Well I just finished showering /dressing and walked into the living room, in lounging clothes I may add so not dressed up , and my husband says, “you look lovely, you can really tell you’ve lost weight, no wonder so many people are using the drugs, with results like that” .
he knows I’d struggled to lose before, obviously, and we were discussing last night how so many are now on them.
and I think it’s true, as so many people are visibly loosing weight, and becoming way healthier, I for example, visibly look healthier, with all the puffiness and bloating gone, it’s going to encourage more and more to do it,
I mean sure, the forum is littered with fools havering on about cheating etc, but the acceptance levels are going to be enormous for these drugs I think.
and change the face of modern medicine, when you reduce obesity, you reduce cancer, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, joint replacements etc, you free up space in doctors surgeries , hospitals etc,
fast food demand will decline, a new demand for healthy fast food taking over. Gyms will see an increase in people actually going to the gym. Membership increases, As fit and toned will be the new aspiration. Not slim.
clothing in smaller sizes will increase in demand, as fewer people need the bigger sizes.
right now cost is a prohibitor for many, but that’s going to change over the next few years.
ultimately no one wants to be fat. No matter how folks shout about body positivity, no one wants to be fat. And no one wants to keep struggling to lose weight and keep it off. The painful hamster wheel of dieting.
