Miss Mounjaro UK has the most up to date price comparison charts: https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

I will be back in the morning to add all of the information I had spent an hour on earlier on the original thread 23 that sort of went bust but I've just not found time this evening.

I'll cover UTIs again, as well as add the images from Miss Mounjaro, and the list of possible side effects.

Not quite the start to thread 23 that I had planned for, but I do think it's very important that everyone who had successful losses in thread 22 gets a huge congratulations and well done.

Happy thread 23 everybody!

I've dropped a dress size. My size 20s which were getting to be on the tight side are now loose, and the 18s fit.

Very well done. Such a great psychological boast

TheShellBeach · 01/12/2024 13:07

Oh boy!
My scales started with a 13 today! I'm 13st 13lb.

And they told me I have the body of a 79 year old, which is a great improvement on their last announcement (86).

🤣🤣🤣

SilenceInside · 01/12/2024 13:16

That's brilliant @TheShellBeach, it's always satisfying to break into the next stone down.

How do the scales calculate this "body age"? Is it muscle v fat or similar?

Paperwhite13 · 01/12/2024 13:42

Congrats @TheShellBeach !

letshavetea · 01/12/2024 13:48

Congratulations @TheShellBeach That’s brilliant news.

I don't know!
They're very impolite IMO.
🤣

JamieFrasersSassenach · 01/12/2024 14:55

Yay @TheShellBeach!!! There is nothing like a new stone zone!

TheShellBeach · 01/12/2024 15:06

Those scales are mad, though.
They have told me that I should aim for 7st 7lb. That's ridiculous - I'm 5' 3".

I'm actually aiming for 9st 4lb which is right in the middle of the NHS healthy BMI scale.

So I’m in a bit of a tricky situation and hoping one of you clever people can assist me.

I had to have surgery in early Sept and was advised by medexpress not to inject two weeks either side of the surgery so my last purchase was late August. Due to complications from the surgery I didn’t start back on the medication until late October.

I tried to purchase my next syringe this week and med express are refusing the purchase saying it’s been over eight weeks since my last purchase.

I have sent med express an email with this in and waiting for a response.

is it worth trying to purchase from an alternative supplier?

I'm assuming you are now a healthy BMI?

Oushk seem more flexible on their maintence plans so it may be worth contacting them.

Doggymummar · 01/12/2024 15:33

I had to start over at 2,5mg after swapping from Ozempic too, 5 months to get back up to the same dose. It's annoying but I guess they are following the guidance given by the manufacturer. Next time I will just keep buying it and deal with any side effects.

No my BMI is still high. I’ll give Oushk a try (when medexpress refund me) thank you.

I think Medino would help you.

Abigailandthefoxes · 01/12/2024 16:40

Thank you I’ll give them a look.

I've put a discount code for Medino on the codes thread, if you decide to go with them.

My pens have been coming with good expiry dates, September 2025…. However this month’s one has arrived with an expiry date of feb 2025!…. And old pen they found at the back of the fridge maybe!

JusteanBiscuits · 03/12/2024 13:13

Since moving up to 10mg I have really struggled with slow transit and the resultant lack of pooing. I feel really bloated and meh. I have oats with added fibre for breakfast, veg for lunch, and then a mainly vegetarian diet for evening meals. I still go daily, but really small amounts. Not hard or painful. Any tips would be appreciated.

Senna tablets.

Senna tablets.

I detest senna - gives me terrible cramps. I've been trying DulcoEase but they've made no difference.

Paperwhite13 · 03/12/2024 13:46

Where do you order from @Bas16 ? I've ordered a pen a month earlier than I would have due to Christmas but really hoping it isn't the same expiry date.

Inulin powder is great.
Also prunes, I have a little bowl of them if I need to get things moving anything from 50-90g, never failed me yet. Other things like chia and flax seeds also help.

Doggymummar · 03/12/2024 14:03

I put 10g of chia seeds in my yoghurt and it helps, but I had to resort to Dulcolax at the weekend.

QueenOfHiraeth · 03/12/2024 14:12

@JusteanBiscuits I have the same problem so when I get to the "rabbit poo" point I add more fibre, both as veg, chia, bran, etc and as Fybogel sachets.
Dulcoease can help soften the stools which does help but, if all else fails, Dulcolax is like dynamite.

Personally I would always take the Dulcoease for a day or two before the Dulcolax as I imagine it might be painful otherwise
