@hellohellooo I once had that happen but think I must have been pressing at a funny angle as I was trying to inject my arm.
As @SilenceInside said, it would be odd for counting clicks to make it jam as the plunger would have to go beyond that point for a normal dose. I have counted clicks for the last 2 weeks on my most recent pen with no problems

Possibly yes!!!

First time counting clicks

Where do people get the wegovy from? Worrying about fakes etc

You get Mounjaro or Wegovy from a registered and regulated online pharmacy. This site has a comparison list of pharmacies that are all registered:

15/11 SW 20st
20/12 SMJW 19st 5lb
10/1 CW MJ week 3 18st 11lb

It’s coming off, slowly but surely. Feeling more motivated than ever.

Feeling hunger at but no cravings or snacking between meals.

That’s great well done. I’m only on week 1, second injection this coming Sunday. Like you, I’m not hungry but am eating my meals, and am not thinking about food at all, it’s nothing short of miraculous! I am worried about side effects from increasing doses, will you be going up to 5mg straight away?

hellohellooo · 10/01/2025 14:38

The exhaustion the day after injecting 10mg
My brain can't work
Total brain and body fog :(

Shame

But will persevere

Will try to maybe inject on a Friday so I can manage this fatigue on a Saturday

RobinEllacotStrike · 10/01/2025 14:59

I had lots of fatigue for the first time when I went up to 7.5 - but just for the daya fter injecting and for 3 weeks. It seems to have sorted itself out.

Hope it eases for you.

RobinEllacotStrike · 10/01/2025 15:18

@hellohellooo I've had problems a couple of times and its been needle issues. The needles are so fine that they are very easy to bend/damage, and I've damaged them when attaching to the pen. So now I check they are on straight and are primed with a bit of the med coming out of the needle before I inject.

Good to know

Will be more careful going forward xxx

Timetofindme · 10/01/2025 16:09

@Kay2000 I started at the end of August, and had 2x 2.5mg pens before I moved up to 5, which I've been on since. If you're getting good suppression, and losing, I wouldn't be in a hurry to rush through the doses. I know theoretically 2.5/5 isn't a therapeutic dose but there's lots of people who've been consistently losing on the lower doses. Equally there's people who've felt very little suppression until the much higher doses.

That's a long waffle to say, I'd suggest being led by your suppression and body's reactions rather than feeling pressured to whizz up through - plus the lower dose pens are cheaper 😂

Kay2000 · 10/01/2025 17:48

@Timetofindme thanks. I’ll wait until this time next week before making a decision what to order.

TiredOfEverythingNow · 10/01/2025 17:59

Late to the party

Just started 7.5mg. It was my second injection 2 days ago and I have no idea if that's due to amoxycilllin I'm on or the 7.5mg injection but I have been so sick I can barely function. Can't eat, can walk around without needing to be sick. God help me. Wish I never went up

Yes I have ordered the 5mg. I don’t think I’ll rush past 5mg if it’s working well.

DH started four weeks before me, he has been fine side effect wise on 5mg but doesn’t think he’s had as much suppression, I think it might be more that he was off work for two weeks with so many more temptations and time to think about food, so he’s going up to 7.5mg. He’s lost 2st 10lb in 8 weeks!

Kay2000 · 10/01/2025 21:42

@TiredOfEverythingNow Hope you feel better soon. Could it be your infection making you feel so poorly?

I have no idea ! Whatever it is, its making me feel so vile. I had zero side effects to date so this has really been a shock. I really feel for anyone who goes through any side effects! Thinking of dropping back to 5mg but fear it won't be as effective now I moved up. Dreading going away in 2 weeks time 😬

Kay2000 · 10/01/2025 22:06

Fingers crossed it’s short lived.

QueenOfHiraeth · 10/01/2025 22:40

@TiredOfEverythingNow I'd be tempted to count clicks and go down to 5 just for the next dose or two until it settles. There's no point battling on feeling awful and a week or two is not much as we are all thinking of long term results.
Good luck

Saturday weigh in and 3lb loss this week 😊

End of week - 29 (5 x 2.5mg, 24 x 3.75mg)
SW - 21st 5lbs BMI 44.8
CW - 16st 2lbs BMI 34.9
Losses (2024) - 10,2,2,4,1,3,3,3,1,3,2,2,3,3,2,3,3,2,1,4,0,2,3,3,1,4,0
Losses (2025) - 0,3
Total loss - 5st 3lbs (73lbs), 24.4%
Next Target 🎯- 14st 3lb by end June (BMI < 30, 100lbs lost, Onederland!)

