T 1/4 chicken pepper chilli pizza. I would have eaten 1/2 of it but so blood hot so Taste buds have def gone weird

S 10 malteasers instead of deeno choc
Raw catguts
Melon

Tummy painful so about to go to bed and thought nope don't feel good and hobbled to loo. Also needed a wee so sick in bin while weeing

Classy bird me !!

That's TMI so going to bed now lol

Hopefully suppression will come Tom

But also don't want to feel how i did last week. Shudders

What the holy hell are catguts @Blondeshavemorefun ? Hope not literal though don’t want to criticise if that’s your leaning (quick check my kitties are home snd safe) . Cashews maybe? Well done for aiming at the bin. Sorry you’re feeling sicky. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

CrazyGoatLady · 16/11/2024 23:07

Oh no @Blondeshavemorefun hope you are feeling better tomorrow!

owlyboo · 16/11/2024 23:11

I went out with a friend who has just started MJ and I warned her I really struggled with alcohol especially in the early days she just messaged to say I've just been sick 🤢 whoops!!

weaseleyes · 16/11/2024 23:33

Really hoping catguts are a typo!

Glittermoonlight · 17/11/2024 00:41

So sorry you’ve been sick@Blondeshavemorefun - hopefully you feel better after some rest.

SammySays · 17/11/2024 00:59

Sorry you’re feeling rubbish @Blondeshavemorefun I’m in solidarity with you. Had a day off plan today because of celebrations planned for my mums birthday. Had a full English this morning, had 2 chocolate croissants through the day and 4 spare ribs from the Chinese and I feel horribly sick. The last 3-4 hours I’m feeling so nauseous I’ve been considering making myself sick and hopefully being done with it. Feel like eating badly then making myself sick to not be ‘punished’ would be a bad habit to pick up though so I’m suffering through and hoping I remember it next time I want to eat badly.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/11/2024 07:44

@FlappingMadly @weaseleyes @Glittermoonlight

Rest assured all kitties safe - would never eat them

I didn't check what I wrote

Iphone fail

Raw carrots 😂😂

I think raw catguts would def make me sick !!!

@SammySays sorry you feel rough. I did feel better as soon as was sick so hope you were sick /feel better

I'm not sure what caused me to be sick

I've avoided grapes the last few weeks as seems they don't like me

Shame as I love grapes. I may try again one day

I didn't think I ate that much but maybe I did

The pizza I would usually eat a whole one - before mj - and never found it spicy at all but I literally stopped at 2 pieces as mouth was burning !! Had planned to eat 4 which was half and in my calories

I've def eaten pizza before on mj but not this flavour - usually pepperoni or meat feast and been fine

Maybe melon or malteasers ?

But the weird thing was and sorry if tmi so stop reading now if easily offended

But

A lot of the sickness was Banana tasting /lumps of it and I ate that about 9/10am so 12hrs previously

Anyway felt fine after and slept all night minus the 2/3hr wees but that's normal now

Happy Sunday all x

Morning all - happy Sunday !!

@Blondeshavemorefun so pleased after having caught up that you are feeling a bit better this morning... weird that it made you feel so rough, could have just been the mixture combination maybe, but who knows on this journey.. each day seems totally different doesn't it and affects people in so many different ways... hope you continue to feel better throughout the day though... xx
@SammySays sorry you felt rough too .... but i have to say what you ate to celebrate sounds lush !! My mouth was drooling just now at the thought of a full english breaky !! I hope you feel a bit better today.. xx

Hope everyone has a nice day, whatever you are up to...

I am off out for the day; going with a friend to a lovely outdoor shopping centre, surrounded by lakes, about 1.5 hrs from me and there are lovely cafe's and restaurants on the lake too so looking forward to it - plus there's a Primark !! So need to go in there; i am hoping to get a couple of bits (I don't know why but i think i want to get a long black cargo skirt so i can wear it with my long boots !) but to be out in the fresh air shopping for a few hours is i think just what i need today ! I think i am going to try and buy something a size smaller and that can be my next aim to have it hanging in the wardrobe and keep trying it on every so many weeks !

Have a good day xx

ChunkyMunky · 17/11/2024 08:24

Ohh blondes, it was probably the raw cat guts! Love a good typo but sorry you’re feeling rough. Sounds similar to what I’ve had in previous weeks. It might have been the carrots, I noticed (sorry tmi) when I was sick that I hadn’t really broken carrots down at all, they were still intact in neatly diced little cubes when they reappeared 48 hours later.

Quick weigh in for me, and the 1.4lbs that I’d put on mid-week has come off again. So overall, it’s a stay-the-same week for me, but I’m happy with that instead of a gain.

poppym12 · 17/11/2024 08:38

I've been bouncing up and down the same few hundred grams for 3 weeks so I think it's time to jump up to my 7.5 pen.

Last Sunday I tried to do 6mg from the old 5 pen but probably got around 5.8mg out.

Suppression has still been there but it doesn't seem to be working so wish me luck for 7.5 having no awful side effects!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/11/2024 08:45

@ChunkyMunky neatly diced cubes. Did make me laugh. Sorry. It's weird tho isn't it what comes up undigested

@poppym12 yes time to dose up

@Changinghabits1973 enjoy shopping

Sure 7.5 will be ok

FlappingMadly · 17/11/2024 09:02

@poppym12 good luck! You will smash it!

@Blondeshavemorefun are you feeling better today?

