Afternoon all... hope everyone is feeling ok..
I definitely need to catch up on the thread but yesterday felt awful and thanks for all the well wishers; today maybe not so bad but had to go for an MRI scan this morning at the hospital and needless to say had a complete mini meltdown and acted like a toddler to be honest... i was literally yelling and crying at them for them to get me out ! So today i feel emotionally and physically drained, as well as nauseous but haven't been sick; just a bit of toilet problems but i managed some scrambled egg earlier so at least have had something in me.. I can't focus very well on the computer as my head's banging but honestly sending lots and lots of love to all on here and i promise i will catch up on the thread at some point, but think an early night is in order .. xx

weaseleyes · 25/11/2024 17:34

Poor you @Changinghabits1973, I'm sure not feeling well would contribute to the anxiety and discomfort of an MRI. Hope an early night leaves you feeling much better all round.

doingitthistime · 25/11/2024 18:29

I have a problem. My rings are loose enough to fall off my fingers. I don't want to get them adjusted yet as I have another stone or so to go, yet I don't want to take them off. I didn't even know I had fat fingers 😆. I guess it'll be a way to gauge if I start gaining in the future.

weaseleyes · 25/11/2024 18:49

@doingitthistime As an interim measure you could buy a cheap thin tighter ring to wear on top of the others. That will help keep them on until you resize them. There's one of mine I might have to do this with.

owlyboo · 25/11/2024 19:44

@doingitthistime I've had the same thing but it's worked well for me as a lot of my diamond rings were all for my ring finger and now I can wear them on my right hand which used to be much bigger... divorce schmorce a diamond is a diamond so I'll still wear them on another hand 😂😂

I've had a bath and now chilling on the sofa and feeling much better than earlier. Haven't had the 💩s for an hour or so now so hoping I won't have it during the night!!

Hope others are feeling slightly better. Luckily I have a chilled day tomorrow getting my hair done so nothing strenuous!

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/11/2024 19:45

@Changinghabits1973 I'm
Sure they are hard to people freaking out so don't worry

@Timetofindme my rings are also loose

I have a jacket in the ninja so will try that

@owlyboo and @doingitthistime Google ring guards—they vary from plastic to gold and sit at the bottom of your ring. You can wear diamonds wherever and whenever you want, darling—there are no restrictions! 💍My first NSV was that my diamond tennis bracelet (that I pretty much never take off) was sliding down onto my hand, and it now hangs - who knew I had such fat wrists 😂😂

Feel better those who have been poorly.

@Azuresky68 hi! I’m on 10mg too! It’s been unremarkable so far, no side effects. I had a consistent rate of weight loss too, whereas on the lower doses I stalled towards the end. How are you finding it? I am in a habit of increasing my dose each month so have 12.5mg in the fridge but I can always use less if needed ☺️

@Belle96 I’m in my 20s too and have noticed hair loss. I have also been super stressed due to work, so that’s a compounding factor. I’m not too concerned because it’s likely to be telogen effluvium (increased temporary shedding) as opposed to permanent hair loss. You can tell the difference if the hair that’s coming out, has a bulb of skin at the root? If not, the follicle should be unaffected.

I have started taking collagen, biotin and using Rosemary scalp oil which my hairdresser recommended. I had blood tests too which were normal, but worth requesting in case any vitamins are low ☺️

Thank you so much for this, I too have been overloaded workwise since starting this journey and the side effects have been horrendous, coupled with feeling I can't take a step back and have time to myself but I have looked at every hair today as I've re adjusted my pony or moved my hair and it doesn't have the bulb or skin at the root, I'm taking that as a good sign and I really need to book back in with my hairdresser, haven't been since I started all of this, she should be able to guide me too but appreciate your reply, it's put my mind at ease Xxxx

ChunkyMunky · 25/11/2024 22:38

Woo, caught up again, although I can’t remember half of what I meant to tag / reply to!

@4pink1blue those pictures are amazing, well done!

@Blondeshavemorefun and @owlyboo sorry you’re feeling rubbish. Sounds like what I had mid way through pen 2. It’s horrible, hope it doesn’t last long and you’re feeling better soon.

@Changinghabits1973 sounds exhausting, hope you get some rest and relief.

Sorry to hear pup is still poorly @NippyCrab, they’re such a worry aren’t they.

Big congratulations for all with losses and NSVs. Amazing how far we have all come, and fab to hear that some are reaching or close to target.

CrazyGoatLady · 25/11/2024 22:44

Aww @NippyCrab sorry to hear pup is unwell again. I haven't read all of everyone's updates, just catching up now, but wanted to send best wishes to pupster x

WitchDancer · 26/11/2024 08:22

Morning all, I weighed and jabbed yesterday and am in the 15's! 2 lb loss this week, which makes a nice change from the normal 1lb.

Aww no problem! I ended up getting a new job - I realised my previous employer wasn’t worth the stress that caused me to gain weight to begin with!

I had temporary hair loss a few years ago which was identical to this. I can confidently say it does grow back. The waiting game is a bit annoying but it will hopefully be worth it in the long run with a healthier physique!

sorry about the side effects - definitely chat with your pharmacy as well xxxx

eeeeeeeee · 26/11/2024 09:10

@MabelSpan @weaseleyes @Blondeshavemorefun aww thanks everyone! It’s weird, I don’t feel at my goal yet but it’s definitely a good milestone to reach.

I don’t think my body looks that different yet. I’m starting to see my jawline emerge a bit more though!

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2024 09:58

@WitchDancer fab you've gone down another stone bracket

@eeeeeeeee remind us of your stats - how much you have lost /height etx

I'm finally feeling better. Still really tired and been napping daytime but don't feel queasy today

Thank god !!

I'm not really feeling hungry so guess this is suppression again but should I eat breakie

Do people not eat if not hungry

I'm not sure what to do. I like breakfast usually whether a brioche - shake or fruit /cereal

OP posts:
lookathatbookcase · 26/11/2024 11:28

My turn to be a bit lightheaded and wobbly today with upset tummy - can't work out if it's a stomach bug, general cold-weather malaise, MJ, or something else. Hope everyone else is holding firm.

@Blondeshavemorefun It depends on what type of 'not hungry' I am - I do always try and have something with protein, especially for lunch; I can cope with only 2 meals a day, but make sure that I'm keeping my water intake up.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2024 12:31

@lookathatbookcase seems weird a few of us felt sick /queasy/toilet a lot

I'm still not sure if was mj or a bug

I rarely get ill

I didn't have breakfast in the end but just having lunch now and managing to eat ok

Protein bagel, chicken and cheese and raw catguts

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2024 12:31

Ffs. Carrots

Why does it keep changing to catguts 🤮🤮

Could you please tell me which trousers you think fits better please? Difficult to see as they're the same, just different sizes. I'm going out out on Saturday and want to feel 'nice'.

The ones on the left are smoother over the hip.l and seem more tailored.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2024 13:33

Left look better. Assume smaller

Right look too big

OP posts:
poppym12 · 26/11/2024 13:40

Thank you @Mum0ntherun and @Blondeshavemorefun. I'll go with the pair on the left as they're a bit comfier. It must be the way I'm standing or something as the ones on the left are the bigger size. I was hoping to be in the smaller ones by Christmas but I've got a night out a month early - there's still some hope for Christmas though! They feel a bit snug around the waist so probably not wise to wear them when going out for a meal.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2024 13:45

Left are def more flattering

Weird diff sizes
