Wow who would have thought it

We are doing so well. 7mths

Hugs all the auggies and all of us have lost a fair amount of weight

Some still have weight to lose myself included

Equally a few are nearing their healthy bmi or have reached it and thinking about maintaining

And all I can say is an elephants penis 😂😂😂

Well done on all the losses! Been feeling stuck for a while but got to under 9 stone.

Wow, what a difference. You must feel great.

owlyboo · 01/03/2025 17:40

Well done @SilverSprings510

I sts as expected this week but like you said @Blondeshavemorefun I should really call in maintained now I'm a goal but obvs would like to lose another couple pounds if possible!

NippyNinjaCrab · 01/03/2025 17:52

Carbs are killing me lol. I've chucked the rest of that loaf out! This morning I had fruit and yoghurt and that was at 7. It was about half 2 and I thought oh I better eat something so I don't like waste, aka I wanted a sandwich even though it's fucking up my insides! I thought well I'll have a super sonic lunch and maybe have a shake later, this is a long story boring BTW.
I had sliced egg, tomato, ham, chicken, cheese and salad cream lol. Ate that and by half 4 - 5pm i felt hungry! Damn the carbs and bread.
Shows what it does to your body, the first thing that popped into my head for food was pasta!!! Ffs!!
No more bread, makes me fart and have stomach bloats and cramps but I love this loaf! The smell, the texture the taste yummmmm. Little bread junkie!!

I'm going to Jab tonight to take my levels up a bit because although I'm eating okayish I'm giving in to the carbs, also because I've not felt great I've eaten. But I'm wary of jabbing and lowering my mood ffs, it's such a vicious circle. It shows how easy it is to put weight back on. I feel bloated, and spongy. I've been active though x

Azuresky68 · 01/03/2025 18:50

@NippyNinjaCrab I think that bread will have a high sugar content. Wondering do you have a condition that makes it bad to eat bread and other carbs? Can you have a small wrap instead of bread or a very thin omelette to use as a wrap?

Azuresky68 · 01/03/2025 18:54

@4pink1bluegreat to see a photo. Size 12 is brilliant too!

Azuresky68 · 01/03/2025 18:59

I mentioned I took over 15 mg last night..bonus dose of 8 mls with syringe. Not great in that I feel really sick and can't eat a thing! Won't be taking anymore 15 mg or more..it was probably more than 16 mg...wonder what happens if you seriously overdose on MJ. I was foolish I know 😱

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2025 20:09

Well done for maintaining 🌟😛😛 @owlyboo

@NippyNinjaCrab I have similar but via Aldi. It’s bloody lush. Love it

@Azuresky68 sorry feel poorly

Urgh! this entire month I’ve gained and lost the same 1-2lbs. And I’m eating chocolate more often, within my calories, but still I wasn’t needing it before. Been a bit fed up since Christmas and I haven’t really been that active so that’s probably the issue. Also, probably the reason why I’ve got such a sluggish tummy at the moment.

I’m obviously thrilled that I’ve lost four stone, but I was hoping by my birthday next week I’d have lost 5. Just got to keep the perspective that I have actually lost a damn lot and I’m doing well but the plateau isn’t helping the motivation.🥺🥺

NippyNinjaCrab · 01/03/2025 21:56

@Azuresky68 I don't have a condition that I'm aware of or been to see about but I've always had colon issues with bread and too much pasta. Makes me bloat and sluggish and windy. I don't normally have bread but it's all DH fault!! He wanted a loaf when he was home and of he had chosen a white bloomer or a tiger bloomer I wouldn't eat that! But this... terrible, love it. @Blondeshavemorefun I love Aldi bread too, 🍞

I normally wouldn't have a wrap just crackers but I do like a wrap made with iceberg lettuce, my body hates that too but i love it, even just chopped up it's lovely.

1st of March and I'm in the zone again. Back to 7lbs to my next goal. Here we go again lovelies 😘

Hope everyone is having a good night

@Blondeshavemorefun I'm so sorry I forgot to ask you a wee while ago regarding your knee appointment and now there's no PMs i couldn't. Did it go well? I found when I was off Naproxen after a fracture I really felt a difference without it, it definitely works. X

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2025 23:39

@Mum0ntherun sorry been a bad month. Think how well you have done with 4s

what dose are you on and maybe toke to go up ?

knee top cheese wants me to have an X-ray or mri to check the damage - still waiting for that app 🙄

but yes sometimes we may feel naproxen or Co codimal isn’t working /helping but if come off it as I had to do for 48hrs - you releise how much you do Benefit from it and it is helping

also miss pm’s

Mum0ntherun · 02/03/2025 00:15

@Blondeshavemorefun im on my 2nd 7.5 which hasn't worked nearly as well as 5 did - I feel bloated and sluggish all the time. I'm due to order the next one by the end of next week so need to decide what to do. Likely move up to 10mg. Just worried it'll be even worse as I feel weighed down all the time but still eating.