@SammySays hope you’re feeling better today..

@ChunkyMunky good news!

I made sweet and sour pork yesterday. I tried to healthasize it by not browning and just marinating the meat and dry frying the veg and cauliflower rice, walking the dog straight after & was absolutely fine last night so thought phew! It was really nice btw. But this morning my body said uh no and bleugh. Haven’t quite pood a baby but close (wasted a long time looking for a pic 🤣) and very sicky. Feel okay now, just tired. Listening to the zoe podcast on obesity and feeling quite emotional.

Yes fine today @FlappingMadly Thanks

Sorry to hear about you feeling poorly after s&s pork. I wouldn't have thought it was that bad ?

weaseleyes · 17/11/2024 09:28

My bet”s on the catgut pizza @Blondeshavemorefun. It was probably a bit greasy and heavy in your newly delicate suppressed state. When you ate it before was it on a lower dose? Especially as it was a bit spicy too.

I do think, though, based on our thread, that sometimes things in general just get a bit backed up and maybe if we’ve just randomly moved less one day or eaten something slightly heavier it can be enough to set us off given digestion is slowed. I don’t think it always has to have a specific trigger or something has to be wrong as such.

I had a very small curry and a beer out last night. I haven’t been sick but I think I have stunned my body into a state of bloated discomfort!

Motnight · 17/11/2024 09:31

Good morning everyone. Lovely to read all about people's victories. Hopefully everyone that is struggling will find it easier soon.

I am away with a friend by the seaside for a few days. Deliberately not jabbing until Tuesday (2 days late). There's quite a lot of eating but also walking so my hope is to stay the same this week.

Happy Sunday 🙂

Motnight · 17/11/2024 09:32

PS Am in my lovely (I think!) Seasalt rain jacket that I bought during lockdown and only now can fit into it!

weaseleyes · 17/11/2024 10:08

Very gratifying @Motnight !

FlappingMadly · 17/11/2024 10:11

It might not have been connected at all @Blondeshavemorefun - I’m just assuming it was as there’s sugar in the sauce - brown sugar but still sugar & maybe a shock to the system It seemed as if my body was rejecting something it didn’t like.

FlappingMadly · 17/11/2024 10:17

@Motnight have fun and fantastic coat NSV!

AuntieDote · 17/11/2024 10:37

Morning all.
Another 2.5 off this week, bringing my total loss to 2 stone 5lbs.

Very happy my weight is firmly in the ‘12s’ now - it’s been kind of hovering for a couple of weeks.

@Motnight - hope you’re having a lovely time at the seaside!

Usernamechangeforthis12 · 17/11/2024 10:40

Hey all, well done of all the losses and the NSVs and sorry to those no feeling so good.

@NippyCrab so pleased your pup is okay.

I’ve been away for a couple of weeks so have missed loads. I’m feeling very ropey today, combination of jet lag and lots of the wrong food yesterday. I’m hungry and thirsty but nothing is tempting me!!

I’m feeling massively bloated and have eaten far too many carb heavy meals whilst away, and far more than I would have done at home. Convinced I’d put on at least half a stone so thrilled to find it’s only 1lb!!

Back on it from tomorrow.

AuntieDote · 17/11/2024 11:23

Huh, I’ve just been studying the BMI chart and it seems I’ve got a good 1 stone 12 to go to get into a healthy weight range (and even then it will just be by a whisker!)

I think I did know this already; I started off thinking about 4 stone and I’ve lost 2 and a bit so that checks out - but for some reason today it feels very far away and a bit disheartening!

I’m not sure that will be my actual goal - my plan is to get down another stone (which will take me more or less the lowest I’ve been in my adult life!) and see how I feel - I don’t actually know that what the bmi chart says is healthy is a realistic target for me, I couldn’t actually imagine being that somehow!

lookathatbookcase · 17/11/2024 11:39

Morning all - sending good vibes to all for the week ahead. Have broken through the plateau of the last fortnight to drop a few lb:

SW: 15' 8
CW: 13' 4.

I can't easily descibe this without sounding like a bad writer, but it feels very strange to be in a new body (and a new face!) but still be the same person inside, and yet changed somehow? I've made a little pinterest board of clothes I like in the shop now, to track what gets reduced in the xmas sales, but which time I hope I'll be near to the weight/size I'm hopefully staying at. Like @AuntieDote I don't think I actually want to be at the lowest BMI as I think I'll look pretty gaunt there, but let's see.

weaseleyes · 17/11/2024 12:29

Congrats @lookathatbookcase! It's interesting that you feel so different. We seem to be divided between people who think they still look essentially the same in spite of losing weight (I'm in this camp, though I can see technically that bits of me look a bit different) and people who are really taken by their emerging new self. I wonder if we have different histories of how we see ourselves?

I think it's fine to stop at whatever weight you genuinely feel good at, provided it's in spitting distance of a healthy BMI. There are so many people, though, that say they fear they'd look gaunt at a healthy BMI. that I don't think it can really be true. It'll be true for some, of course, but for most of us it's probably more the shock of looking so different. Plus there's always others who feel threatened when someone loses weight and rushes to tell them not to 'overdo it', in spite of probably negging them about their weight for years! There aren't loads of people who are a healthy weight that I secretly think are looking unduly gaunt. It probably is helpful to try to settle at a weight that feels sustainable, though, so as to avoid failing to maintain it and then just giving up. That's what I'm aiming for.
