Miss Mounjaro UK has the most up to date price comparison charts: https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

I will be back in the morning to add all of the information I had spent an hour on earlier on the original thread 23 that sort of went bust but I've just not found time this evening.

I'll cover UTIs again, as well as add the images from Miss Mounjaro, and the list of possible side effects.

Not quite the start to thread 23 that I had planned for, but I do think it's very important that everyone who had successful losses in thread 22 gets a huge congratulations and well done.

Happy thread 23 everybody!

I use Ashcroft Pharmacy. They are competitively priced, no discount codes to chase and very responsive to queries (they have a dedicated MJ phone line) . I order in a morning, it is approved fairly quickly the same day and delivered by Royal Mail before 1pm the next day

dmott · 20/11/2024 21:55

Med express seem to be doing Black Friday

MelainesLaugh · 21/11/2024 02:22

I’m really impressed with IQ doctor. If you use the code on Monj you get quite a big discount on your first pen and then a smaller one for consecutive ones. Their prices are the best I’ve seen

Time4changeagain · 21/11/2024 04:29

@MelainesLaugh
The 23% code worked for my 2nd pen from them too 😁

InspectorGidget · 21/11/2024 09:37

Finally hit 3st loss today!

Which is a double win as I've come on too so means it should stick - especially as I have nothing on this weekend :)

42lbs over 28 weeks.
BMI from 41 to 33.
17kg ish.

Slow and steady for me - I've not had the fast losses but I'm happy with progress and feel amazing.

No side effects other than a dry mouth.

As a bonus today I've ordered a 15mg pen from MedExpress on their Black Friday Deal. £ for mg will be the cheapest pen I've had!

InspectorGidget · 21/11/2024 09:40

Oh! And under 14st too!

How could I forget that!

My next mini goal is to weigh less than my husband. I think he's about 13 1/2 stone but I'll get him on the scales to be sure!

QueenOfHiraeth · 21/11/2024 12:27

@InspectorGidget Well done on your loss! I am similar, started mid-May and am now at 3st 2lb off, slow and steady wins the race
Where did you see the MedExpress Black Friday deal please? I don't really need another pen as I have just got two this month from Ashcroft so I won't have to order near Christmas but I might be tempted Grin

TheShellBeach · 21/11/2024 13:24

Ooh, I now weigh less than DH.

That's the first time I've been able to say that since 2006.

🤣

SnacklessWonder · 21/11/2024 13:36

My weight suddenly budged this week, after a couple of weeks of no movement from 9st 4lb, I've whoosed to 9st 1lb 😮

Please can you tell me the black Friday code? . Google is making me download a voucher app which I don't really want to do.
Is it a code everyone can use?

Pumpkinforever · 21/11/2024 13:47

Congratulations @InspectorGidget 👏🏻

@TheShellBeach that is a victory I am aiming for. To weigh less than DH is a new year resolution

Time4changeagain · 21/11/2024 14:30

@QueenOfHiraeth @morbidcuriosity
Medexpress sent an email with the code, it’s for 25%. I checked on monj & there’s a couple that come in cheaper with the codes listed.
It says the code is only for the email address it got sent to but it looks pretty generic to me. I’m happy to send it if you want

morbidcuriosity · 21/11/2024 14:35

Ah for some reason I thought was 40% special deal or something.. thought I'm not gonna let that slip by. . No worries, I'll have a look, as I say I don't need one just didn't want to miss out on a deal haha.

pinktransit · 21/11/2024 15:39

I've had an email from Medexpress, but it's only for 15% off... Clearly I'm not one of the favoured ones 😂

Forgot to weigh in this morning, also forgot to bring my pen with me as I'm staying with Mum this week. Definitely not having a good week foodwise, but I am enjoying a few days of not thinking too much about it. I had a guilt-free cheese and ham toastie for lunch yesterday, and it was wonderful.
Will have to jab on Saturday evening rather than my usual Thursday or Friday morning.
Still, I have had a great week, and met my beautiful third granddaughter. She's 2 weeks old and utterly fabulous. It's really hard living so far away from family sometimes - I'm 250ish miles away so can't just pop in and see people.