I'm putting off getting my knee sorted until after ive lost the weight. MJ has helped with the osteoarthritis incredibly.

@Mum0ntherun lots of us have had plateaus re our weight loss, it's very frustrating. Four stone is an amazing loss though, keep going!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2025 10:20

@Mum0ntherun yes I think mj has helped with the pain rather then weight loss. Yes still hurts but it’s less

dd really likes piggy backs at the moment and I’m struggling in carrying her and she’s 3s 4 I think. I know iv lost over her weight so I do think how did I manage to walk /move at 17s + 🙀🙀🥲🥲

there are threads about mj and other benifits and if reducing pain and inflammation is a bonus - then I want to stay on it forever. But obv at a lower cheaper dose once lost the other stones

@Mum0ntherun sure I’ve read a few times people struggled on 7.5 but ok on 10

I’ve had a few sts and it’s annoying

Hey everyone!

I got a weigh in of 83.6kg today, first time below 84 since 2018 when I briefly managed to get into the 81s.

This means I am 20kg or over 3 stone down in 6 and a bit months. Still quite a way to go, I reckon another 10kg, maybe more, depending how I feel. I did a methreesixty scan and was quite surprised by the results, I will see if I can post an image.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2025 17:35

AuntieDote · 02/03/2025 17:56

My BMI is also 27 @Blondeshavemorefun - though only need another stone to get to top end of healthy bmi - I didn’t initially think I’d get there but I’m going to aim for that, or a couple of pounds below, now.

That’s a great change @WorriedRelative !

I had a nice NSV today. 2 years ago my MIL gave DH - to give to me - a ring that was his gran’s. It blends with my wedding and engagement rings well but was far too small and we’ve been meaning to get it resized ever since but for one reason or another never got round to it. I got it out today thinking I’ll take it in next week, I might need to get my wedding and engagements rings sized down anyways as they’re very lose lately. Anyway gran’s ring now fits perfectly, and is quite good sitting on top of my other two because it’s just snug enough to hold them in place and stop them flapping around!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2025 18:42

That’s nice about ring @AuntieDote

my fingers have shrunk - rings lose and first wedding ring was too tight and wouidnt fit over finger when I tried it last year

fits fine now

I was a j when got married first time. Think M 2nd

but

wow some of the replies and misinformation some still have on /about mj

some still lie to get it

and 12/14 is fat apparently

Just ordered next pens. Ordered a bundle of 15 (one final month to lose hopefully the last couple of pounds I would ideally like) then a 12.5 and 10 to start going into maintenance 🤞

Hopefully it'll get approved to go back down the doses. Pretty sure it will. Was expensive as no promo code this month but still cheaper than buying the individual so I figured take the hit.

I think as I have gone up to the highest dose it's probably important I spend the time (and money) to go back down the doses properly to hopefully not have a sudden withdrawal and massive hunger.

Met up with a friend and her dh I haven't seen for around 4 months today and she didn't recognise me to begin with from afar. I heard her say 'i can't see them anywhere' whilst I was waving at her and she was looking at me, so I shouted her name. She was flabbergasted with the change said I look completely different (in a good way all very positive) she did ask me if I had had any help and mentioned weight loss injections. I feel awful but I lied. Her DH is friends with my exH (more friendly with me but still) and I just worried it could get back to him and I didn't want him knowing my business! I hate lying but it's so personal
Isn't it. She wouldn't have given a flying fuck that I have had help so that's why I felt bad lying! Anyway she was so lovely and so full of praises left with a very big head! (And thigh gap according to her!)

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend and that thread is 🤢 @Blondeshavemorefun

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2025 23:02

Tbh it’s not lying as we still have to do the hard work. Still have for count cals / diet - eat less - not eat anything we want

in My case I don’t get the total switch off that many get and not want to eat ‘bad’ foods

I rarely get suppression and if so it’s for a day

we are losing 1-3lbs on average a week

hoping as 15 next week - I will see a change

and if you don’t want ex to know then fair enough

OP posts:
owlyboo · 02/03/2025 23:06

Thanks @Blondeshavemorefun and yes that's very true. I said I've cut calories and been walking lots so like you say if I hadn't done that and taken the MJ it wouldn't have made a difference.

And no I wouldn't want exH to know. None of his business. I know they wouldn't say anything anyway but i just felt uncomfortable saying it and felt a very small risk!

I get a lot of food suppression but i do still eat some crap like crisps so you're not alone @Blondeshavemorefun !! I enjoy crisps and know I'll eat them after MJ so better to eat them in moderation now I figure! Hope you've had a nice weekend with mini blondes!
