Just approved and am assuming that the pen won’t arrive until after Christmas so will start the new year with a, er, prick.

Anyway, thought I’d start a thread for anyone else planning on a slimmer 2025!

Is anyone here on zoladex, by any chance? I've just realised that I totally forgot to declare this when filling out the questionnaire for the prescription (blame my menopause brain!), and now I'm worrying about drug interactions. From a quick look, there doesn't appear to be an issue, but would be interested to hear if anyone knows anything.

I always feel a bit sheepish when accepting the parcel and wonder if my postie knows what it is😅

Argh! I ordered from Simple Online Pharmacy last Wednesday and had everything approved on Friday but still no pen. I got cross at them fobbing me off and asked to cancel if it wasn’t sent today as they’d told me, just had an email confirming cancellation and no one else seems to be able to turn things around quickly! Has anyone managed to order from anyone who has a quick turnaround please? Had hoped to start before being back at work in case of side effects 🥺

I ordered from MedExpress on 23/12 and was approved the same day. Due to delays and Christmas bank holidays it got sent out on Saturday 28/12 and I received it next day Sunday 29/12.

All in all I think they're pretty fast.

So, day 2, muscle soreness/tenderness less than yesterday, think it'll be gone tomorrow but weird side effect. Will be keeping an eye on this to see if it happens after the next jab.
No hunger at all, just eaten for the first time today and only because I thought that I should. Became freezing cold last night but I got my heated blanket out and soon warmed up. If that's all the side effects that I get, I can live with that!

I had a bit of the muscle soreness as well. I put it down to being a bit colder than usual and tensing my muscles a bit.

Also cold here...

Just finished lunch - smoked salmon and eggs. First thing I've eaten today.

Am going to have some fizz tonight. And have accounted for it in my calorie tracking. Hoping I will avoid the usual snacking that goes alongside a drink. It feels like I might ...

I have around 6.5 stone to lose, and I have just had my first pen delivered and it's in the fridge waiting. I'm not 100% sure when to start.

I'm eager to start losing, but I'm debating whether start today/tomorrow and not enjoy one last bank holiday? Or to just crack on.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom or advice?

Mine was delivered about an hour ago and I immediately got to work with it. I’m a bit needle-phobic so I had to just get it over and done with before I had time to think about it. It was so much easier than I was expecting and I didn’t feel a thing. Now we wait…

Glad to hear some are having no side effects. I've got my own waiting in the fridge but can't decide the best time to start, am/pm weekday or weekend??

I started Sunday as I'd done enough Xmas eating, am not going out tonight and wanted to get underway before going back to work on Thursday.

I have just done my first dose, i want to lose 3-4 stone as i have put on 1.5 stone in the past 2 months, it's the snacking and overeating i suffer with. I'm also going back to slimming world so let's see what happens.
Today's weight 16st 10lbs

So I'm not going out tonight, not a partier. Plan for tomorrow was brunch/walk or chilling out. Work on Thursday and Friday. So maybe doing first dose tonight would work?

Hi, I ordered 7.5mg on Saturday night from MedExpress. Approved Sunday and due to be delivered today so fairly swift. I am surprised to see that they were working on Sunday. However not sure how long would it take for a new starter. Hopefully you'll be able to get it ordered and delivered fairly swiftly and start your journey 😊.

Injected my first dose last Friday and promised myself I would only weigh myself once a week. Today I simply couldn't help myself and found myself on the scales. I looked down and OMG I'm weighing 6lbs lighter. Promptly burst into happy tears!

I've tried everything to shift the scale dial. I eat well and exercise, but PCOS and peri-menopause have taken control of my body! I'm a typical apple. Big jelly belly, slimmer arms and legs. I've felt at a loss for ages BUT I think MJ might just be fighting back for me. 🙌

I'm really hoping this continues and I'm not just having a blip. I've not changed my eating habits and I've had no side effects. I even started thinking I hadn't injected correctly.

I still can't believe it. This could work. 🤞🤞🤞
My fingers and toes are crossed for everyone.

I have my pen waiting in the fridge and I'm debating whether to go for it tomorrow or 2nd as I've got at least 2 hours in the car on Thursday. I've got 5 stone to lose which has crept on over the years but especially after menopause and having 2 hip replacements.

I'm definitely feeling inspired and encouraged by reading all your posts so here's to a lighter 2025 for all of us

Hey, so finally did the injection today. Feel ok, although overthinking any symptom.

I bit the bullet and did it! Easier than I expected and not a huge deal with the needle.

Are others following a specific eating plan with it? I want to work along with it as best I can.
