I’m down to 12:5 today, so 16 pounds lost since 8 Jan. Obviously the weight loss is slowing now but I’m happy with two pounds a week.
Unlike many, I don’t bother counting calories on the medication. I just don’t feel like I need to. I eat whatever I want whenever I want and let the meds do their thing. Aside from focusing more on protein, I haven’t really adjusted what I eat, just the quantity.
That isn’t feeling like deprivation in any way because I’m eating as much as I want. I just don’t want as much. I guess I am just getting really good suppression?
I’m out for lunch with friends today, some know, they might all know. There is one who struggles dreadfully with her weight who might be challenging, but my plan is to underplay it. Yeah, WLI, yeah, so what? Talk about it as little as possible, maybe not at all if I am lucky!
