Miss Mounjaro UK has the most up to date price comparison charts: https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

I will be back in the morning to add all of the information I had spent an hour on earlier on the original thread 23 that sort of went bust but I've just not found time this evening.

I'll cover UTIs again, as well as add the images from Miss Mounjaro, and the list of possible side effects.

Not quite the start to thread 23 that I had planned for, but I do think it's very important that everyone who had successful losses in thread 22 gets a huge congratulations and well done.

Happy thread 23 everybody!

@GlueNoGlue just have to say that a 7st loss is amazing!

Has anyone ordered from Oushk recently? I ordered around a week ago and it's still in processing.

Luckily, I have another pen so it isn't urgent but wondering if it's delayed due to lots of new people starting as it's January or because I've requested a 5mg (usually get 7.5mg) but want to start moving down before officially starting a maintenance plan with them.

They popped on thier Facebook support group earlier this week that they have a back log of orders to approve due to an influx of new year orders ... They did pop a number to contact if you needed urgently so they could expedite those orders ...also something to bare in mind is that if you choose a future delivery date they normally approve / work through in delivery date order ...I normally order for a delivery date as far out as I can get (as normally ordering to make use of code but already have pens) ..and can sometimes take a while (as understandably they prioritise earlier delivery dates)

@DreamingofGinoclock I’ve been with Oushk since the beginning. I ordered a 7.5mg pen on the 5th January. Offered delivery on the 14th January. Still waiting for approval. It is taking slightly longer than usual. Fortunately I always keep a new pen in hand and order when I’m about to start that pen. They are pretty reliable and always answer the phone or respond to emails if you’re worried.

Yes similar here! It's not me that's worried 😊 was @Paperwhite13

Paperwhite13 · 10/01/2025 12:12

Thanks @DreamingofGinoclock and @letshavetea ! Likely because of how busy they are and not because I've changed dose.

Azuresky68 · 10/01/2025 18:12

Has anyone seen the She Med ads on social media? It's too late for me but they are offering a year's subscription for £99 a month for any strength pen. I googled the company name and there was mention of a scam but it all looks genuine ...who knows 🤔

Snozzlemaid · 10/01/2025 18:41

There are lots of threads now on here about She med. Looks like you have to have a blood test at the start for some reason.

They seem to have changed their minds about that.

The trouble is that you can't use the bonus dose.
They send your pen every four weeks, and insist on supervising your injections each week via Zoom.

SilenceInside · 10/01/2025 18:50

The SheMed offer isn't a scam. As a PP has said there are a few threads about it, and a couple of ongoing threads for people who have just started with them in Dec and Jan. There's a link on this thread to the details of the observational study they are doing:

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/weight-loss-injections/5224604-shemed?reply=140687669&utm_campaign=thread&utm_medium=share

Snozzlemaid · 10/01/2025 19:00

Looks like people are still doing the blood tests on one of the She Med threads.
I'd hate that level of contact with a provider and having to zoom call each time you jab! No thanks.
And if they are paying £99 every 4 weeks it's not much cheaper than other providers where you can get 5 doses out of the pen.

i love seeing before /after pics to inspire me if you are willing - or put a sticker over your face etx to protect your privacy

NewLifter · 10/01/2025 22:20

Hey guys, happy new year everyone!

I haven't posted in quite sometime, I'm sure no one remembers me. I used to post daily.

I started MJ in July at 15 stone 8 with a GW of 12 stone 12lbs.

I reached that and decided to keep going and am now maintaining happily at 11 stone 11lbs with no Christmas gain.

I continue on MJ at 5mg, the highest dose I had got to anyway.

I have no plans at present to stop.

It's nice to see everyone's progress 🥰

I'm going to try and attach before and after pics, they aren't great pics though!

Congratulations on reaching your GW and maintaining @NewLifter ! You look fantastic.

GlueNoGlue · 11/01/2025 07:59

@Blondeshavemorefun i haven’t actually taken any, I’ll try and do some this weekend. I usually avoid the camera if I’m honest!

BellaCriesAndThatsAlright · 11/01/2025 08:27

Looking fantastic @NewLifter and I like your style!

BellaCriesAndThatsAlright · 11/01/2025 08:28

I’ve just weighed this morning and my BMI is now 25.02!!

NewLifter · 11/01/2025 09:35

Thanks guys!

I'm really struggling with the cold this year - 75lbs of insulation lost and I've lived in a woolly hat this week. Under my heated throw when at home and my smart meter is at the highest I've even know it. Still cold!!!

I'm the same. I used to be a T-shirt all year round person who couldn't tolerate wearing a coat for more than 10 minutes. I'm currently sitting wearing two pairs of socks and a snoodie.

Snozzlemaid · 11/01/2025 10:25

Me too. My family are amazed I'm saying I'm cold all of the time.
Winter time for me used to mean I would pop on a cardigan over my t shirt occasionally, now I'm in many layers with a thick jumper on top (which I had to buy as I didn't own any warm jumpers before!)

And I have to remember I need to wrap up more when I go out instead of just wearing a thin raincoat.

It's not nice now, but I am looking forward to hot weather in the summer more. I'm hoping I will tolerate the heat better and not be such of a sweaty melting mess.

QueenOfHiraeth · 11/01/2025 21:56

Just read an article in The Mail about Ozempic and weight rebound after stopping. It's a bit of a puff piece by a slimming clinic but they say they have had great success with maintenance by getting patients to reduce to half their top dose and staying there for 6-12 months before stopping it.
Interesting...

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 11/01/2025 22:34

I actually go to bed with my electric blanket on, and keep it on all night.
I love being toasty in bed.
🤣
