@owlyboo well done onnloss

@WitchDancer how are you ?

@FlappingMadly great loss over all

We are all doing well. Some like me it's taken a while to get here but whether we have lost lots of little over the 3mths we have all lost weight

That's a good amazing thing!!

I've bought these. On offer so £12 for 8 so £1.50 each

They taste like yazoo milkshakes. Really nice

The ones I make up are thinner and taste powdery. These don't and means I can have one on the car /in bag /by bed for breakie so don't have to get up 😂

435ml - less than 200c and 25g protein

Had one for breakie with a banana

@FlappingMadly thank you! It's obvious now but I just couldn't work it out somehow

@Blondeshavemorefun I'm doing ok, thank you. Surprisingly the higher dose seems to suit me better than the 5. I'm still getting a little nauseous but have worked out that's hunger and if I eat something it goes. Don't ask me how that works cos I really don't know!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/11/2024 10:53

Glad 7.5 is better @WitchDancer I've read that a few times that feel bad on 5 but ok on 7.5

Doesn't make sense but ......

I rarely post now as struggle to keep up but when I do drop in I love seeing how you’re all getting on so thank you for being so proactive with sharing. You are all doing brilliantly and it’s good to see. The chocolate pooch is absolutely gorgeous- so glad she’s on the mend.

I’ve had a lovely NSV today- bought jeans from M&S online in a size 14. When they arrived thought “what have I done, they’re tiny’ - but to my surprise, they fit! ( admittedly with a substantial muffin top- I’m very portly round the upper stomach and have fine fleshy love handles too :)).Still, I’m over the moon as the scale hasn’t really moved on my 5mg pens- literally lost a couple of pounds over the last six weeks and mostly bounced up and down. I’ve been really cautious moving up to 3.75, then 5 over three pens but have just taken a bonzer bonus dose today of 7.5mg so fingers crossed I’m not too ill.

weaseleyes · 16/11/2024 12:31

Glad you're seeing results @Addictedtobeauty, that's a great NSV!

I'm done some occasional forays into my 'too small' drawers and have unearthed some mid-range fatness clothes that now fit a bit better. Small clothes are still a very, very long way away from fitting and I suspect I am now too old for them anyway! Some things fit fine but aren't particularly flattering. I have a very droopy spare type that gives an unpleasant saddle bags effect. Not sure how much that is going to disappear, though am hoping for a reduction in it. Having spent years in loose stretchy trousers I might have to invest in some that will hold it all in a bit more firmly - only once I've got down to goal weight, though.

I've said before I think I've been in denial about how fat I am at the same time as hating myself for it. Actually I think really I'm in denial about how short I am! There simply isn't the space to pack as much weight in as I've been doing. Now if only there was a height-promoting equivalent of MJ...

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/11/2024 13:18

@Addictedtobeauty nice to hear from you - yah for new smaller jeans and going to 7.5

How tall/short are you @weaseleyes

OP posts:
FlappingMadly · 16/11/2024 13:40

I’ve just been out and wore a waterproof I couldn’t do up comfortably at all last year and didn’t wear. Anyway, I went to stash my key in the breast pocket and found 100 pounds! Don’t even remember why it was there. Win!

@Addictedtobeauty lovely NSV! Enjoy it! 🤞 7.5 is kind to you.

@weaseleyes we really are our own worst enemies. Can I pop you in my pocket? No! Ergo, not too short. Buck up now! You are a goddess and you know it.

Glittermoonlight · 16/11/2024 14:11

Congratulations @owlyboo on your loss, and such a good feeling @FlappingMadly on finding out your waterproof now fits! Plus a £100!🎉 - treat yourself to something special for doing so well losing weight gift!!
@Blondeshavemorefun so far so good on 10mg for me, only one day in though! Woke up a bit nauseous, but suppression is back today!! Hooray! So cross fingers I’ve found my lucky dose too😂

weaseleyes · 16/11/2024 14:50

Wow to finding £100! That's a nice pre-Christmas bonus, you should buy yourself a treat.

I think there probably are some pockets I could fit in - I'm 5'2" (but in denial about the fact I think I've shrunk at least an inch. I will not confront this till I reach goal weight and have to adjust my BMI to match my even greater teeniness.)

20bloodypounds · 16/11/2024 14:53

@weaseleyes I'd take that height-increasing medication in a flash. I don't like being small and I hate being small and round. I sometimes stand one step up on the stairs to kiss dh. It makes me feel more equal in kissing him rather than a diminutive woman asking for a kiss from the big strong man! From a short height I can't kiss him unless he 'consents' and lowers his head.

