Expiry Dates Thread for Mounjaro MJ

I wonder if anyone else would be interested in a specific thread where we can note the expiry dates we are being issued and by which supplier?

Also, if you know how long they might let you go between placing orders.

I currently have a bit of a stockpile due to some offers and previous concern about maintenance, so need to be mindful of my expiry dates whilst maintaining a relationship with my favoured pharmacy for future maintenance.

I have 7.5mg dated 04/25, 10mg and 12.5mg dated 11/25, and 15mg dated 08/25. Are there any later dates being dispensed currently?

My 5mg pen from Oxford Online Pharmacy which I'm using at the minute is 11/25. Can't remember what month my 2.5mg one was but it was definitely something in 2025

My 5mg from Oushk delivered today was dated 11/25.

Also when I did a recent order they wanted you to explain the reason if you had over a 6 week gap between orders.

Ordered a 7.5 from med express very late Sunday night, delivered today. November 25 date.

Just coming back in case anyone else is still interested. I have received a 12.5mg dated 04/26 from Pharmulous. I emailed asking the expiry date for 15mg, which they said was currently 02/26.

As usual, they were very fast and it was received the day after ordering, well packaged with the large ice pack still frozen.

@Swissrollover i was on mounjaro and paused as im doing ivf but im actually so borderline eligible that im scared ill lose eligibility if I stop so I too am stockpiling!

I have:
2.5mg recently ordered med express - exp 08/25
5mg recently ordered med express - exp 02/26

It seems the higher the dose the further the exp date? Maybe as the higher doses are more popular. So I'm thinking of starting to order higher doses for longer expiry and then move back down 😬

Unfortunately, I don't think it always works that way with the MJ dates, and currently those higher doses seem to be in a temporary shortage with some suppliers at the moment. Hopefully some even longer dates will emerge soon.

@Swissrollover if you see any new ones let me know. Actually I've been watching TikTok mounjaro unboxing videos trying to see the dates. I watched one earlier 7.5mg and I swear it said exp 03/26 med express

I could start asking the people 😅

@spttc I had to triple-check, as I just got a 10mg from Pharmulous dated 11/26!

@Swissrollover ah thank you. 10mg might be a good one for me to stock then. Last one I got from med express was 7.5mg 03/26 so 10/26 is a good jump. I'm actually pregnant now (just barely) so the stock is going to build

Anyone used pen past 30 days even though its refrigerated...is it safe to use plus 2 month golden doses?

@Trb68 no one can say it’s safe. The manufacturer says to discard after 30 days, anything beyond that they can’t guarantee that the medicaiton is effective and free from contamination. The risk of it being less effective and having more germs in it increases the longer the pen is open. You can reduce those risks by being scrupulous with hygiene when handling the pen, and by keeping it in the fridge. But whether you take those risks is up to you alone. For me, I would not use medication that’s 2 months past the 30 day discard date.

Latest 5mg from Ashcroft - 1/27

I usually reorder ever 4-5 weeks. I've never tried to push any longer and not sure of their official policy.

Anyone still using this thread? Keen to know the latest expiry dates being delivered, especially for 7.5mg and 10mg. Currently using medexpress, but would change for longer expiry dates.

The 5mg pens I got in August 25 were dated January 27, however the 5mg pens I got this month from Bolt and Lloyd's were November 2026.

Similar here from Cloud 5mg. I previously had 02/27 back in September, but my most recent this month was 11/26.

7.5mg received from Oushk on Thursday was 11/26

7.5 received today from MedExpress dated 12/26

All the pens I've had this last few months have been 03/27.
We'll all be looking for old stock when Lilly change the pen design!

This is the shortest expiry I have received to date, but I intend to use it next month so not an issue.

I have been getting 5mg with pens with dates in early 2027 from Oushk, but latest pen was oddly November 2026.

I just got a 10mg pen 9/26

My recent 10mg from medexpress was 9/26. I was so mad. Especially after the last three have been 3/27. It feels like everyone is having a clear out of old stock.
