@Blondeshavemorefun well done on the loss. I get wanting it to be faster especially when people on tik tok seem to love 7lbs a week 😳😂

@NippyCrab yes to the hilly walk! Get those legs pumping. I definitely think it's helped with my weight loss. Try to keep your chin up but I get it 100%! 4 weeks would have me FUMING!

Pinkjenny · 25/10/2024 08:56

As predicted. I've had a whoosh this week. Thinking last week's gain was a dodgy weigh in.

Although it has made me nervous to move up to 7.5 now!

10lb to go until target.

I'll stop complaining now. For now.

owlyboo · 25/10/2024 08:59

Well done @Pinkjenny must feel amazing to be 10lbs to target!!!

Only going to be a short walk today but here's a swan family for you all 😂

Another lb off for me so dead on 12 st. Next week I WILL be in the 11s :)

Lovely swan picture .. what a great start to the morning!

owlyboo · 25/10/2024 09:08

Well done @wohmum !!

Azuresky68 · 25/10/2024 09:13

Morning all. I haven't put much on here recently but always have a read through and I am so impressed by the care and support on this thread. It took me ages to read through this morning! I also follow the slow losers thread as I usually lose beteeen pound and 1.5 a week. I am on my first 7.5 pen but managed to extract 7.5 approx from my last 5 mg pen 5 days before I went on holiday. Like @Blondeshavemorefun I have gone up the dose every time and I am so glad I moved up to 7.5 mg..finally no side effects. 5 mg was miserable for me. I wanted to lose a stone before this holiday and managed to lose 13 pounds..that's in 9 weeks. I am 68 and have been a yo yo dieter all my life. All I can say is never give up if your weight gets you down..I am 4 foot 11...lost an inch through age. In my fifties I had a very sad and difficult time and went up to 14 stone. That is a lot for my height. I was on meds which didn't help. Managed to lose this sporadically over the years and got down to my best weight in years in lockdown then 2 years ago it slowly crept back on. Thank goodness for MJ. I have 1 stone 1 pound to get where I want to be and even then it's more than recommended BMI! Apologies if I have taken over the thread with a long post as I can see you are a very strong and caring group that responds regularly to support individuals..how fabulous 👌 👏 The group posts are really interesting and helpful for me too. Good luck to everyone and even if you don't lose every week or sometimes gain you are still doing a great thing and deserve huge congratulations for keeping going. 7.5 mg is great for me but it's just so individual isn't it. All the very best x

MargoLivebetter · 25/10/2024 09:15

Right, pep talk incoming for non-losers (which is likely to include me this week). I think slow and steady wins the day with weight loss. I've never really achieved that before, as I'd have fallen off the diet wagon ages ago. I think the most I've ever properly done (as in strictly adhered to) would be 2 months. Always lose and usually too much too fast and then it all goes back on.

With MJ, even when I don't lose, which I suspect is going to be the case this week, it doesn't feel like a disaster and I don't have the "fuck it" moment and want to jack it all in.

So, we should all be celebrating that we can hang in there and the loss will come. It has to slow down, it can't keep falling off all of us, so we need to mentally reward all the good that we are doing regardless!

You may all carry on!!!!! 😂

WitchDancer · 25/10/2024 09:56

Morning all.

I'm a slow looser too, but that's ok. I do get frustrated sometimes reading about major losses, but reading the more recent posts I suspect there's a lot of us that looses at the same rate as me. I'm in this for the long haul and, as long as it's not having a detrimental effect on my body, I'm just going to keep plodding on.

I actually felt a little more normal last week after being really tired and having the sulphur burps. Yesterday the sulphur burps were back and I just felt nauseous again. I've had lots of peppermint tea and some capsules so am feeling a little better (fingers crossed!).

Onward and downward!

NippyCrab · 25/10/2024 10:03

@Azuresky68 post as long a post as you need/want, you've done fantastic 👏 we can do this together!
@Pinkjenny yay congrats on your woosh, 10lbs will not be long in coming off.
@wohmum that number will come soon! Air punch incoming for you with your loss 💪
@owlyboo what a beautiful wee family, i love watching swans, effortless gliding through the water. Tbh I need to up my exercise but stupid ME and Fibro scupper additional activities. Because I'm a single dog parent most of the month I prioritise them and the house. I want to try and swim, even once a week. I've still to move my arse and do it! 🏊‍♀️

@MargoLivebetter pep talk taken on board 🫡 I need to straighten my face haha

@Blondeshavemorefun well done on your loss lady, sorry I missed that reading your post. X

Addictedtobeauty · 25/10/2024 11:01

Just received my order of 7.5mg from PillDoctor and am very impressed. They were cheap, thorough and efficient. Order arrived Puffin packed and cold with ice pack still icing. Used a code from Reddit for £20 off. I’m moving to Oushk for maintenance but will definitely shop around until I get a bit closer to goal.

4pink1blue · 25/10/2024 11:18

Happy Friday! Some fab losses this week. Weigh in number 10 for me...still on 5mg and 3.5lbs this week which means I've smashed 3 stones off. So happy. My aim was 3 st by Christmas so that's now going to be revised to 4 stone. Fingers crossed!

Mounjaro August starters #7
Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2024 11:22

((Hugs)) little ninja @NippyCrab

So you lost and gained the same 2lbs over 3mths

And then lost a stone on mj since we all started

Where most of us have lost 1.5s - some 2+

So can understand why you feel low

I really think it's the low dose

I get you feel crap on a higher one but I don't think you have managed 5 yet have you ?

