous in jeans or jeggings if not covered

OMG look at your figure though! If I end up with a tummy like that, I will be ecstatic! 😍

InfoSecInTheCity · 11/04/2025 13:22

It’s coming together @MooBaggage still feels like a surprisingly large amount of flab though, I had thought healthy BMi even the top range on me would look stick thin, but it really doesn’t. I have about a stone to get to what the online calculators call my ‘ideal weight’ for my height. So will be interesting to see what difference that stone makes.

Darlinghag · 11/04/2025 14:10

You look great @InfoSecInTheCity

B belly here too - its mostly shrunk all over, and its all very squishy - but not loose skin really. but now I see the top of the B shrinking a little more than the apron. I can see that by the sides of myself, the crease doesnt travel so far back!

i also notice when i sit down, my tummy only just rests a little on my thighs now - not much at all!

i have not had kids etc, but suspect my apron wont ever be flat. Although i could maybe lose it if i ever got down into the middle of the normal BMI - which is 9stish, as i am so short!

If i ever got to that weight i really wont know what to do with myself, i have never not been fat!! I already struggle with getting out of the habit of pulling at clothes and wearing certain waistlines or yanking stuff down if i can feel exposed skin at my back!

WeAllHaveWings · 11/04/2025 15:01

Top and bottom B are very squishy now.
Last time I measured about a month ago I'd lost around 10" from top B, 8" from waist, and 10" from bottom B so pretty balanced loss.

Top B is now like two hanging sacks of skin/fat with a high bit in the middle. Looks terrible in tshirts as two separate lumps like an extra pair of waist height boobs so I am still wearing swing style tops.

Bottom B is a standard apron, with overhang hip to hip.

Not attractive at all, unlikely to ping back as I am older (56), but much better and healthier than what it was before - although I really need to convince myself of that some days!

Reginaphalangeeeee · 11/04/2025 15:41

@InfoSecInTheCity I would be very happy to end up with a tummy as flat as yours!

Thank you all for the B belly chat. Interesting most have noticed upper abdomen (is this liver fat) gone first. 😆 this shelf, ’my boobs are missing its support’, I know what you mean! Looking forward to less belly resting on my thighs when I sit too!
Guess that lower belly fat going is the thing which would allow small trousers to fit. I have gone from a size 22 being too loose and now into size 20’s more.
The upper B belly, well that’s the one which doesn’t affect clothes size but does affect how tops look on.
I think there has always been a slight shelf there even when much smaller than now so I don’t expect mine will go

No loose skin here yet so I guess that comes with great loss than 3 stone?

alwaysscared · 11/04/2025 17:01

Right, what I think might try is drawing out 3 weeks of 7mg from my 5mg pen. Does anyone know the maths of how much I will need to draw out (already got the syringes)
Or is this a stupid idea??

alwaysscared · 11/04/2025 17:14

Actually, don’t think that will work, it will catch up with me. Urgh

MooBaggage · 11/04/2025 17:26

I'd try it - see if it makes a difference.

A full 5mg pen = 20 mg (4 doses not including the 'golden' dose).

That means you'd get just under 2 x doses of 6.5mg (13mg) and 1 x dose of 7mg - this is probably what I'd do.

A 5mg dose = 60 clicks.
So 1mg = 12 clicks
So 6.5mg = 78 clicks
Then the 4th dose would be 84 clicks.

Then use the golden dose, which will probably be over 5mg - you'd need to measure with a syringe.

MooBaggage · 11/04/2025 17:28

(Not just under - ignore that bit - had started calcuating on just under 3 x doses of 7mg!)

