Miss Mounjaro UK has the most up to date price comparison charts: https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

I will be back in the morning to add all of the information I had spent an hour on earlier on the original thread 23 that sort of went bust but I've just not found time this evening.

I'll cover UTIs again, as well as add the images from Miss Mounjaro, and the list of possible side effects.

Not quite the start to thread 23 that I had planned for, but I do think it's very important that everyone who had successful losses in thread 22 gets a huge congratulations and well done.

Happy thread 23 everybody!

I am going to do this 12 day plan over Christmas. It's 11 minutes a day so not too much time commitment

Hi all. I haven't posted in a while but thought I'd do an update. I am finally below 170lbs now at 169.4lbs. This feels great! I noticed on my medical record that I was last this weight in 2016. Still need to lose another 20lbs and I've got a 10mg pen as the 7.5 is definitely not working so well now. I too have decided to take it easy over Christmas and not weigh so much so won't be starting the 10mg until January. I've had a few quality street but not nearly as many as I usually would.

It's great to see all the progress. Merry Christmas everyone 😁

letshavetea · 17/12/2024 18:02

Merry Christmas to you all. I’ve decided to stay on 3.75 mg over Christmas. Won’t be going mad with food (can’t eat very much) but will have to be careful with alcohol!

I said I'd pop back and let folk know whether the hard twist method worked with this more recently bought pen. My partner twisted it last night for me and it worked! I was very pleased I love feeling thrifty and it means I now have 2 full pens lined up (medexpress always ask me to order quite early and I'm nervous to let it run on too far in case they say I can't order).

So I've now finished taking 3.75 from a 5 pen. I have another 5 to start next week and I'm planning to do 45 clicks for Christmas week, then 50 clicks for at least the next couple of weeks.

I have a 7.5 pen for after that and who knows what dose I'll take from that next year, but it's nice to know that I'll have options.

Planning a big push of good eating and exercise this week to make space for a bit of a relaxed week next week.

Just to say, as long as you have been on it, they do allow a gap of re-ordering up to 8 weeks. Meaning, you can order your usual strength and don’t have ti start back from 2.5mg. I just re-ordered after 6 weeks gap of orders (for the same reason as you) and they told me that up to 8 weeks I can order my usual or a step up dose, no need to start from the beginning.

GlueNoGlue · 20/12/2024 07:36

Weigh day for me. Really struggled all week with food noise and feeling munchy (not hungry, just want all the food- including the Krispy Kreme’s I stupidly bought!) but really pleased to see I’ve lost 3lb this week!

SW- 20.2
CW- 13.4
Total loss- 6.12!!!!

Paperwhite13 · 20/12/2024 09:36

Well done @GlueNoGlue, that's fantastic!

murraymcgill · 20/12/2024 11:27

@gluenoglue that's brilliant well done I was the same last week and I lost 4lbs was well shocked same this week I'm on 5mg

JusteanBiscuits · 20/12/2024 11:41

Even at my 21 year old sexiest I was a size 12-14 - that's just how my body is built! I would be very happy getting to a 16 and have no thoughts beyond that.

3 1/2 stone gone, and I've only gone down 1 dress size so far! (24-22)

Also will need to start thinking about exercise. Unfortunately a gym near me is out of my price range, and the swimming pools only have open swimming at utterly ridiculous times - during work hours, or 9pm at night. With a long term condition that causes a lot of fatigue, 9pm is not a time I am about to be going swimming!

murraymcgill · 20/12/2024 15:34

@JusteanBiscuits I have a broken back so no exercise here

LucyBnotG · 20/12/2024 18:41

@JusteanBiscuits 3.5 Stone lost is incredible. I hope the clothes sizes catch up for you soon. I need to start incorporating more exercise too so I wish you well on that journey. I hope you can find something that works for you.

dandeliondaisy · 20/12/2024 20:15

Please can you advise where I can post my referral code for Voy? Thanks! Day one of mounjaro tomorrow!

