So I am not a big drinker, I will only have alcohol on a night out and that works out about twice a year atm. This weekend I’m going away with a huge group for a celebration and alcohol will be a focus for this group. I’m a bit nervous about how I’ll feel. Will drinking on MJ make me sick? Will my tolerance be non existent? What has been your experience if you have drunk on MJ please? I’m on 5mg atm, next dose Thursday and go away on Friday.

@SammySays I've had a drink pretty regularly on MJ. Have felt slightly more shit but okay!

By pretty regularly I mean weekends not every night 😂

@SammySays I just realised it sounded like when I swap my milk for vodka 😂😂

I have drunk pretty much as usual on MJ. No heavy nights but I like a glass of wine with dinner.

I have found you have to be slightly more careful of dehydration but no other bad effects on wine.

Beer fills you up really really quickly and I think would make you sick if you drank much. Fizzy lager or cider would be worse than real ale or real cider.

I would avoid creamy stuff like baileys or cream cocktails.

Booze. I don't really fancy it. I like gin but have poured one here and now and have a few sips and not sure

I've been out a few time drinking while on MJ and found it OK. Had a few cocktails, found them quite sweet so just topped up with lots of soda and that helped with extra water too 😆

Weigh in for me today: -4lbs 🤩 taking me down to -2st 8/-36lb/16.3kg.

@Usernamechangeforthis12 there are some nice pieces on there, they go quickly if they are reasonably priced though. I just happened to be on at the time.

I was saying to DH this will probably be my last or second last pen on MJ. The bone tired feeling is here today having increased and with ME I just can't afford to feel like this and function, especially being on my own with the brats.

I'm going to suck it up for November and hope for the losses I need to get to a manageable weight. Ideally I want to lose another stone. My last weigh in was 12st 8lbs. I will definitely sign up for a maintenance plan though as a crutch if I need it.

@NippyCrab that seems like a sensible approach. It's all about balance at the end of the day. Hope your last few jabs don't take too much out of you.

I've sts this week - not surprising as I've had an indulgent (for MJ) weekend of birthday cake, wine and a lovely meal out. It's definitely ramped up the side effects with constipation and awful heart burn for a few days, which is finally easing off now so 🤞 that's me back on track.

I've been careful the last couple of days to eat low fat to combat the indigestion. Still got constipation so trying inulin powder for that.
I seem to be losing my hair though. It's visibly thinned in the last 2 weeks. Anyone else?

Morning all... happy Wednesday....

Weigh day for me today ....

As you know from last week, i had 3 pounds to go until my 3 stone loss and then I was going to treat myself to an eyelash lift as a mini reward !! I would like to have lost that 3lb in the next fortnight so wasn't putting any pressure on myself at all...
Well, guess what???!!! I weighed this morning and have lost the 3 lb!!! Plus 2 !!!

So, my first full week on the full 7.5mg dose I have lost flipping 5 lb !!! WHOOP WHOOP !!!

Eyelash lift booking here we come ..... !!!!! 😍

@NippyCrab That sounds like the right decision - I remember how undone I was by the fatigue in month 1, and it must be so much harder with both ME + kids to handle too. As with others, hope that you'll have time to occasionally drop back in here to say hi to those of us still ploughing through.