@FlappingMadly what a bonus! Time to treat yourself. I've got an expensive waterproof jacket that I bought 5 years ago. I haven't worn it for the last 4 and earlier this year I couldn't even get it zipped up. I was too ashamed to admit this to dh so I told him that the zip was broken it would have been if I'd put it on Another stone off and I'll be back in it, and the zip will have to be miraculously fixed!

Changinghabits1973 · 16/11/2024 15:56

Pleased everyone's day is going well ! @FlappingMadly - bonus !! That's an awesome find and well done !! x

Well, i had two hours in total in the pool - wanted to swim for a while before my Aqua class... it felt so good to be back in it but flipping heck - the pool hadn't got to temperature because it was only re-filled yesterday late afternoon and it was literally like swimming in melted ice !! Needless to say i went in the steam room twice just to get warmed up !! Hopefully when i get there again on Monday i will notice a bit of a difference with the temperature !! Aqua was good though; different teacher today and she really put us through our paces .... my heart rate was definitely up and think my face was beetroot coloured but i enjoyed it !! @NippyCrab - twinny - yes, it's like aerobics but we concentrate more on lunges, squats, and jogging in water really but to 90's and 00's dance music ! We incorporated foam weights today like dumbbells and did about 15 minutes of that !

Done grocery shopping; got a whole cooked chicken and portioned that all up for the freezer and now doing some batch cooking in my slow cooker - incorporating mince, carrots, spinach, red onions, celery, mushrooms, black pepper, chilli flakes and garlic - smells amazing ! I would never have done this kind of meal pre MJ; i didn't even like mushrooms but its kind of strange how i have cravings for those kind of things now - like my salt n pepper squid and don't really like fish ! xx

NippyCrab · 16/11/2024 16:40

@FlappingMadly shut the front door!!!! £100 spondoolies that's brilliant haha! AND the raincoat fits woohooo.

@Addictedtobeauty aw how are you it's good to have an update and you. I like a lot of what Markies have in at the moment. I got jeans, and they are lovely quality and fit, i got petite length and they are perfect.

@WitchDancer sts is stayed the same x

@weaseleyes it does go, slowly, i can see and feel my tyre going. It wasnt moving and i looked odd with the slimmer legs and this bulbous fat tyre all the way round and it was getting softer like empty saddle bags but now I can feel it's not as poofy puffy now.

@Blondeshavemorefun you're super hard on yourself, stop it! It's the first time i have had biab, I've had acrylics and gel but I am so rough with my hands and nails due to the dogs and I like getting stuck into doing practical things so this is ideal for me. I just kept it the biab nude this time but did get a little paw and some spots haha.
Those drinks get a good rep for being nice, I bought Ufit ones from Tesco and I used to love them but now they taste weird, like plastic urgh it must be the MJ.

@owlyboo that's brilliant and whoop for your loss today, we are on this like hot bonnets!!

@JoyousSwan oh no i hope you feel better, on a higher dose I've felt seedy occasionally and I've needed a wee snack too. Hope you don't have a bug. X

@poppym12 we are all so critical of ourselves aren't we. I have weird chunky legs like bandy calves, take that after my Dad thanks Dad.

@Glittermoonlight fingers crossed this is your golden dose. Xx

@20bloodypounds i love standing on my tiptoes to lock lips with DH, I'm 5"5.5' that 1/2 inch is very important. I also think I've shrunk because I'm sure I was 5ft 6in at school 🤔

@Changinghabits1973 isn't it so weird how we suddenly don't like things we loved, like it's a stomach turner even thinking of having a certain meal. That sounds so nice what you're cooking twinny, I'm really missing cooking because I love it and I love my SC and Ninja. Ah the Aqua trim, at my nearest centre it's too late at night for me and the waiting list is long. There's 2 other centres I could try during the day but the waiting list is mega huge for those. It's so good and kinder on your body doing resistance in the water.

I took some chicken mini fillets out to make a pasta dish and I decided I'm cheating and I bought a ready made fresh pasta sauce from Tesco earlier. I normally make mostly everything. I had a major flip and started painting as in the walls. I'm fed up waiting on DH so I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself in stages, we got new heating installed a few months ago and I'm sick looking at the bare plastered walls in the porch and bedroom. Good exercise.