QueenOfHiraeth · 20/12/2024 22:39

@JusteanBiscuits We are similar. I have lost 3 1/2 stone and have also gone down just one size
I plan to start weight training after the New Year

MountKilimounjaro · 21/12/2024 05:18

@JusteanBiscuits and @QueenOfHiraeth I was the same dress size at 3 stone down too and just couldn't understand it.

I then suddenly dropped two dress sizes and skipped over 18 straight to 16 (still kept ordering a size 20 though and XXLs as my brain would not allow me to compute the change).

I'm now five stone down and desperately trying to lose 1.8lbs so that I can drop into the 12 stone bracket. It's been weeks now. Sigh.

The thread is on this board. It's not pinned but usually fairly near the top.

Where is everybody? Have I missed a new thread or are you all just busy?

I've only just realised I haven't had any notifications for a couple of days....it is very strange @QueenOfHiraeth, especially as everywhere else on here seems pretty busy. Perhaps they've all gone somewhere else and agreed not to tell us 😅

I think we're all just busy. December has been absolutely manic for me.

Unemployed and busier than ever.

Just sending DS out for the day with DP so I can become father christmas and his entourage of elves.

Our tree has no baubles only lights and a bow at the top and it might just be staying that way.

The Christmas brie is shouting my name and when duty calls I might just have to answer.

I am hoping to post more after Christmas when I have seen what damage has been done. 🤐

I think everyone is busy, but I can fill you in on my info.

I can report that since July I have lost 60lbs and down from BMI 38 to 27.9. Sadly still officially Obese due to mixed ethnicity, but getting tantalisingly close to Overweight under 27.5.

I weighed this morning at 12st 0.6lb, so hoping for a Christmas gift tomorrow to be in the 11 stones. (I don't think I've pooed for 4 or 5 days, so hopefully that will do the trick. 😁)

Merry Christmas to all.

QueenOfHiraeth · 24/12/2024 13:47

Glad there's still a few folk about (or not hiding from me and @KrankyKumquat Grin)
Chaos reigns here as well. I have been alternating between eating just a bit too much or just a bit wrong (we have eaten out every day for the last 4 or 5) and not eating because I'm too full or a bit nauseous so not ideal but it's not the time of year to worry about it

Caffeineneedednow · 24/12/2024 13:47

Also busy but had a weight in this morning and for the first time in about 10 years I am overweight and not obese (woop woop)

I impulse purchased a wedding dress that was a size 18 ( size 22 at the time). Tried it on last night and it fits with my wedding in just over a week. I am so happy and excited. I think the prospect of that dress is making me even less interested the usual Christmas treats

PermanentTemporary · 24/12/2024 13:50

Yes just busy- and plateauing! Not surprising as I'm eating more with all the socialising but a bit frustrating nonetheless. I've realised Christmas Day is jab day which seems wrong, but luckily I usually feel most side effects the day after, so maybe I won't want to go too crazy on the Boxing Day left overs.

Stuck at 95.7
BMI something like 31.4
GW 77
Lost 10kg so far, size 18, hip aches gone

@Caffeineneedednow Brilliant news! Good luck for the wedding, please do post a pic or two Flowers

Jimmyneutronsforehead · 24/12/2024 16:53

Hope every one is having a lovely Christmas eve so far.

Just about finished the santa wrapping and although they're not very environmentally friendly I'm really appreciating the rare foresight I had to order some foil bags. I will actually save them and reuse them where possible especially the ones with plain decals that aren't particularly festive so they will get a second life. Wondering if I can do something with my cricut to the leftover bags to repurpose them.

Realising as I'm wrapping that my mum hasn't got a present but I've sent her a message and it turns out she hasn't got us one either so we are going to do a not-christmas gift exchange later down the line. Have made her a little shawl but have decided that might be a birthday item.

Christmas tree is still nude as a wee newborn baby.

Not had chance to eat yet but have either fortunately or unfortunately found and had a tipple of mead. Outcome to be confirmed.

Fed up of cardboard boxes, but heartily looking forward to dinner tomorrow.

DP and DS are both somewhere else enjoying Christmas movies and takeaway and I am so ready to welcome in the new year and feel like there's a fresh start.