Fatmumslim01 · 11/04/2025 19:31

Can I join please? started 3 weeks today

SW 14-7
CW 13-13 am pleased!
GW probably around 9 but aiming for 11-6 for now as a mini target as that was my pre covid weight and I put on lots of weight in COVID

In all honestly, I think I would just discuss with your doctor, get the support you need either NHS and if not, privately like a lot of us are. There is a real danger of you giving yourself either ineffective doses or worse risking untraceable doses or bad reactions. Many people do end up in A&E and most of these are with side effects or incorrect doses. This drug is wonderful, the system (NHs) is not right now, but don’t let that affect your chances with the drug. Xxx

Thinking about Easter treats 🤔💭🐣

Have any of you thought about how you may tackle this?
I have been really good in general and not fancied chocolate, found it mostly easy to turn down treats. I have made my own dark chocolate peanut butter cup which have hit the spot occasionally. I have mostly avoided milk chocolate and sugary things.

However, I love Easter chocolate. Egg shaped chocolate tastes so much better. I don’t want to denie myself, but don’t want to ‘break the seal’ incase it is hard to stop again. Also concerned eating chocolate like I used to may give severe side effects?
Do you plan of eating an Easter egg this year?
My kids will begrudgingly share crumbs only 😆

I do not miss chocolate at all which is full on weird because I was in the minimum 1 chocolate bar a day camp before MJ, so the fact i dont even think about it now is beyond odd. So I’ve asked for bright flowers from anyone who’s asked what I want.

How about getting something like these sets of fancy pants small eggs and sharing them with DH?

I've got a mini eggs one. That way I can eat the mini eggs slowly and I expect the teen won't say no to my chocolate egg. My youngest really doesn't like chocolate so they usually get a tub of haribo instead.

QueenOfHiraeth · 11/04/2025 23:10

I've been trying to refuse restriction so have been trying to convince myself I can be "normal" and have a little bit of whatever I fancy. I must admit I am finding it harder to moderate as I get further away from my initial MJ excitement so how will I deal with Easter eggs, who knows? My aim will be to have a little but not too much, I will let you know how that goes but I do not want to feel deprived, I've done that too often in the past and got fatter as a result!
I have bought eggs for all the family but am hoping I'll get something little but not too much!

dimples76 · 12/04/2025 03:51

In general chocolate is no longer very appealing to me but I think being surrounded by others eating it may lead me to crack. I'm hosting a brunch and egg hunt on Easter Sunday so there will be about 6 children on.a chocolate rampage. I think I might put a handful of the eggs for me in the fridge in case but I am hoping that I won't need/want to touch them

I finally figured out how to use the scales at my gym and things are heading in the right direction- 13kg down in 12 weeks. I am very pleased with that. I can't remember who was asking but I am generally not calorie counting either. Some days I do just to check that my instincts are right but I know that I am making healthier choices, eating a lot less and not snacking apart from the occasional piece of fruit.

This next couple of weeks is going to be more of a challenge as apart from two days I am on hols with the DCs which means that there will be limited opportunity to go to the gym and I will be spending a lot of time in places with only unhealthy food options. I'm planning to do my online zumba work outs each morning and make sure that I carry lots of water and some healthy snacks wherever we go ...

MooBaggage · 12/04/2025 07:04

I'm kind of lucky in that I'm coeliac (diagnosed in 2006) and was diagnosed with secondary lactase deficiency about 18 months ago, so have to be both gluten and lactose free - so most chocolate is out for me anyway 🙄 I used to love it...! My go to treat was always Haribo-type stuff, but the MJ has removed all cravings so I haven't had a single sweet since January 13th 😮

I'll be getting my boys an Easter egg each - they're only 23 and 21 so I can't stop yet...! 😄

InfoSecInTheCity · 12/04/2025 07:10

The scales are playing ping pong with the same lb this last couple of weeks. Looking forward to the right side winning.

I used to buy eggs over and over again on the run up to Easter and eat them all. I’ve only had one small piece of chocolate since starting last June & it tasted horrible, Now even the thought of having any makes me feel ill.
@MooBaggage I’ve bought my two daughters an egg each, They would be devastated if I didn’t and would constantly let me know how much I didn’t love them anymore if I didn’t… Age 19 & 29 😂