Maybe take 5 (sorry if wrong number) and some antis sickness tablets and omeprazole

💐💖💐💖💐💖💐

This will hopefully make you feel loved and supported

Plus to make you laugh

I was doing mini blondes hair this am before school and reliesed didn't have a hair band

I said let's side shuffle to the fire where bands were as didn't want to let go of her high ponytail

She was so funny. Mummy we are like crabs - I'm a nippy crab and using her finger and thumb to be a crab - nip nip nippy

😂😂😂😂

You are famous in the blondes household

mm81736 · 25/10/2024 11:23

Took first 7.5 mg dose yesterday and feel awful today, but not sure if it is related.Diarrhoea, stomach ache feeling sick and retching.I work with children so may be a stomach bug.Either way not great!

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2024 11:32

@Pinkjenny fab. Well done. What did you lose ? And wow to be 10lbs to target

I still have maybe 3st

Sighs

@owlyboo thanks. I know a lb is a lb and over a year that's 4st but so many seem to have huge losses

And lovely duck/swan pic

@Azuresky68 you didn't take over the thread. (That's usually me with my woffle)

Lovely to hear from you. Great 7.5 was better for you then 5

@wohmum well done on loss

@MargoLivebetter noted. Thanks for pep talk. It's very true what you said

@WitchDancer I think I have started to read the slow thread. Some have really had tiny losses but again they are losses but I do feel all of your pain

And sorry to hear about sulphur Burps

@Addictedtobeauty great you got a good deal. U.K. gonna have to think seriously what to do for next 10 or 12.5 as now getting really costly

@4pink1blue that is bloody amazing and on such a low dose. Well done

Can I ask what your SW was

I'm very jealous you have lost practically double what I have

@mm81736 sorry to hear been poorly - speedy recovery 💐💐

Pinkjenny · 25/10/2024 11:36

@Blondeshavemorefun I lost 8lb but I had a 2lb gain last week so I'm assuming that wasn't a true gain and it's more like 6lb over two weeks.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2024 11:41

Fuck me

8lbs

Is that a poo baby as well

Joke

Well done @Pinkjenny

Now very very jealous !!!

Pinkjenny · 25/10/2024 11:45

It certainly was! 💩

4pink1blue · 25/10/2024 11:46

@Blondeshavemorefun I started at 19 stone. At only 5' 3" i was huge. Size 22/24. I still have at least 5 stone to lose sadly. However my losses have been pretty consistent so far so I actually have some faith that I may reach target this time!

Mounjaro August starters #7
Timetochange24 · 25/10/2024 12:01

@Blondeshavemorefun well done on your lb - that's still another step in the right direction. I started out with some big losses the first 6 weeks but it's really slowing down now (sts for 2 weeks). You might end up getting to your target before someone who started out fast then had a big slowdown. I get your frustration on price per pound though. You really want to see the difference when it costs so much.

Well done @4pink1blue and @Pinkjenny for some impressive losses.

@mm81736 get well soon 💐

Thanks for the lovely swans @owlyboo

I know I've missed some posts, so well done/keep going to everyone. Even sts means you've made good choices which isn't always easy when it's cold and grey outside and life is busy. And small wobbles are normal and healthy and not forever.

OnTheBounce · 25/10/2024 12:09

Finally a 1kg loss for me this morning - things I did differently over the last few days were: more water, more protein (a random packet of sliced beef here and there), back on the protein shakes for breakfast, and a final bonus dose from my 5 pen which was probably closer to a 6.5. Hopefully things are moving again! I don't mind a slower loss if it's kinder to my hair and skin, but nearly four weeks going up and down the same kg was getting very testing. Big weekend hugs to everyone, especially the STSers - it'll happen!

MabelSpan · 25/10/2024 12:28

@NippyCrab So sorry you have sts again, flounce as much as you wish! The scales will move again eventually. You know you are doing everything right and the most important thing of all is that despite your weeks of sts you are still here, still going, still not giving up. That in itself is fantastic! Imagine how good you will feel when you finally get your big whoosh! Until then, maybe give the scales a damn good kicking!

@Ithinkimrincewind @4pink1blue @wohmum @Pinkjenny Well done on your losses!

@Blondeshavemorefun well done on your loss, thats 2 weeks in a row now isnt it? Sounds like your body is back in the game and fingers crossed when you start 10mg things will pick up even more. I get your frustration about losing the same as when you were on SW. I am losing the same as when I did the fast 800 and that was free!

@owlyboo have fun shopping!

@mm81736 sorry poorly, hopefully just a little bug that will pass quickly.

@OnTheBounce congrats on your loss! I am with you on not minding slower losses if kinder to skin and hair.

Apologies to anyone I have missed😊

MabelSpan · 25/10/2024 12:36

After deliberately skipping my Monday jab this week, I have today given myself a little 1.25mg to see me through to next Monday when my plan is to take 4mg.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2024 12:41

4pink1blue · 25/10/2024 11:46

Amazing tho. Well done

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2024 12:45

@OnTheBounce glad you had a loss after sts

@MabelSpan - it is hard losing the same but costing us much more

yes 2w on the row a loss after 3w of sts

I still feel that 10 will be number

Remember I went from 5 to 10 (with the bonus double ) with no I'll effects at all

I'm hardcore 😂😂

Good luck with 4 on Monday