Happy Sat,
Ps little pookie woo is better again today. I've ordered a thermometer for her, u fortunately it's an anal one lol. My friend said oh Happy Christmas present chocolate chip haha 😄

My posts are always huge haha I do drivel on a bit 😅

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/11/2024 16:43

Oh wow @FlappingMadly £100 cash. I rarely have cash. Wonder why you stashed it there and forgot

@Glittermoonlight yah for 10 and lucky dose

@20bloodypounds and @weaseleyes 5/2 isn't that short. Under 5 is imo

Tho I'm 5/7

@Changinghabits1973 2hrs in a cold pool. You are a stronger woman than me !!

@NippyCrab glad pup is still ok and on the mend

@Blondeshavemorefun - I know !! Your planned evening sounds brilliant ! Love that; all cosy, warm and watching a good movie - enjoy x

@NippyCrab - your dinner sounds amazing too! Just about to portion it all up now out of the slow cooker, but actually feel like I have achieved something today, as well as the exercise so that's good - am feeling it now - it honestly feels like near on bed time !! Well done with starting with the painting also - as you say, yes, its all exercise ... have a nice evening twinny x

And to everyone else, enjoy your evening and well done on all the achievements, NSV, losses etc.... xx

weaseleyes · 16/11/2024 17:16

5'2" isn't that short? Hah! After a lifetime of not being able to see anything at events, being unable to reach the top shelf in the supermarket, being patted on the head by people, being ignored at bars, being unable to find any clothes that aren't too long, I'd disagree. However, the absolute worst of it is realising that if you want a healthy BMI you can't eat as many calories as other people, but nobody dishes up portions by height 😀

My mother used to say she was 5' and half an inch and I'd laugh because we all knew she'd shrunk to 4'11", but now I know why she did it!

Glittermoonlight · 16/11/2024 18:53

OMG!! Feeling really nauseous 🤢- it’s taken til 10mg to experience what lots of you have been talking about, but definitely feeling it now. Hope it improves in the next couple of days. A friend is treating me to a belated birthday afternoon tea next week in London, really not fancying the thought of it at the moment😂We’ve already had to postpone it twice already, so that’s not an option this time. For supper couldn’t even finish my 2 egg omelette, & ended up putting my protein yoghurt back in the fridge. Will have to see what to take for nausea if it persists, can’t take kwells because growing up I used to spend loads of my childhood sailing on yachts, & I associate them with sea sickness, just thinking about them actually makes me feel evener sicker!!😂

NippyCrab · 16/11/2024 19:06

@Blondeshavemorefun do you have a heat pad or hot water bottle to put on your tummy, also some ibuprofen along with your codamol or switch between them every 2 hours will help. Coorie in under the blanket with mini you and hopefully it settles. I'm so thankful I take continous progesterone because I really couldn't have coped with that side effect at all!!

@Glittermoonlight oh no! What about some ginger tea?

NippyCrab · 16/11/2024 19:08

@Changinghabits1973 you've motivated me to do some cooking tomorrow. I need to walk early, and do another coat of emulsion but I have the slimming eats book here and I'm going to snuggle in bed with the brats and choose some things to batch cook.

Everyone have a fabulous Sat whatever you are doing xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/11/2024 19:11

I think my taste buds have changed

Having half an Aldi chicken pizza which has chilli and sweet peppers but low in cals

Totally burning mg mouth

I used to love this. Would eat a whole one easily

I'm having half so 4 slices and mouth burning !!

OP posts:
NippyCrab · 16/11/2024 19:27

How bloody weird! I can't eat anything too nippy 🌶 in general.

I'm not sure if this is MJ or something else but has anyone had issues with their hair? Not shedding but I have had a lot of new growth BUT it's like my hair is becoming coarse and it's dry. I'm not a happy bunny, my curls have halos of flipping frizz, when I straighten my hair it looks awful until I run the irons over it. If this is MJ it can buzz off!

Glittermoonlight · 16/11/2024 19:29

@NippyCrab ginger tea is a good idea, thanks! I’ll put that on tomorrow’s shopping list!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/11/2024 20:01

My hair is ok tho many say they lose

OP posts:
ChunkyMunky · 16/11/2024 22:38

Oooh lovely bonus @FlappingMadly , hope you enjoy your extra pennies.

@Blondeshavemorefun, hope you’re feeling better. Definitely curl up with a hot water bottle.

@Glittermoonlight try mint flavoured things too. I quite like a spearmint polo to ease nausea. Don’t over-do it on sugar-feee types though or you’ll have horrible problems of another variety.

Good day today, kept busy, no food noise. Was able to swerve cakes and chocolates when others were indulging, but did enjoy a decent dinner. Comfortably full about two thirds of the way through, so left overs are in the fridge ready to be lunch tomorrow. Nice to be back on track.
