If you look at monj.co.uk they have the best prices for each site with discount codes. I have never paid more than £135 including p and p.

Thanks I'm off to look now, even if it's 20 quid cheaper I'd be happy, I've got a 7.5 in the fridge and a 5 mil in the fridge because I panicked and thought I'll stay on 5 mil for abit longer, but now I wish I did go up to 7.5, how do you finds out how many clicks is so much? Do you know? I've tried to look for the post I can't find it! Xx

@coll444 I went with asda to start as was the only name I really knew.. but changed for the rest, zava for my 2nd with a code from the code thread and med express again with a code . I will change again for my next one too.

Asda are through zava so felt happy with that. But if you look at mounj.co.uk website there is loads on there and you can see the prices..

Think I may try IQ doctor next.. seems cheaper.

Thank you xxx

bit the bullet and just did my first 7.5mg for over Xmas week.

Ooh well done! I’m on my bonus 5mg dose tomorrow and hitting January with 7.5mg. I’ll be reading to see how you get on :)

A full dose is 60 clicks, so its either 15, 30 or 45 clicks for quarter, half or three quarters.

@coll444 my first pen was with The slimming clinic but their customer service was awful so I would avoid them. I got pen 5, 7.5 and 10 all from IQ doctor.

Pen prices
Pen 5mg = £110.86
Pen 7.5mg = £131.11
Pen 10mg = £135.77

Wow. I paid 190 from med express for ten mg. They did a price match for Ashcroft so it netted down to 145, but they charge 190. but they now only price match I see for a handful of the most expensive suppliers, so basically don’t,price match.

however I just looked at iq doctor and its 162 for 7.5 and 165 for 10mg?

I was thinking cloud for my next pen as they offer maintenance. Do you know anything about iq doctor, are they offering maintenance?

Did you use the IQ doctor discount code? They have a new one every month. It’s always on that monj.co.uk website.

I haven’t even looked into maintenance yet as I’m a few stone off.

Ah ok, thank you.,,wasn’t aware of that…

YummyCookie · 22/12/2024 21:14

Very disappointing to see MedExpress have changed their criteria, again 🙄 I have had all of my pens from there so far and I’ve only got about a stone left to lose. I need to start looking at maintenance I guess now.

Yes they are now one of the most expensive and don’t do maintenance. I’m not going to buy from them again, I want to move to a supplier who is reasonably priced, doesn’t need to be the cheapest and who does maintenance. I’ve still two and a half stone to go. I don’t really change suppliers , preferring to just stay for simplicity, but medexpress have left me with no choice.

AllstarFacilier · 22/12/2024 21:26

Does IQ doctors do the maintenance? I’ve been ordering with them and using a code each month

ItsMintUpNorth · 22/12/2024 21:48

@coll444 if it's not too late and you want a code for Zava I've got a referral code for 25% off, just let me know and I can PM to you.
I started with Zava and have moved to IQ doctor (£118 for my most recent 7.5mg) and been happy with both so far but I'm a long way from maintenance so that isn't a consideration for me currently.

What have they changed?

What have they changed?

They only price match from a number of chemists now, the expensive ones. Like Asda, Superdrug, Oxford etc.

envbeckyc · 23/12/2024 00:22

I am getting close to my target weight so I think I have probably ordered my last pen - I have used med express but go via a cashback website to get a few pounds off the price. I haven’t tried to get money via the referral scheme and have just used medexpress for my orders.

I am quite nervous for Christmas Day as I am hosting the extended family, so I have chosen a seafood platter for a starter, but will be cooking lasagne (from scratch) for the main course with extra Italian dishes, cheeseboard, and Christmas pudding / Yule log etc…. No one knows I am taking the injection to loose weight, so hoping no one notices that I only eat a much smaller amount of food, and alcohol this Christmas!

I dropped my injection from 5mg to 2.5mg this month and found the appetite suppression has slightly dropped but I have eaten cakes or chocolate since I started in October so I worry how I will fit in over Christmas when there is much more expectation to eat and drink?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it less obvious you’re not really drinking or eating very much? I was thinking that I would just take small portions and be the glass topper up, so no one notices that I am am nursing the same glass of wine all day!

