We are doing so well. 7mths

Hugs all the auggies and all of us have lost a fair amount of weight

Some still have weight to lose myself included

Equally a few are nearing their healthy bmi or have reached it and thinking about maintaining

And all I can say is an elephants penis 😂😂😂

@AuntieDote if you can wear women's hats your head is not that big!!!!

I have a huge head, I can't wear hats at all, sometimes men's hats are ok but often they are small too. For my horse riding helmet my size is too big to buy from some companies, and in most of the rest it is the largest size available.

Maybe it’s not so huge then! Often they are too small to be fair, but there are some that fit at least

NSV is that I’ve lost a total of around 30 inches from various parts of my body, most of the inches have been lost around the waist and hips 🤩 my waist to height ratio is 0.55, is that good? Is it supposed to be 0.5?

@Blondeshavemorefun I had my first order with Oushk in Jan and was so unimpressed by the packaging. Apparently a recent change, massive stink kicked up in their FB group (?!) so they now offer 'discreet' packaging for an extra 50p as you say.

Really unimpressed to be honest. Pretty much everywhere else uses a plain cardboard box or bag. I've ordered from them again this month as I didn't have the headspace to switch, but think I'll be finding a new supplier as I'm not a fan of the branded packaging. It's not at all discreet!

Hello all - hope you’re all ok and those who’ve been ill are feeling a bit better soon. Interesting the chat around waist to height ratio, think I worked mine out at .55 which is odd given I have another 4-5 stone to loose.

I’m still plodding loosing about 1lb per week, but it’s all in the right direction I suppose. 2st 6lb loss since August, but 7 inch loss from my waist. Like others I’ve got the delightful apron below that and don’t expect to ever loose it, just hoping it pipes down a bit!

The apron is further enhanced by the sticky patchwork remains of my HRT patches, which I know I can remove with nail polish remover, but that also ruins my nails haha.

Just a quick update. When I ordered my new pen from Oushk I asked if there was a charge for plain packaging then said if there was I didn't want to pay extra for it. They are sending it in plain wirh no extra charge. Maybe because I have been a customer since September. I am not too bothered about it being in branded to be honest but why on earth are they charging more for plain!! I would be REALLY annoyed about the person delivering making a comment! I wouldn't report them though because I don't think their jobs are easy and it didn't sound malicious. It is easy to say after the event, but I might have said something to the guy who delivered but I would have probably been so shocked I would have been lost for words!

Not due to weigh until Sunday but feeling like my body has decided I can't go any lower than 9 stone 1 😩

Meant to say I completly get why people want discreet packaging by the way and I really don't understand why Oushk has decided on branded packaging...surely it costs more? Sound like they have paid a marketing consultant about raising their brand awarenes as it's a small company?

Hi ladies. Been AWOL as I'm struggling a bit with self image. I know I'm losing weight but i can't stop seeing myself as plus size. I've been taking soooo many pics as it's the only way I can see a difference. Every time I look at clothing in my new size I can't see how they will fit....and they do! I feel like an idiot - i should be happy but I'm not. What is wrong with me???
To prove my point - 1st pic is denim shorts from August with a skirt that arrived today. Which i looked at and dismissed as being too small. 2nd pic is me wearing the skirt!! Why am I like this??

It's not that. I can't see myself as 6 stone smaller. I thought I'd be happy but I'm not. I'm finding it harder than I thought. Maybe it's just diet fatigue....I still have such a long way to go and it feels like I've been on it forever. 😕

@4pink1blue I am also having diet fatigue. I hear you! You will take time to adjust to the new you, it's like us in a different vessel haha. You look fabulous. I've got 4lbs to get to goal, another 7 and I'm in a safe zone so I said to DH I'm now on a low low dose and my mood has lifted, and I'm going to concentrate on some fitness and toning as much as my chronic disabilities will allow of course. 😆

@NippyNinjaCrab You don't know how good it is to hear you say you understand/feel the same!!! I'm feeling so odd....I should be grateful/happy/proud but I'm depressed!! Hopefully I'll perk up soon because I genuinely feel rubbish 😞

Not so much with how i feel I look just feel so anxious and pretty down. It's my birthday tomorrow which I think is adding to the blue feeling and just generally feeling pretty overwhelmed and lonely.

Sorry others are also feeling shit. Hopefully all our moods improve soon as it's a rubbish feeling!

Sorry to hear how many of you are feeling down. whilst feeling relatively perky today, I can certainly relate to what you're all saying. Everyone's experience will be different, of course, but for me - along with all the amazing positives of losing weight and feeling so much better about it, there are lots of issues and other types of losses along the way.

• I feel sad that my body looks a bit sad, flabby and wrecked and I wish I hadn't put myself through all the weight and eating struggles that led to this, even though being sad, flabby and wrecked is way better than being obese!
• i feel sad that this has taken up so much headspace for me for decades and I wonder what life would have been if I hadn't been anxious and ashamed about myself all the time
• I feel annoyed when people notice I've lost weight because it means they noticed I was fat before (as if this was a mystery!!)
• I think there were loads of reasons I've struggled with weight and eating, some down to me and some not, but undoubtedly it's been a way of me dealing with stuff and that's been taken away
• I've spent a lot of my life thinking that life would be so much better if I were thin - well, now I am, and for me - it's not miraculously transformed (even though there are lots of small ways it's immeasurably better, but I haven't suddenly become rich, popular, super successful and greatly loved - swizz! Of course, this didn't happen to me in the past when I was thin either)
• Anticipating and planning any journey is often better than arriving
• I've done enough diets to know I'm not a normal person now and I can't go back to relaxed eating ever, which I'm cross about as I love eating!

So is being thinner better than being fatter? A million times yes. Is it the answer to every problem in life? No. Even though my whole life people have often treated me as if it was. I feel it's important to acknowledge all these feelings personally. But I also like to see you ladies feeling chipper and pleased with yourselves!