But, I've had a couple of visits with my younger daughter and her 3 girls, and this evening will visit my elder daughter. She is being the recipient of all of my too-big size 12 jeans, so is very happy.

InspectorGidget · 21/11/2024 16:12

@QueenOfHiraeth we need a slow and steady club!

I got sent the email but it does appear to be generic and I am happy to share (I've done this in the discount code groups) just search my username ;)

JamieFrasersSassenach · 21/11/2024 16:38

Thank you all for your provider recommendations @TheShellBeach
@QueenOfHiraeth @MelainesLaugh

Voy have now agreed that they were in the wrong to send out the pen that they did (screenshots of messages between the clinicians and I are indisputable to be fair.)

They have today authorised a free of charge 2.5 pen to mean I can use the correct dosage for the next 4 weeks.

It took a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, but I am tenacious if nothing else and I am pleased with the outcome.

I will, of course, still be looking at other providers!

Well done everyone on your losses - I too weigh less than my husband but that's not too difficult given that he is so much taller than me and also needed to lose some weight!

@pinktransit how lovely you have got to meet your new grand baby and seen your family. I stretched my dose out a few weeks ago for similar reasons and it was a bit of a slower loss the next week but no real issues.

QueenOfHiraeth · 21/11/2024 16:51

Haha, that's exactly me! Grin
@pinktransit Your life sounds similar to mine. DS1 and family are over 250miles from us with their 2 girls (youngest is 3 months) so I don't see them as much as I'd like. Lucky for me my other grandchildren are more local

So you're at your goal?
How exciting!

What did you weigh to start with?

Mysticmaiden2024 · 21/11/2024 19:37

@DandyTealSeal I felt like this too for few weeks of starting mounjaro, it lowers blood sugar, what helped me was increasing calories to at least 1200, increased fluids and protein. You could try clear protein if you don't like shakes, I usually have half a protein/nut bar a day and some high protein hot meals. Also electrolyte tablets and dextrose tablets when feeling dizzy helps.

SnacklessWonder · 21/11/2024 20:09

TheShellBeach · 21/11/2024 17:04

More or less, but I'd be happy to lose a few more lbs if I can as I'm only just sniffing healthy BMI.

I was 11st 8lb so I've lost two and a half stone since 12th August. I am only 5ft 1 so every lb shows, and NHS actually suggest that anywhere as low as 7st would be a good weight for me (which is bonkers). 9st is good for me, I am naturally curvy.

GlueNoGlue · 22/11/2024 07:47

Weigh day for me, I’ve finally had a woosh and lost 3lb this week bringing my total loss to 6 and a half stone! I’m now 2 stone exactly away from having a healthy bmi!
id like to lose another half stone before Christmas and then start considering winding down. It’s a really scary idea, I have no idea how I’ll manage without the drugs to suppress my apatite. I’ve built a much healthier relationship with food, portions, and exercise. Think I need to have faith in myself and just reduce it down slowly rather than going cold turkey? Not sure, just thinking out loud

Congratulations @GlueNoGlue

I'm a way off thinking about titrating down. 3 gone, 3 to go!

I plan to do that though until I've maintained for a while and come off slowly as I don't ever want to be back here again.

I keep looking for any maintainers threads to follow but haven't seen any yet!!

Pinkbendyman · 22/11/2024 15:16

I’m also titrating down now that I’ve reached my goal weight after losing over 4 stone.

I’ve got 2 unopened pens in the fridge (12.5mg and 10mg) which I’ll use over the next 2 months until the New Year.

My BMI is 24.8 so, if I lose a little bit more, I’m okay with that (even though I’m so happy to be at the weight I am right now)