I doubt anyone will notice and if they do just say you are eating smaller portions these days.

UpUpUpU · 23/12/2024 03:38

I had a fabulous first world problem yesterday!

went out for a big family dinner. I wanted to wear my Christmas jumper so needed some trousers to go with it. Dug out a nice pair of smart grey trousers and was hopeful I could do them up as I haven’t been able to get them on in the last year…

They were so big! They don’t have belt loops so was pulling them up all day! To add to it, my jumper was too big too and I felt like such a scruff!

So off shopping in the Boxing Day sales for me!

Losingthetimber · 23/12/2024 07:07

Well I finally hit the 2 stone off today! On sat I was 0.4 of a pound off it, today I’ve lost 2 stone and 0.2 of a pound! 12.12.02 stone. Whoop.

So I’ve now to lose another 2 stone 5 .2 pounds to get to my 10st 7 target,

@UpUpUpU congrats! It’s a lovely feeling isn’t it, and a surprising one when it happens.

I can fit into my size 12s now, still a bit tight, but not horribly so. However I still look fat as fuck on the ring camera. No one else looks fat on it, so clearly that’s what I look like. Sigh.

Which considering I’m nearly13 stone, makes dismaying sense.

letshavetea · 23/12/2024 07:36

Morning everyone! I took injection 13 yesterday (3.75mg again as it’s Christmas and still getting nausea after injecting).

I’m down another pound today making the princely sum of 9 and 3/4 pounds since the beginning of October. I must be one of the slowest losers! I’m pleased that I’m so near the the 11 stone something on the scales though! My finish date on my Monitor My Weight app is now in August not March!

lapuf · 23/12/2024 07:40

Well done @letshavetea 👏
I'm slowish too, but we'll get there!
I also did 3.75 last night, debating a move to 5 next weekend, although suppression was lower it was bearable yesterday so may stick!

letshavetea · 23/12/2024 07:41

@UpUpUpU and @Losingthetimber congratulations on the losses. New clothes shopping will be such fun!
Re looking fat - that’s going to be one of my measures of success - how I look in photos, mirrors etc. I still look fat at 12 stone 1 lb.
NSV was fitting into my size 14 French connection jeans again (tight, but they do up!).

Agree, shopping for new smaller sized clothes in the Christmas sales will be fun!

Starting the jab in October seems perfectly timed to take advantage of them!

I will be going back down to 5mg after this week, I just wanted some extra suppression over Xmas week as we have a load of nice food.

So far since Iv took the jab Iv had the 💩! Not constant but a bad stomach on the evening last night and I have mild nausea, it’s not bad enough that I can’t do anything though so il fight through it.

Currently packing as we are going to a lodge for this week today, I could do without nausea but no pain no gain🤣

@coll444 I get mine from Cloud Pharmacy, I don’t see them mentioned much on the MJ threads but, up to now, the delivery has been super quick and I think they are pretty competitive.

Losingthetimber · 23/12/2024 11:35

Well I just finished showering /dressing and walked into the living room, in lounging clothes I may add so not dressed up , and my husband says, “you look lovely, you can really tell you’ve lost weight, no wonder so many people are using the drugs, with results like that” .

he knows I’d struggled to lose before, obviously, and we were discussing last night how so many are now on them.

and I think it’s true, as so many people are visibly loosing weight, and becoming way healthier, I for example, visibly look healthier, with all the puffiness and bloating gone, it’s going to encourage more and more to do it,

I mean sure, the forum is littered with fools havering on about cheating etc, but the acceptance levels are going to be enormous for these drugs I think.

and change the face of modern medicine, when you reduce obesity, you reduce cancer, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, joint replacements etc, you free up space in doctors surgeries , hospitals etc,

fast food demand will decline, a new demand for healthy fast food taking over. Gyms will see an increase in people actually going to the gym. Membership increases, As fit and toned will be the new aspiration. Not slim.

clothing in smaller sizes will increase in demand, as fewer people need the bigger sizes.

right now cost is a prohibitor for many, but that’s going to change over the next few years.

ultimately no one wants to be fat. No matter how folks shout about body positivity, no one wants to be fat. And no one wants to keep struggling to lose weight and keep it off. The painful hamster wheel of dieting.