Pleased I stayed on 3.75mg even though worrying snacking and food noise had started up again over the Christmas fortnight, now back into a routine and suppression and habits have kicked back in - left me wondering how much of this is medication and how much is placebo/willpower/habit/what's in the cupboards - maybe 50/50! Guess it doesn't matter if it is working and supports keeping on track long term!

I have been having increasing hot flashes causing terrible sleep disturbances over the last few months, so spoke to my Dr and have first HRT patch on this morning! It will be interesting to see if it impacts weight loss either positively or negatively over the next few weeks/months.

Well done everyone on their losses this week and @Eminybob for reaching target! 🤩 Good luck with your maintenance now and do let us know how to get on! 💗

Darlinghag · 11/01/2025 14:11

Saturday weigh in and I am showing a .8lb gain 💩

I’ve been in a deficit and doing my usual, so the only logical reasoning behind it is that I am still recovering from illness and my period started today, so hopeful there will be a better result next week.

this week in general has been tough with regards to MJ. I am at the end of week 10 on 7.5mg and I just haven’t felt a huge amount of the drug this week. I typically have about two high suppression days, which I haven’t noticed this week, and I have definitely increased food noise. Its been a bit frustrating but I am hoping it just a one off. It has worked in the sense that I have been able to remain in a deficit, and i still get full pretty quick but i have noticed that with the reduction of effectiveness, my (already minor!) side effects also wore off - i usually struggle to sleep nights 1/2 after jab, but it wasnt such a problem.

I have a golden dose in my pen so will take that as normal tomorrow, and then I have a new 7.5mg pen, which, if next week is worse than this week for me, i will use that pen’s golden dose to bump up 7.5mg a little.

Its been my first ‘bad’ vibes week in 21 weeks, so i guess thats not too bad! Given all of the above, i’m not tracking today and will probably eat a bit more chocolate than normal, but did resist my first real urge in 21 weeks to buy a share bag of haribos and inhale them.

WeAllHaveWings · 11/01/2025 17:04

@Darlinghag hopefully it is just your body calling out for a bit of nutrition after your illness/period due and suppression will get back on track shortly. I can remember in previous weight loss attempts, before menopause, both appetite and loses were really impacted by monthly cycles.

MaybeMrs · 11/01/2025 18:12

Got my golden dose out of my pen! Had to force the twist but it worked. Pleased about that. I started this journey 4 weeks today and I am 18.5lbs less than when I started. Do you see it? Pictures are 20th December and today. It’s hard to believe as I’ve found it pretty easy going thanks to no food noise and good suppression.

RobinEllacotStrike · 12/01/2025 10:12

@Darlinghag gain will be disappointing but you know this is a bumpy process & I'm sure things will settle down. Hope you are feeling better now.

I weighed exactly 100kg this morning.
24 kg total loss to date
26 more to go to reach top of my "healthy" BMI range.

Nearly halfway to losing the equivalent of a female Olympic boxer.

Hoping to stick on 7.5 for another few weeks.

Snozzlemaid · 12/01/2025 10:52

You can definitely see a difference @MaybeMrs Well done, you're off to a great start.

I'm now a lb lighter than Christmas eve so I've lost the 3 I put on over Christmas and 1 more, so back on it and glad to see the numbers going down again.

I'm now 13 stone 3lbs, so really looking forward to seeing the 12s on the scales very soon.

WeAllHaveWings · 12/01/2025 14:28

NSV - Tried the size 18 jeans I bought a couple of months ago and they fitted (with a bit of encouragement) today! 👖😊

My size 20s are hanging off my now non-existent bum and I am constantly hoicking them up, but until now the 18's were just not meeting in the middle across my fat belly. I'm still wearing larger/swing tops to hide the top of my B shaped belly which has developed an unattractive dip in the middle so it looks like a lower pair of boobs in tighter tops 😟

The size 20👖 will do for knocking about the house and I will keep the 18s for going oot. I refuse to spend money on more 18's when size 16's👖are the cupboard waiting! Hopefully another couple of months and my belly "boobs" will have reduced a bit too!

Questions1234 · 12/01/2025 15:53

I was just looking at the price comparison site, and it looks like there’s a lot of price variation between providers with a lot of offers. As I have a long (long!) way before I’m at the BMI 30 mark, would it work to jump between providers to make the most of all the offers, then settle in with a provider who offers good maintenance before I get to BMI 30?

Are there any downsides of doing this?

I’m very new to all this, but already it feels life changing (and I don’t use that lightly) so trying to stretch out the funds to afford for as long as possible!

Grateful for thoughts of others who are in it for the long haul.
