Currently feeling like a very fat pig after all the food I've attempted to stuff the past couple of days. It was injection day today and I honestly feel like I've put on 10ibs lol!

Not going to weigh myself until I've gone to the toilet and let everything I've eaten digest properly 🤣

Last I weighed was just over 10st so hoping inly a couple of ibs have been gained (fingers crossed)

Did you see all the articles in the Guardian today about the 'wild west' of online pharmacies advertising and selling mj and the other slimming drugs? The evils of price promotions. Hope they don't clamp down too hard!!

No?

Losingthetimber · 27/12/2024 06:44

@Fizzleawayy …we maybe close to needing another thread 😄

NearlyNewHip · 27/12/2024 06:56

Oh dear.....I did something really childish and stupid and am now paying the price!!!!
Thought I was being really clever and didn't eat anything yesterday to 'save' myself for a box of Ferrero Rocher in the evening while watching the telly.....
Woke myself up at about 5 needing the loo and now have the shits!!! All self inflicted and laughing at myself while running back and for to the loo. The other box is deffo going in to work for the always starving youngsters to share (I'm sure Father Christmas won't mind me passing them along.)

Oh dear, just read the article. Not sure why they compare it to high blood pressure and asthma medication, that is available on the NHS, so of course there isn’t high demand for it privately. Their main concern seems to be that pharmacies are offering discounts to encourage you to shop with them, from most people’s perspective I am sure this is fine so they can get the best deal.
I am under no illusions that the pharmaceutical industry is trying to maximise profit but the demand is there regardless. Anyway just in case they do clamp down `I am off to order my next pen as Oushk who I want to do maintenance with are offering a 20% discount making them quite competitive.
i always check. Monj.co.uk for best prices.

Shrinking waistlines and growing profits: the weight-loss drug boom

Drugs such as Wegovy amd Mounjaro are an attractive prospect for online businesses and traditional pharmacies as well as the firms that make them

Opinions please!

My suppression is wearing off. I am due my next dose on Sunday, but it is a bonus dose.

I have managed to put weight on over the last few days!

Would you jab today early? Going up to 7.5mg after this bonus jab.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I did! 🐷

coll444 · 27/12/2024 12:55

Hi please can people tell me where you get your MJ from I really can't afford Asda! I forgot what a Ladie told me to look for because I need to order, I only went with Asda because my doctor said you need to go with someone safe? I've had 10% off with them once but that's it, is there any codes that I could find? Thanks so much xxxxx

How do you guys get this weightloss injections and how overweight do you need to be? Just curious

Fizzleawayy · 27/12/2024 13:06

Xmas has been lovely.
I haven’t gone mad with Xmas food but had some extras, didn’t really drink.
Being ‘good’ today although I will have a slice of home made cheesecake today and I had one yesterday and the day before.

It’s nearly all gone. Can you freeze cheesecake?! Would be a shame to waste it but it cost £45 from a local baker!

I will weigh tomorrow and see what the damage is or isn’t. Will be happy with a small gain or a sts as Iv had a lovely Xmas.

NearlyNewHip · 27/12/2024 18:04

Day of reckoning here too tomorrow morning (will do my second 7.5mg jab tonight).... I've given myself a good talking to in readiness and a few pounds on is fine. Have enjoyed some treats and it will soon be off again when I'm back to normal eating x
And if some cheese or other opened bits and pieces need to be binned, noone is going to come and shoot me for being wasteful x

..,Anyone else feel a bit off in the stomach after eating rice on MJ?

HansHolbein · 28/12/2024 19:48

@flowerlady2 I had rice a few weeks ago and never again! I felt like shit for days and had the most awful burps 🤢

TwinklesToes · 29/12/2024 10:25

For the first time ever I lost weight over Christmas. I still had a really lovely day visiting my children and grandchildren.

Sorry to hear you had a rough time with rice too but it’s also oddly reassuring! I have had no issues with MJ at all and yesterday I was catastrophizing and thought oh no this is it I’ll have to stop using it! Some buscopan and a good sleep has helped - plus your message. No more rice for me!

@flowerlady2 I forgot to add that I did add some of a stock cube to the rice. That probably didn’t help either Grin

Hi all, need a bit of advice. Ever since the Christmas period (last week or so) where I've eaten more because of Christmas etc, I've noticed my food noise has been more prominent. I injected 7.5mg Thursday and for some reason my appetite isn't suppressed? It's only ever since I've eaten slightly more (or over) what I normally eat. Is this normal? I'm worried it's not working anymore. It's my last week on 7.5mg before I go up. Prior to this I've not had any issues with food noise. I'm really worried it's no longer working for me?
